Bringand brigand brigand brigand brigand brigand STOMP!
To make up for the two days I've missed, I'm writing a triple long post, about Magestry, the reason for my not posting friday and saturday.

Magestry is a LARP (Live Action Role Play), meaning you create a character based of the rules of the game, and then go to the event and become that character for a weekend, acting as he/she would (yes, girls do attend these things, and in surprising numbers). This includes fighting using weapons made from PVC pipeing surrounded by foam to keep them from injuring someone. It's difficult to describe these weapons, but they can look a lot cooler than they sound.
There are two ways to attend magestry:as a PC (player character), which means you pay the $50 registration fee to play the game as a character of your own design. Or as an NPC (non-Player Character), NPCs attend for free, but instead of playing a character they made themselves an NPC works at the direction of the Plot Directors, who send people out to do plots for the PCs or send NPCs out as wandering monsters.

This weekend I worked as a NPC, I'd have preferred to play my character (more on him later) but due to my buying my car soon I could not afford the registration cost. This weekend was the first Magestry of the year, and it went off really well. I won't bore you with the specifics that won't mean anything, but the rulebook was changed and the way the game is run has also been changed to make it much more efficient. Aside from this I also got to see many of my friends that I rarely see, this was good. Unfortunately, because I felt like hell, I left early Saturday night, instead of staying until Sunday afternoon as is my custom. It was a good time though, and I'm deffinately glad it's Magestry season again.

Now, on to my character, Sigma Colds. Sigma is pretty new to Magestry, and as such is still being judged by the more dedicated players. He spends most of his time watching Tonerius get wasted, and then convincing Toner some trees are making fun of his mother.
Sigma's a fighter primarealy, with some skill in healing magic (or the 'sissy stuff' as he calls it) with the ultimate goal of serving the Incarnation of War as a Warlord. Sigma was a noble, but an uprising put him and the lord he served in jail and in the threat of execution. In their daring escape the king was slain, but Sigma escaped, leaving his family to die at the hands of his successor.

Well that's pretty much that. Not much to say, except that I broke the running record among NPCs, getting arrested as four different characters, three of which were arrested before court, but two were not tried T_T That's it for me. -Hammer out-
