Chapter 1! I gotta warn you, its pretty long
Chapter 1
“The Girl with Sorrow in her eyes”
“*Sighs* this is such a boring mission!” Naruto says walking through the Village Hidden in the Ash, along with Hinata and Kiba, “What is it again?”
“Lord Hokage said we are to go to the Village Hidden in the Ash and help a team” Kiba said.
“Oh yeah…hey Hinata what’s that?”
“O-oh umm its…something, I made for you.” Hinata said blushing and handing over a decorated rice ball.
“Thanks Hinata” he eats it, “You’re a great cook Hinata, and you really know the way to a guy’s heart”
‘I know a way to your heart…Naruto’ she says in her mind, blushing more and smiling.
They arrive at a Forest, on the sign it says ‘Forest of Spirits’, after they read it they hear a Large scream. They get completely terrified because the scream…was right in front of them.
“Umm, Kiba we don’t really have to go in there do we?” Naruto said with his knees shaking.
Kiba tries to suppress the terror, “SUCK IT UP NARUTO! Lord Hokage said that we need to do this mission, so if we want to finish this mission then we need to go in this…forest and…find the teams…home…”
They slowly walk through the forest, Naruto scared but fine, just looking around slowly to not get too startled, Hinata with her arms in front of her chest also slowly looking around, and Kiba just fine but inside still pretty scared. A voice saying, “Help us!” comes by Hinata startling her, so she grabbed the closest thing too her, Naruto’s arm.
“It’s ok Hinata, don’t worry there just ghosts.”
“O-oh I’m sorry Naruto” she says letting go of his arm.
“Oh it’s ok Hinata you can hang on if you’re scared, I’ll protect you!”
Hinata looks at Naruto for a bit and blushes, and then softly grabs his arm. Kiba looks at them. ‘Sigh, they make me miss tani more and more…even though there not together’ (Tani is a girl from one of my friends’ stories). Kiba looks into the woods and sees a huge rock with a lot of light shined upon it pretty far off. On it he sees a girl looking at something, she looks at him, and she has a tracker ninja mask on, concealing her face. Kiba then blinked, and when he looked again…she was gone. ‘Must have been a ghost’ he thought to himself. They finally get too a huge mansion.
“This is the place” Kiba says.
The mansion was big, and very beautiful. While admiring the large place the gate starts to open, they walk in. Then see a lady in front of them.
“Hello everyone” the lady says to the three.
“Hey I’m Naruto Uzumaki”
“Hello, my name is Hinata Hyuuga”
“And im Kiba Inuzuka, and my dog Akamaru is sleeping in my bag, it was a long trip. You don’t mind dogs do you?”
“Oh no, not at all I love puppies!”
Akamaru jumps out of the bag, “Aww how cute!” the lady pets him, “He’s so cute and very strong aren’t you!” “Bark, bark” Akamaru barked in a pleasant tone.
“Um, can you tell us your name?” said Kiba
“Oh yeah I forgot! Hello my name is Sioshi Fubuyashu. Im the sensei of the team you came to help.”
“Cool, so what’s the mission?” Naruto asks.
“Oh more on that later, how about some tea?”
“Sure” Kiba said. “RUFF!” barked Akamaru
“Thank you, that sounds good.” Hinata said
“Um, do you have any raman?” asked Naruto rubbing the back of his head.
“Oh sure, tones” Sioshi said
“WOO HOO!” yelled Naruto jumping with excitement.
They came to a kitchen, not very large for this big house, but still very cozy. They sit at a table while Sioshi prepares the tea and raman.
“Hey Sioshi sensei, do you have like full blown ghosts that look solid?” asked Kiba remembering the girl on the rock.
“Well this is the Forest of Spirits…but I’ve lived in this forest for most of my life and I have never seen a fully formed spirit, why do you ask?”
“Well, while we were walking here I saw this girl in a mask on a rock looking at something.”
“Is this rock really illuminated?”
“Yeah”
“…that’s the rock that one of my student’s parents was buried…” Sioshi said looking down, “come to think of it today is the 10th anniversary of there death”
“That’s so sad” Hinata said looking down, “How did they die… I mean if it’s ok to ask that is.”
“Its fine, first you have to know the whole story. My students name is Kiena Yammtono, part of the most powerful clan in this village there the wielder of the Kekkei Genkai Shiakugan, she’s 13 years old, she lost her parents when she was 3.”
“Shiakugan?” asked Naruto with a confused look on his face.
“It’s kind of like the Kekkei Genkai Hinata has but it’s a cross between 3 different clans, and a little more powerful.” explained Kiba.
“Oh…” Naruto said…still confused a little bit.
“AS I WAS SAYING! Her father was greatly loved throughout the village, and her mother was a descendent from the former head of the clan, she was a fraternal twin with her brother who was born a couple seconds before her, so he was made the head of the clan. Her mother was also greatly loved through the village, when Kiena turned 3 there was a fire at their house, Kiena was the only one who survived. So every year on this day it’s a Happy…and very sad day. It’s an anniversary of her birth and the death of her parents. The thing she’s looking at was a picture of them, though mostly burnt…its all she has of them.”
Sioshi then looks up and sees Naruto and Kiba looking down and Hinata a little teary eyed.
“Oh I’m sorry, didn’t mean to bring down the house.” Sioshi said rubbing the back of her head.
“Its fine” Naruto said
“Yeah it’s ok” Kiba said after, while Hinata just nodded.
“So where are your other students Sioshi sensei?” asked Naruto.
“There out getting groceries,” there were steps in the next room, “Oh that must be them now.”
The 2 steps were a guy and a girl; he was wearing his headband around his neck, the boy had black hair long covering his eyes, his eyes were gray in color, he was wearing a black short sleeved cover shirt open with green edges, a black t-shirt under it, and a pair of dark gray pants; the girl had black hair in a pony tail, she had black eyes, her headband was also around her neck, she had a long sleeved shirt gray in color, and a skirt that went down to her knees also gray, and around her neck was a necklace with a purple crystal on it.
“This is Ruuke Tokino and Maci Tokino”
“Hello yup that’s my Maci!”
“What ever”
‘Uh...He’s almost like Sasuke!' Naruto thought.
“Guys this is Naruto Uzumaki”
“Hey!”
“Kiba Inuzuka”
“What’s up?”
“And Hinata Hyuuga”
“N-nice to meet you”
“Guys I just finished making some tea sit down and Ill get you some” said Sioshi.
“Ok sensei” said Maci while Ruuke just sat at the table.
Naruto Started to get annoyed because Ruuke reminded him so much of Sasuke.
“Hey dude, your eyes are funky colored, why?” asked Naruto dumbly
When he asked that everyone fell out of the stupidity, except for Ruuke.
“It’s because my Brother is blind, numb-scull!” said Maci annoyed.
“Oh…then how is he a ninja because he cant see, how can he fight?”
“It’s because there are other ways to see with out your eyes, loser” said Ruuke, drinking his tea.
‘Yeah, sure and I’m the richest person in the world!’ Naruto said in his mind with an angry look on his face.
“Ok stop fighting you 2!” yelled Sioshi.
“Ok…” said Naruto. Ruuke didn’t say any thing, he just when and drunk his tea.
After a while Sioshi made more raman for everyone, of course Naruto went for seconds and thirds, and even fourths.
“We should check on Kiena, quick Maci get out the cake!” said Sioshi.
“Yes, ma’am!” she said.
“Ruuke you go get Kiena”
“Yes sensei” he said.
“Uhh, shouldn’t you send Maci to get her Sioshi sensei? I mean what in Ruuke runs into something while going up there” Naruto said.
“Oh don’t worry about Ruuke; he Knows this place like the Darkness in his eyes!”
“Oh…”
After a while they light the cake, when they start to hear foot steps going down the stairs they start to sing happy birthday when Kiena walks in with Ruuke. Naruto and Kiba stop singing because she is devastatingly beautiful. Black hair in a bun on the back of her head held bye a fan, from the bun still a little tail falls from it, her eyes beautiful and green, she was wearing a cover shirt kind of like Ruukes, just shorter from the waist up, red with orange edges, a long sleeved red-orange shirt with rings at the elbows, under the shirt was a shirt of metal fishnet, her head band was wore around her waist, a cloth with fire on it draped from under it, a mini skirt and short pants under it, both a dark red, with fish net leggings.
“H-hello everyone, my name in Kiena Yammtono, Thanks for singing for me” she says with a smile, but in her eyes…sorrow for what this day also meant….
