   Another game.
Yesterday, my brother unexpectantly bought me Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II. What's really amazing is that it was only for about $30 CAD at FutureShop, but about $50 CAD everywhere else. It amazes me how fast FutureShop lowers the prices of games.

In about a week, the two games that I've been waiting for will come out! But the two games together costs about $140 CAD, so I'm gonna have to sell some games to Electronic Boutiques for store credit to lower the price.

Has anyone here watch 'The Grave of the Fireflies' before? My sister got it, but I'm not really into watching it. But she also got 'Princess Mononoke' as well, so I'm gonna watch that. Has anyone here watched 'Slayers'? I've watched some Chinese dubbed version of it a long time ago.

Well anyways, I'm gonna go now. Talk to you later!

One of the worse dubbed anime IMO!
One of the worse dubbed anime IMO!
Today, I was looking around the net for good Shaman King site. To my surprise, I found a site with the changes from the Japanese version to the English version. And I must say, the people that dubbed it must be absolutely wussies. So many of the names have been changed from cool to stupid. Example, Tao Ren was changed to Len or Lenny, totally losing the Chinese feel of the name, and not to mention Tao Jun was changed to June. And then Horo Horo is dubbed a horrible name of Trey. I don't know whether to laugh at the stupid dubbing, or cry at how they ruined Shaman King. When an anime is so poorly dubbed, it pisses me off. At least the manga in Shonen Jump is more truer to its Japanese names.

Another poorly translated manga that has been brought to my attention is Naruto. For some reason, they started calling each of the ninja villages 'Hiding-in-(insert village)'. And then the names of the attacks are fairly lame as well. At least the names of the characters remain unchanged for the most part.

Sorry if this rant had bored you, but the English dubbing REALLY pissed me off.

   Oh yeah!
Booyah, school starts for me on September 7! That means that when I get my two PS2 games on September 1, I have about 6 days to play like mad. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with two teachers that I could live with.

Well to those that have already started school, good luck and have a good year.

To those that are still waiting for school to start, enjoy the last of this summer.

I'm gonna go now so see ya later!

   I'm having fun!
Wow, in two days, I've got enough stuff to keep me occupied till school starts. On Monday, my brother took my aunt and I to the local mall to get some stuff. Lucky for me, my brother got me the StarCraft BattleChest. That game is awesome! If anyone here plays StarCraft U.S. West, PM me! Then my brother found Dead to rights for $17(CAD) and got that as well. Then yesterday, the Black Mages CD that my sister ordered for me came! That CD is AWESOME! It's highly recommended for anyone that likes the Final Fantasy battle music.

Well, I'm gonna go back to playing my StarCraft, so till next time!

   The third part.
Here is the concluding third part to my fanfic. Hope you like the ending!

---A Lady's Wrath
Elric walked over to the defeated Ruby...

"Do you admit defeat Ruby?" asked Elric, grinning.

"Yes..." said Ruby in reply.

"Hahahahaha... how interesting. Now I'll forgive you for this if you say that I'm a better fighter than you." said Elric, now laughing arrogantly. Elric had to punish those that dare to hurt his sweetheart.

"Elric, you are a superior fighter to me..." said Ruby emotionlessly, "NOT!" At that instant, Ruby suddenly became a mass of slithering vines, holding each of his six swords down firmly.

"WHAT?! What is the meaning of this?!" screamed Elric in disbelief. The loser Ruby in front of him is now nothing more than an illusion, covering a mass of vines controlled to look like the real Ruby.

"Over here big boy... hehehehehahahaha..." boomed Ruby's voice from behind. The storm of leaves that Ruby summoned was a distraction, a medium for which Ruby would hide in. Then from the swirling leaves, Ruby emerged and dashed towards the surprised Elric, lashing her whip out, catching Elric around the neck, knocking him on to his back.

"So, where's that laugh now huh? Not so tough now are we? Hmhahahahahaha... Do you admit defeat?" Ruby asked, pinning Elric down with her right foot.

"Y..yes..." Elric reluctantly said. His pride now was crushed.

"How dare you mock Elric like that?! I'll get you for this!" screamed Lillia, grabbing a nearby metal pipe.

"No Lillia! A loss is a loss. As a man of honour, I will accept this defeat. But be warned Ruby, the next time we meet again, it will be you that is going to be admitting defeat... Lillia, let's go..." said Elric, slowly getting up. Lillia helped Elric into his car, quickly driving away, trying to forget the embarassment faced here.

"Well that's that. Come along now Selena, I believe that pair of pants in waiting for me." Ruby, said, changing back into her normal clothes.

"Yes, let's go." Selena said with a smile, walking back to the mall for more shopping.

---The End

Well that's the end of my three part short story fanfic. All comments and criticisms are welcome!

   The XXVIII Olympiad
Yesterday was the opening of the Athens 2004 summer Olympics. Unfortunate for me, I didn't realise it till my mom called me to watch the opening ceremonies. But wow, the opening ceremonies were amazing. The floats that depict the historical time periods in Greece were amazing. All the people on the floats were dressed and painted to look like real sculptures, and indeed they look like them. It was an amazing opening.
Then the Parade of Nations was incredibly long. Over 200 nations were participating, and it took about 2 hours to get through them all. The most interesting thing about the parade was that the countries came out in alphabetical order of the Greek alphabet.
So for the next two weeks or so, I'll be cheering on Canada!

   The second part.
Here is the second part of my short story fanfic!

--- A Lady's Wrath (continued.)
"Now it begins!" said Elric, as his six swords floated beside him, acting as a shield.

"Clever trick, but it takes more than that to stop me!" Ruby said. With that, Ruby giggled, formed a pink rose bud in her hands.

"How will you counter this, Elric?" asked Ruby, grinning. Then, she blew at the rose bud, causing its outer petals to fly off and a pink dust to scatter. As more and more of the pink dust were scattered, the foggier and foggier the air became.

"What is this Ruby?!" yelled Elric nervously, trying to clear the pink fog.

"Nothing... hahahahahahaha!" laughed Ruby, which is slowly approaching Elric hiding in the fog. Being the conjurer of this technique, she could easily see through the thick fog, but to any one else, it is a thick blanket of pinkness that obscure their vision.

Circling from a safe distance, Ruby began to struck out with her whip. Just as it was about to strike its target, Elric unsheathed his own silver sword to parry Ruby's blow while the other six swords scrambled to protect its master.

"Not bad for someone to be under my Rosey Dream technique. But it's gonna take more than that!" Ruby said.

"Time for me go on the offensive!" said Elric, "Golden Sand!" At that command, his six swords dived underground. Then the six swords sprung up from the ground, releasing a shower of gold coloured sand. Ruby noticed that when the sand touched her, it glowed a magnificent yellow.

"What is this?!" exclaimed Ruby surprised. The golden sand was glowing so much that Elric was able to detect her position.

"My little trick. If I cannot see you normally, then I shall change that! Now that I can see you, this is gonna be fun!" said Elric triumphantly. He began to dash towards the glowing figure, his sword ready to strick. Just as he was about to strike Ruby, she sidestepped and splitted into five other figures.

"WHAT?! WHAT IS THIS?!" whispered Elric, now panicking. He frantically looked around at the six figure that has surrounded him.

"Hehehehehehe... I'm not that easy to be defeated." snickered Ruby. Then all Ruby and her duplicates began to slowing circle Elric, sending him into even more panic.

"This won't do... COME BACK!" said Elric, as his swords came back to his side. Sweat began to build on his forehead, slowly dripping onto the ground below. He struggled to think up an idea, as his swords revolved around him, each blade pointing outwards, ready to strike.

"Come on now, this is getting me bored..." grumbled Ruby.

"Fine then! Autumn Flutter!" commanded Elric. The six swords then began to fly towards the six Ruby's, moving like if real swordsmen were wielding them. But the swords were of no match for Ruby's agility, as she dodged each strike.

Elric stood in the middle of the fighting, still struggling for an idea. After a while, he realized that his six swords were of no match, and recalled them avoiding further use of energy to command them.

Then to his amazment, the six Ruby clones divided, into twelve. Each of them bared their nails and leaped at Elric. The six swords were only able to cut down six of them, and six remained ready to strike Elric.

"DAMN!" yelled Elric. He swung his silver sword with all the energy he had left, and amazingly cut all six of the ruby clones! But something was not right, he felt like if he was just cutting through air. Then the pink fog lifted, revealing that the six figures he just cut down was just a mirage.

"WHAT?! WHERE ARE YOU RUBY?!" scream Elric, his face now red with anger.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What a fool! That is definitely a sight to remember!" said Ruby.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!" yelled Elric, now shaking in anger.

"Why I'm up here!" said Ruby, standing at the top of the building. She leapt down, ready to finish off the fight. The six swords attempted to fly at her, but Elric called them back. She landed, and said, "Wasn't my Deep Red Illusion great?"

"You shall not decieve me again Ruby!" growled Elric, fighting to keep his anger down.

"Oh really?" mocked Ruby,"But enough talk! Have at you!" With her last word spoken, she started to run at Elric.

"My pleasure!" replied Elric. He pointed his sword at Ruby, and the six swords flew at her. Just when it looked like if the swords were about his impale Ruby, she vanished in a swirl of leaves.

Elric recalled his swords as he looked around for Ruby. Behind him, Ruby summoned a storm of leaves, and began to circle around Elric. Elric once again sent forth his six swords, but was ensnared by thick vines that sprung from the ground.

"Spirits of the forever green come to me.
Aid me in the my victory before thee!" chanted Ruby. At that instant, vines began to sprout everywhere. All the vines started for Elric, but his six swords broke free and halted the advance of the vines.

Elric began to chant something under his breath, and soon, his six golden swords grew double its size, and destroyed all the vines, leaving Ruby exposed.

Ruby panicked, as the six swords flew at her. Ruby tried to run, but the six swords now easily caught up to her, and knocked her down. The swords then circled around her neck and tightened, acting like a shackle.

Elric walked over to the defeated Ruby... To be continued.
---

Stay tuned tomorrow for the final part!

   My short stories!
Beginning now, I'm gonna periodically post short stories featuring the characters in the profiles that I've created. I hope you all like it! Here's the first one!

--- A Lady's Wrath
Today is the day of the major sale at the local fashion store. Ruby, always wanting to buy more clothes couldn't pass up this opportunity to expand her wardrobe. So she called Selena over and headed to the mall for her little shopping spree.

It was hectic at he mall, waves and waves of people were walking about, looking for items to shop. Ruby shoved her way through the crowd with Selena lazily following behind.

"Do we had to go through the crowd? Can't we wait till the crowd thins out?" groaned Selena.

"Of course not! If I wait, all the nice clothes will be taken. I cannot be wearing the cheap stuff left behind!" shouted Ruby over the the crowd. She finally made it into the store and began to search through the piles and piles of clothes.

Then she found a pair of lovely pants, and began to walk off to find more items, unknowing that another person is holding the same pair of pants that she is.

"Hey! These are mine! Get your own!" said Ruby to the other person, unaware that she is screaming at the girlfriend of someone she knows...

"Give those back you hog! I saw them first1" yelled back the other girl. She and Ruby both struggled to obtain that pair of pants. When it seems that the tug-of-war was even, Ruby slapped the other woman across the face, finally getting the pair of pants.

"HOW DARE YOU?! ELRIC! ELRIC GET IN HERE!" schreech the girl.

"What!? Elric?" asked Ruby. Elric and Ruby were long time rivals since they were in elementary school. But they were separated when Ruby moved.

"What's going on Lillia?" asked a man emerging from the crowd.

"THIS ***** SLAPPED ME ELRIC!" screamed Lillia, pointing to Ruby.

"Excuse me... Is that you Ruby?!" said Elric surprised.

"So what if I am?" said Ruby casually.

"How dare you touch my Lillia's face! If I weren't a highly gentleman, I'd slap you!" yelled Elric.

"Bring it! Come on, let's take this outside then... unless you're scared?!" said Ruby mockingly. At this point, Selena finally weaved her way through the crowd, but decided to not get involved in another of Ruby's fights.

"As much as I hate to hurt a lady, but I must teach you a painful lesson!" said Elric, accepting Ruby's challenge. Ruby placed the pair of pants on the cashier and menacingly said that she'll be back for it.

Outside in the expansive parking lot, Ruby and Elric stood face to face as Lillia and Selena watched from the side lines.

"I will not go easy on you Ruby. Not after you've hurt my dear lady!" said Elric.

"All the better, but don't expect this to be easy!" said Ruby in reply. At that, both Elric and Ruby leaped backwards in the empty parking lot. Elric, being the gentleman that he is, he gestured to Ruby "ladies first".

"This is your mistake!" whispered Ruby, as she snapped her fingers, summoning a huge rose to engulf her. As the rose petals wrapped around Ruby, Elric placed his hand to the ground, muttering a chant. Then the rose bud exploded sending Ruby in her battle attire flying at Elric, brandishing her whip. Just as she was about connect with her whip, six golden sword flew up and blocked the whip. Then Elric stood up, now in his battle outfit.

"Now it begins!" said Elric, as his six swords floated beside him, acting as a shield. To be continued...
---

This all takes place in present modern day just so you all know. I'll post the second part tomorrow. All comments and criticisms are welcome! Don't be afraid to give me a negative comment, because negative comments (as long as they are constructive) helps me improve!

   Hikaru no Go
Do any of you read or watch Hikaru no Go? It is one of my favourite mangas despite the fact its based on something that is not action based! My question is that do real Go players really hold the stones the way they do in the manga? Selena thinks its stupid, but I think it looks classy and professional. What do you think?

   Tiring day it was yesterday...
Holy crap, yesterday was like torture. It was Sunday so I had to attend the Buddhist religious service. But the problem was that I was soo tired, it felt like torture. We had to either stand or kneel while keeping our hands in prayer(palms together). And then it happens so that today we had a new religous text to go through, and I guess the master didn't entirely know how to go through it, so there was some long periods of silence which almost made me doze off. Then after that, my mom and I went to my local mall to get the new issue of Shonen Jump and PSM. I was still very tired then still. So then when my mom was at the cashier, I went to sit on a nearby bench, and closed my eyes. I think it was then that I dozed off, and when I woke up, my mom was gone, so I went to get the Shonen Jump, thinking she already left. Then when I came home, to my surprise she still not home yet. Then while reading my Shonen Jump, I dozed off into a 5 hour nap. Then I had dinner, showered, then slept. Now I feel much better now!
