Chronicle Dark
Chapter 3
“Kimari-sempai, where are we?” Kari asked me.
“At the gate to the underworld. This is where the Ebony Emerld resides. We should proceed with caution,” I told her. We found our way to the main entrance. It was a rock. I created a portal to the other side and we walked through. As we began to go down a long shaft it got darker and darker. We were finally let out into what looked like a river.
“What is this place?” I asked outloud.
This be the river styx, a voice said.
“Who are you?” Kari asked.
I am the one who allows safe passage through, it said. We then noticed a boat with a skeleton in it.
“You are the boat man right?” I asked
Yes. I am. And if you wish to get to the other side I need something from you both,he said.
“No thanks, we'll take the high way. Fennikkusu no Justu: Wings of the Phoenix!” I grew a pair of jet black wings. I picked up kari and we took of. A few seconds later we were infront of a throne room.
“Well this is unexpected. Shall we go in?” Kari asked.
“OK,” I said throwing the doors open.
“You should always nook before entering someones home. Especially if your not a friend,” a different voice called out.
“Damn who is it now?” I asked.
“Well since this is the underworld I think it may be Hades,” Kari said.
“Don't forget about my wife. She is here as well. Now what brings you to my domain?” Hades asked.
“We came for the Ebony emerald. I belive you have it. May I please take it to complete my mission?” I asked him
“Hmmmm. Well since you asked so nicely you may have it,” Hades said.
I looked at him dumbfounded. “Really?” I asked.
“Yes. As soon as you stop her from stealing it,” Hades said pointing at Kari. I looked over. She was gunning for the stone. I grabbed her shadow.
“What are you doing, Kari-san?” I asked her coldly.
“So you know about me huh?” she said looking back at me.
“I had you figured out a long time ago. I was just waiting for you to make a move,” I proclaimed.
“Well then. I guess I shouldn't disappoint you. RYUU YUUKU!!” (dragon fear)” she yelled. This was a transformation I had known was coming. her body was wrapped in a black ora of hate and lonlyness. I could feel this overwhelming sadness and fear come over my body. It was frightning. And I'm the Phoenix of darkness. I should have writen the book on fear. Her transformation was finished. I felt like I was staring straight into a darkness that not even I could control. This frightning power. What fuels it?
“My power is fuel by the malice, hate, pain, rage, fear, and envy of every human on the planet. Nut because that is too many, you can call me the dragoness of fear,” she said with a smirk on her face. I agreed whole heartedly. Her power was more then I could phathem. That was true darkness.
“Are you afraid?” she asked.
“I think I pissed my pants a few minutes ago. But I'm not afraid,” I said.
“Fine then. Lets see how long you last,” she said. She unleashed a demonic blade filled to the brim with fear and hate. Unleashing an evil more frightening then your darkest fears.
“Ready?” she asked
