   ...
YAAAAAYYYY!!!!! Saturday the 16 was our first gig. We played at Eric's brother's drummer's birthday party. While we played, only like 10 people showed up through-out the whole time that we were there. But then again, that was from about 7:15 to 11:00 at night, and it was an adult party, so the real "party" didn't start 'till like mid-night. But it was still, nonetheless, very fun.
I also went to Barnes and Noble Friday night for the release party for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I READ NARUTO FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!!!! And it ROCKED!!!!!!!!!! I loved it. Well anyway, I got the book (Harry Potter) at about 12:15 am, then we came home.
And now it really sucks because, well I don't know how many of you have seen the weather lately, but Hurricane Emily is due for the RGV by tomorrow. Weslaco, (where I'm from) is between Harlingen and McAllen in Deep South Texas. And what the news people are saying, is that Emily is going to make a direct hit about 50 miles south of here. So we're to be north of it, which means a lot of crup for us here in the RGV.
