Ch. 12
Chapter 12
“The Winter Festival”
A couple days later, the sky was completely clear. This is because every winter the volcanoes around the village go dormant until mid spring. In celebration of these days the villagers hold a festival, a festival of winter. It’s always a place to be, it’s a formal even and everyone brings a date. There’s always great food and fun games.
Ruuke walks to Kienas room to see if she’s there, she wasn’t. He goes down stair to talk ask Sioshi where she is. Sioshi was drinking tea a reading the latest issue of, “Make-out Tactics” the same book Kakashi loves to read.
“Sioshi-sensei, umm do you know where Kiena is?” asks Ruuke.
“Oh I think she’s in town Ruuke, why do you ask? Do you want to ask her to the Festival?” says Sioshi.
“Well…umm” he says blushing, “Yeah I did”
“Oh well you better go find her quick, she’ll be asked in no time flat!”
“Oh, ok bye Sioshi-sensei!” As he says running off to the town.
Ruuke searches frantically for Kiena with his Chakra eyes. He sees Kiena surrounded by and ocean of men asking her to the festival. She frantically tries to get away but they don’t let her escape. She sees Ruuke and she gets a smile on her face. Ruuke jumps on a building and then jumps toward Kiena, she holds up her arms and he grabs her and carries her to the top of the council hall.
“Th-thank you Ruuke that was getting scary…” she said with a face of gratitude.
“No problem…” he says looking off into the village with chakra eyes glowing.
“Huh? Ruuke…what’s on your mind?” she says concerned.
“Well I was…umm gunna ask you to the festival…but…I don’t think you would want to go because you’ve been asked all day…” He says looking down.
Kienas face fills with joy and she blushes a little, “O…of cores I will go with you Ruuke, I’ll go get ready” She quickly runs home. Ruuke watches her while she jumps from house to house.
“Damn you ruuke!” said a voice. Ruuke looks he sees Kay Nizuma. He had black hair and black eyes; He was pretty muscular, He always wore a necklace with a dragon on it, He had a black shirt, with a long sleeved sweatshirt over it, his pants were also black. He had his Headband as a wrist band.
“Oh hello, Kay” Ruuke said in an uninviting voice.
“It should have been me she would be going to the festival with, not some blind bastard. God why she chose to go with you I’ll never know.”
“Maybe because I don’t try to grab her butt every time I get a chance!”
“Pshh, no girls love it when I do that”
“And how has that worked out for ya?”
“Well…uhh…not so well….”
“Yeah I’m gunna go while you ponder that!”
“Nehh!”
Ruuke then runs off to home to get ready. Maci was studying in her room when Kiena got back. Kiena ran into Maci’s room to tell her the news. Maci was thrilled that she was going with her brother, but sad since no one had asked her yet. She then decided to walk around the village, maybe someone would ask her out then.
Maci got to the village and started to walk around the market place. No one seemed to notice her until she herd a voice, “HEY MACI WHATS UP?” Maci looks and she sees tai-lee.
Tai-lee always wore a tank top pink and a small shirt also pink with short like fishnets, she had 2 wrist bands that were always on; they were pink, like a really hot pink. Basically her whole ensemble was pink. She had her hair in a braded pony tail, on one of her arms there was just a pink poofy band and on the other is her head band.
“Oh hey Tai-lee, what’s up?”
“HEY! I asked you that!”
“Oh” Maci asks a little bit, “I’m good, but no one has asked me to the festival yet.”
“Oh that stinks! I was asked a while ago by Tao”
“Oh that’s good for you, but I always though that Tao was a beef cake!”
“Yeah but that’s what I love! It makes me feel safe!”
“Well at least you feel safe right?”
“Yeah, well I got to go Maci; I got to pick out a dress!”
“Ok bye Tai-lee” Maci waves goodbye and Tai-lee runs back to her house.
Maci walks down the street and she sees Kay and she blushes and tries to hide. ‘He’s coming…he…he’s coming…what to do…WHAT TO DO!!’ she says in her mind. Kay sees her.
“Hey Maci, what’s up?”
“No-nothing…Kay”
“So anyone ask you yet?”
Maci starts to blush, “N-no…”
“Hmmm…” Kay said thinking, to him self.
‘Is. is he going to ask me…IS HE GOING TO ASK ME!!’ she yells in her mind.
“Yeah me too” he said
Maci falls over.
“Ummm yeah, well I gotta go” Kay walks away.
‘Aww…man…’
Maci gets up and pats her self down, she looks up to see where the sun was and sees it was almost sun down. She starts to head back to the house with a glum look on her face, she so wanted to go with someone, even more so Kay but she didn’t have the chance….
Maci arrives at the house and sees Ruuke waiting for Kiena in his best clothes, an over coat that was black, a plain white shirt on and his best pair of black pants. Ruuke hears her foot steps.
“Hey is that you Maci? You got a hot date tonight?”
“Shut-up Ruuke, I’m going to bed!”
Ruuke learned at a very young age that if you mess with Maci when she’s sad or angry, you will get hit, so he just said Ok and let her go. Kiena passes her in the hall; she was wearing a shiny dress that was almost skin tight but still loose, she had some small earrings on and had her hair up in a bun with the fan as it always was.
“Hey Maci, Do you have a date tonight?”
“…no…” she replies with tears in her eyes.
“Oh Maci…” Kiena hugs Maci to comfort her, “You should come with me and Ruuke, you deserve to have some fun, and you have been studying so hard, you need this time”
Maci just nods and goes to get dressed. Kiena goes back to walking to Ruuke. Ruuke Uses his chakra eyes to see better.
“You look beautiful tonight Kiena”
Kiena blushes, “Th-thank you Ruuke”
“So shall we go?”
“No…We have to wait for Maci, she didn’t have a date so…I thought that maybe she could come along, is that alright Ruuke?”
“Oh yeah that’s fine Kiena”
Maci walks slowly down the stair. She was wearing a gray dress that was cut so her left leg showed a little, her hair was in a pony tail, and she had small earrings on.
“Ok, lets go guys!” said Rukke eagerly.
Man...
My dad broke up with his gf and of corse, it was MY FAULT! She broke up with him because I am not Literate in the "social graces". I CAN FUCKIN' LEARN!! JEZ CHIST!!!

Feels depressed T.T
Well I just feel depressed. I guess I feel like rachels LAST choice to call when she needs people. I guess that should be expected since I've only known her for about 2 years but It doesnt really matter. My feelings are but a Speck of dust to ...well anything. Im not really extremely important to anyone, you guys on her can live with out me for a while, Im not a huge influence to you all. Im just a dude that gose to school, talk to friends but quickly gets ignored. Im not important to my friends lives and I just need to exept that fact, most of my friends Ive only known for only 3 years or so, its a fact that I must exept... Comments (4) |
