Ch. 12.5
Chapter 12.5
“The Winter Festival (part 2)”

Ruuke, Kiena, and Maci got to the fair, the whole village was there, and everyone was having fun in celebration of the coming winter. You ask why they love winter so much? Its because they are no longer in danger of the ash from the volcano’s, winter is the only part of the year, there are no clouds, until the snow comes of course.
Ruuke won a couple prizes, a Large teddy bare for Maci, a small dragon snow globe for Kiena for winning that for her, she gave him a kiss on the cheek, of course he blushed, and a free meal ticket for 3, lucky them. They decided to go get some raman; it was good, simple…and free! All the while there was someone watching them, Kiena more like it. It was Kay, watching them from a far thinking, ‘Pshh, I’m way better then stupid Ruuke, better looking and more charming!’ A figure comes up behind him and whacks him across the head.
“OUCH!! MAY WHAT THE HELL?!” He writhed in pain.
May Nizuma, Kay’s twin sister, but she was born about 2 minutes ahead. She was wearing her normal attire, a long dress like robe with long sleeves red in color, a little armor on her chest; hair was in a partial bun and a little tail coming from it. Her hair was black and her eyes also black; a lot like her brother.
“Why are you such a drag on our family Kay?” she asks in an emotionless tone.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!? I’m a great addition to our family; I’m the smoothest one in our family with the ladies!” He says like he’s all cool.
“Kay, you’ve been dumped over 100 times…” she gets cut off
“HEY! 137 times thank you!”
“What ever, uh your such a drag!”
“What ever! I totally think Kiena should have gone with me!”
“Uh you’re so irritating!”
“What, she should have!”
“If you don’t get it I’m not gunna waste my time on you!”
May then walks off to find her date. While Kay’s hatred toward Ruuke deepened. Kiena, Ruuke, and Maci got done eating and just talked for a while when suddenly Ruuke felt a killing intent and caught a Kuni Knife fired at him. The people get out of the way. Ruuke activates his chakra eyes and sees Kay.
“KAY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!” yelled Ruuke.
“I’m stealing Kiena back” He replied as he started to make hand signs, “ARM EXTENTION JUT-SU!!” His arms start to stretch like rubber at Ruuke. Ruuke tries to block but Kiena grabbed Kay's arms before they hit.
“Steal…me…back Kay…?” she said with anger in her eyes.
“Yes Kiena, I know you want me”
“NO KAY!!!” her shiakuugan activates, “I can see into your soul, you don’t even know, there is one girl in this whole village that you didn’t ask that so wanted to go with you”
“Yeah KAY!” a voice came from the crowd. It was Tai-lee with Tao. Tao was just like Maci described him, mostly muscle. He had Light blue hair that was sort of wavy; his eyes were a deep, deep forest green, and wearing formal fighter garb.
“Have you ever thought of that one girl that likes you for who you are, even though you are a lecher?”
“What….who?” he asks, so astounded.
“Who here,” Kiena asks, “Out of all the girls here, who looks the saddest to seeing you here…”
Kay looks around, most of the girls look angry…until he saw Maci, looking down and away from him, “Oh…I see…”
A voice on the intercom started to speak, it was the Gizakage. “Thank you all my friends and family for coming to this momentous occasion, our yearly festival, now we are gunna put on so music, its time for some DANCEIN’!!!”. Gizakage always loved the festival, even when he was a baby. It was a relatively slow song, kind of like a waltz
Kay’s arms go back to his body.
“Kiena, would you like to dance?” Ruuke asked.
“S…sure Ruuke…love to…” Kiena takes Ruukes hand and they start to dance.
Kay looks at Maci, wondering what he should do when Tai-lee elbows him while she was dancing with Tao.
“Go over and ask her to dance before we do!” She whispers.
“Oh…ok” He replies.
Kay walk’s over to Maci and taps her on the shoulder.
“Maci…would you like to dance?”
Maci looks at him and she pauses for a moment, and then nods yes. Kay holds out his hand and she takes them. ‘It may not be the story book ending that I would want’ Maci says in her mind, while she places her head on Kay’s shoulder, ‘But its close enough…’
