aaahhh!!! the food!!!!
I just have to say my mom's side of the family has the best cooks in the entire world!!!!
Ok, I'll clarify.
I went to my aunt's house(more like mansion) last night for christmas dinner. Her sons (both around 24... I think) made (HAND MADE) a six course dinner. It was better than any fancy resturant I had ever been too. Not that thats that much, but oh well. anyway, they started with
some kind of soup with goat cheese and candied walnuts that they made themselves. they candied walnuts for god's sake! anyway, then we had some kind of salmon tartar-ish dish on some kind of avacado mix. next was the crabcakes that were twice the size of normal crabcakes, with home-made sauce of course. then we had leg of lamb with mashed potatoes and bread. With more home-made sauce. then for dessert, we had home-made cheesecake and some kind of brown sugar pound cake.
I almost died. My cousins are some of the best chefs ever! *hops in circles*
anyway, enough about the food.
I've been having lots of fun with Patches. Patches is catherine's (hotspring turtle) guinea pig (however you spell it) and since she was going to hong kong (she's in san fransisco now) I'm taking care of it. its so cute! aside from the fact that it woke me up at 5 this morning. grr...
but its so cute! *hugs patches*
catherine, you may not get your guinea pig back. *glares*
anyway, I'm going to go back and play around with my new nintendo DS (it was my christmas present).
