Yay! Alcohol! -->(*underage*)
Heh. Xio and I have been saying that quote all day. And its all thanks to Saiyuki! Yay for Saiyuki! Yay for Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo and Hakkai!
What can I say about the reception? It was...fun. To an extent. I'd say the best thing about it was when my step-grandfather gave Blaike and Robin marshmallow guns. Then, everytime the people around the room would beat on the tables and force my mom and Lonnie to kiss both Blaike and Robin would shoot marshmallows at them. It was hilarious, especially when Lonnie started throwing them back at us.
Then we had a marshmallow fight outside. We also had a little treasure hunting expedition. We (Xio and I) went around the field near the hall* and picked up clay pidgeons.
*the hall was a Sportmans Club so there were clay pidgeons all over outside.
Then once we had collected a decent amount* we had a little demolition spree and chucked them all back out into the field. *decent amount being about ten or so armfuls of clay pidgeons.
We left early. Sort of. We (Xio and I) just came back from the reception because we were extremely bored. *yawns* But before we left, my cousin Jasmin and Xio forced me to sing "Hold On" by Good Charlotte with them. Lonnie wanted to sing with us, too, but we wouldn't let him.
Oh my. So many people there were more than drunk. It was quite humorous to see all of the drunks try to sing karaoke, too.
*grins* Yay! I got to watch One Piece this morning! Yay for One Piece! Yay for Luffy and Zoro! And yay for Nami! I want to buy the next volume of the One Piece and the next volume of Case Closed! Argh! I wish I had more money! Then I want to read the next volume of Saiyuki!
Oh! I know! I'll read One Piece online! Yay for Shonen Jump's online manga! I tried reading Naruto online there but it skipped chapter 9! It went from 8 to 10! I was so pissed off! I wanted to read more Naruto too! And every time I go to Sam Goody in Mt. Pleasant, they never have Naruto volume 2! They have 1, 3, and 4! Every single time! Gah, it makes me so frustrated!
Anyway, I think I'm done talking for today. But lets all just give one more shout out:
Yay for Saiyuki!
Yay for One Piece!
Yay for Case Closed!
And yay for Naruto!!!

Here comes the bride...
Shinmaru, but isn't it a normal custom in some cultures to be greeted with a gun to the head?
Its not? Oh...er, right.
I know the background doesn't tile well. I've been trying to get it to stay put so it doesn't tile, but I keep forgetting to PM the people I know who have done it on their sites because no matter what I do I just can't get it to stay. >.>
Anyway, short post today. Very short post... I've got about 5 more minutes before I have to head off to Jumpstart, which I probably wont be in for too long because I'm going to be picked up so I can go back home and get ready for the wedding.
I got a pretty nice outfit to wear. I'm quite satisfied with how it looks. Its dressy, but not too dressy. I even picked it all out of the girls section of the store lol.
I got to talk to most of my teacher's today and I now know that I will not be missing much in class so that's good. ^_^
Practice yesterday was fun, but quite exhausting. Especially since afterwards I got dropped off at Old Navy where my mom was shopping and I had to walk around store after store for about two hours. *rubs sore feet*
Xio gave me Case Closed during lunch just after she had finished it, heh. She also gave me Saiyuki this morning, yay!
What else... Oh yeah, I had to choose last night whether or not I wanted to go to school today. It was actually a pretty hard decision. But, in the end, I chose to go to participate in hat day ^_^ Blaike didn't go. He chose to skip school.
Bell just rang. Gotta go.

My American Hero
I just finished typing up My American Hero essay for English and got it approved by the teacher, yay!
So now I'm kind of messing around I guess. Actually, I finished typing it up about ten minutes ago, then I had to revise it a bit. I added a few more sentences because I was just short of the 500 word requirement. >.> Now I think its 530 some words now.
I'm still not done with One Piece. I almost am though. Alexa swiped Case Closed from me this morning and has been reading it. Xio asked if she could read it next and I told her she could, so I expect that back tomorrow.
Then I asked her if she'd bring me Saiyuki 1 either tomorrow or Saturday and she said she would.
Ah, tomorrow is the wedding. ^_^ And hat day at school. I'm going to wear my special snow hat! I wear it to every hat day. Its like my lucky hat; I used to wear it to the skatepark every time I went there and I wear it every winter no matter what I'm doing outside. Unless I'm hunting, then I wear my special orange hat lol.
I just need to remember to bring a quarter in so I can wear it, heh.
Hmm...I'm really bored. I have no idea what I'm going to do for another half hour...I guess I'll just kind of surf around, like I normally do. ^_^
Oh, yes, and I have soccer practice tonight, too. Fun fun ^_^

EDIT: I gave my site a little make over... I think I did pretty good. It didn't take me as long as some new layouts do, but this one was pretty simple, heh. |

Whee
I bought some manga today. I really, really, wanted to get Naruto volumes 2 and 3, but they only had 3 and 4 at the store. *dammit*
Instead, I bought One Piece volume 1 and Case Closed volume 1. I also bought Saiyuki volume 2 for Xio. I'm going to request from her that she let me borrow volume 1 of Saiyuki on Friday because I really want to read it.
Ah, tomorrow and Friday are very busy days. Tomorrow I have soccer practice and my mom has a million things that she has to do to get ready for her wedding on Friday and the reception on Saturday.
Yep, she and Lonnie are gettin' married this Friday and I get to skip part of school to go to the courthouse with 'em. They're not doing anything elaborate for their wedding; like I just said, they're just going to the courthouse and stuff. But the reception on Saturday is sounding quite large o_o; Atleast I got to invite Xio so I'll have someone there that I can be bored with lol.
Gah, I have to remember to talk with the four teachers whose classes I will miss on Friday (I'm leaving at around 11:30, so I'll miss my afternoon classes) and ask what I'll be missing that day. Three of the four I can remember to do tomorrow(two of them I'll have tomorrow, one is my Jumpstart teacher) but the fourth one I'll have to remember to talk to either before Discovery Language Arts or right after it...because I wont be near her classroom any other time of the day.
But, I probably wont be missing much in her class, so even if I do forget to talk to her, then it shouldn't be any big deal.
Math Club was awesome today. ^_^ And not just because there was candy(!) and pop and chips(!!), but, well, just because Math Club is always fun, heh.
*yawns* Well, I'm out of things to say. I think I'll visit a few sites, maybe comment(keyword: maybe) and then head off to bed where I shall read One Piece and maybe start Case Closed.

*hums*
I can't get that one song that Elle whistles in Kill Bill Volume 1. Its stuck in my head...
Anyway, I'm feeling much better today. I think my stomach was upset last night because I hadn't eaten anything since I'd gotten home from school, so I was kind of hungry. I made myself a turkey sandwhich and felt better after I had ate it. ^_^
I just got done with the work we had been assigned to do since class started, so now I'm just kind of messing around and waiting for the next work we're going to be assigned...
Math Club's tomorrow night. *grins* Actually, its Math/Science Club, heh. But they both go hand in hand so its easier just to call it Math Club. Its Math/Science Club, though, because we do algebraic equations and whatnot, and algebra has to do with science so, yeah.
I'm not really sure how many kids signed up this year. I know that Xio, Levi and myself have. But they're the only one's I know of. I sure hope a bunch of seventh graders didn't sign up for it...
I can't wait until Justin gets the new feature for fan submitted material all ready. I really want to edit a few things... But, what Justin and everyone else have done with the site so far is absolutely great.
My only complaint has been the number of ads on the pages. I know that the ads help pay for the site, but four ads on a page is quite a lot and they get in the way. Also, the ads that when you scroll over them, they kind of drop down onto the page are really annoying. *growls*
Cliche is going really well; despite the two people who had to drop out. But, that's ok. There are still enough people left in the RPG to make it really good.
Heh. My Social Studies teacher, Mr. Kraft, he knows about Rurouni Kenshin. Xio said that she told him that Rurouni Kenshin had a lot to do with Japanese history and he said that he'd heard of it. She asked him if he'd watched the show, but he said he hadn't.
Whee, I got a 48/50 on my biography! *dances around*
I feel...inspired. I don't know about what, but I just feel inspired. I think I'm going to draw when I get home...or write. I don't know. Either one. They both sound like fun.
I know! I'm going to go home and draw Scorpion from the Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star manga.
Yeah, that sounds like fun. ^_^
Well, I think I'll go surf around for a little while...

Can't stay awake...
I'm super tired right now. Not sure why... I think I took a half hour - an hour long nap a little while ago. I'm not sure about the validity of that statement though. I know that there's a certain part of the hours after I got home from school that I don't quite remember actually doing anything in, so I guess I must have fell asleep at one point.
I don't know how much I'll be able to write today. Its 11:19 PM right now, so I've only got a little while before my mom makes me get off and go lay down.
Math Club's starting up again. The first meeting's this Wednesday, so I'm pretty happy. I think quite a few people have signed up this year. I just hope that there are more 8th graders than 7th graders, heh. Like last year, lol.
*rubs stomach* My stomach's upset right now, too.... Maybe I am getting sick or something. That's what Lonnie asked me when he got home because I was laying half asleep on my bed. I told him that I felt fine, but now that I've took a shower I feel differently than I did earlier.
I haven't written anything in that Metal Gear story that I started writing, but I did start drawing it out in a comic after some inspiration to draw a comic. I don't know how much more I'll actually do before I stop drawing it and begin writing in it again, heh.
I almost thought that I might not get on tonight. My mom got home really late so I didn't get to ask her if I could get on, but she was willing to let me get on the internet this late. So I'm grateful.
Hmm... I think I'll check OB real quick and head off to bed.

Keep their heads ringin'
I just got back from my soccer game a minute ago. It was so much fun!
I played goalie the first half and blocked most of the shots. Only two got past me, but they were both really hard shots to block. They went in right next to the goal post, so if I had really tried to get them, I would have clonked my head right on the pole. Ouch.
Then during the second half I played defense first off. I blocked quite a few balls and only one got past me that made it to the goal and that was just a fluke. The forward and I had kicked the ball at the same time and it wrenched my knee backwards; the knee that always bugs me, so I completely lost my stature and the ball went into the goal because Kelsey(the other goalie) couldn't grab it in time.
After that I got a break and was then put in about ten minutes later as a forward.
By now, the score was tied at 4-4 and when I went in, I played my absolute best. With one minute left 'till the game was over, a pass was kicked in front of the goal. I rushed over to it, came to it from the right side and smacked it in with my left foot.
Yep, my left foot; my non-dominant foot. It pays to learn how to kick equally with both feet, you see. ^_^
Anyway, I haven't done much else so not much to talk about. I posted on Cliche last night(finally!). I wrote the post at about 4 AM so if its kind of poorly written, that's probably why.
Well, I think I'll head over to OB now, right after I visit everyone's sites.

EDIT: By the way, if you haven't noticed, I updated the Story Archive a few days ago, so go read it if you'd like. We're almost up to the part where my new writing style came in! w00t. |

Mount St. Helens Eruption
Gee, I must be really bored if I'm reading an article on how Mount St. Helens is expected to erupt again soon.
But, I guess I am kind of a science-y person, so it interests me to read about this stuff. Of course, I'm more interested in Astronomy. Its pretty easy to tell I am, every night that we're out riding home in the car and its dark, you can see me just staring out up at the sky. The stars and stuff just interest me; they're so magnificient and mysterious.
*grumbles something about "little brats"
My little step-sister is being a brat right now. She's yelling and screaming because she can't find her tights and Josie is just telling her calmly from her own room that they're in her drawer.
See, Josie works a night shift so she goes to work at around 10 PM(on most nights) and comes back at 5 AM in the morning. So, she has to sleep all day(or atleast take a few naps) and Brittanie, she bothers her mother all day long and doesn't allow her to get any sleep at all.
And this little incident a few minutes earlier, was just another one of those "Get up now, I don't care that you need sleep because I'm a selfish little brat."
It bugs me a lot because I can tell that that's the only reason why she's doing it. And then, you should see her when you take her into the store. God, its horrible. *shudders* And Josie always succumbs to her whining and buys her something.
I swear, the girl has enough toys and stuffed animals to, uh, well, she has a lot. A lot more than I had at her age. I probably didn't have as many as her, ever, in my entire life.
And, I discussed it with Josie once and she said that she's tried to get rid of some of the toys, but Brittanie just whines and whines saying that "she still likes that toy," or "she still plays with that," its annoying as hell, especially since the toys she's tried getting rid of, Brittanie never plays with.
School work = *thumbs down*
In about an hour I'm going over to my Grandma's house to interview her. And then after that I'll be back here, sitting at the computer, typing all of the information I gathered into a biography. >.> I hate school work. Especially school work like this.
And the thing is, is that I've done all of the kinds of work I'm getting right now before. Like, I wrote a hero essay in 4th grade, along with an autobiography of myself(but that project was much bigger than the biography paper I'm going to be writing today) in 4th grade(or was that 3rd...?).
I guess its kind of a good thing to be doing the same sort of projects again, since my writing and my vocabulary has expanded and changed a lot since then.
*snickers* Haha, my step-sister looks like such a dork. She's going to ballet. Something I would have expected; she's such a little girly-girl. Her entire room is pink, she has really girly clothes and toys and everything.
God, atleast when she's 12, I'll be 20 so I wont have to deal with her girly-girl personality as much, because I'll be away in college and I'll only see her on holidays.
*grins at the above statement* Oh, how I can't wait...
Well, I guess if I want to do that I'll have to choose a college that's quite a ways away from here, so I have a reason not to visit.
Gah, I can't believe she bugs me so much; but, I guess all little kids in general bug me. They're always following me, nagging at me, and they always just "take a liking" towards me, too.
Alright, well, I should get off now so I can take a shower...

*insert witty phrase here*
My three drawings are now up. I just finished voting for them and raised my rating a whole 1%, yay!
Oh man, school was so much fun today, it'd be too hard to talk about it all.
Lets just say that the phrase "Doom on you!" was used quite a bit and I got candy in Spanish(like usual =P)
I've talked it over with my Grandma and we're all set to go ahead with the interview tomorrow, which means I'll have pretty much all day to get the biography typed up, so wish me luck with that and if you don't see me on MSN, YIM, or AIM, that's probably what I'm doing.
Josie says she really might be getting Verizon DSL for me. She says she'll look into it after she's pays my Aunt Pam what she owes her for having NetZero(the bill for NetZero is sent to her house so if Josie doesn't pay her the ten dollars right away, then my aunt will pay it and Josie will pay her back later)
But, if we really do end up getting it, I will be so happy. I'll be so happy that I think I might...I don't know, but I'll be really happy *estatic grin*
MSN Messenger is on my mom's computer now. So the only people I can't talk to on a Messenger over there is the people who have YIM, heh.
So, if you see me on MSN during the week, it most likely is me (sometimes my dad gets on the internet over here and since I automatically get signed in here, then he'll be signed in under me and people will IM him, thinking its me, heh).
I plan on exploring theOtaku a bit more; I'm still getting accustomed to it since the change and I'd like to do a bunch of exploring so I can get used to it.
Alrighty, I think I'm going to check out everyone's sites and comment on some(not all, because, I mean, sometimes I just don't have anything to say, heh).

I hate nicknames.
Nicknames suck. I hate my nicknames. I despise them. I really, really do.
Lonnie and a few others in his family call me Kaylee. A girl on my soccer team calls me BigFoot (because I can kick so hard) and my mom tends to call me Princess Grace. >.>
But anyway, school was fun today. We had a debate during Social Studies(two actually) and we got to go online during Disovery Language Arts and vote in a poll at Scholastic.com for who we would want to vote for for President.
I really wish they had Nader on there...but they only had Kerry, Bush and Undecided on there.
Class was quite funny during D.L.A.(Discovery Language Arts) When Ms. Mott asked us who we wanted to vote for Xio, Emry, Levi, myself and a few other people all raised our hands and shouted Go Nader! All hail the Independent!
I also stated that if I could vote, I actually wouldn't vote for Nader unless I was absolutely sure he would win. I'd vote for Kerry instead.
Then, in our SCOPE magazines, since absolutely despise Bush *growls* I made him look freaky in all of the pictures of him in the magazine, heh.
Mmm. theOtaku:Redifined looks great. It was really worth the wait and Adam, Justin, James and whomever else worked on it did a great job, so, great job guys! It looks fabulous!
Ah, the weekend is finally almost here. I'm semi-excited; I'd be more excited if I wasn't going to be spending Saturday interviewing my Grandma and then going back to my dad's and typing up a freaking biography. *scowl*
I'm working on adding Anime's to my "Anime Watch List" right now. There are a lot of Anime's I want to add though. @_@
I borrowed Emry's Shonen Jump magazine today and read through the entire thing. I really liked it; especiall One Piece, that was hilarious!
I think the Manga's that I read were Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball Z, Naruto(last three chapters that were in the first graphic novel, so I'd already read it), One Piece, Shaman King, Yu-Gi-Oh and SandLand.
They were all really good and I was glad to be reading some new Manga.
Which reminds me, I need to finish reading the last three Cowboy Bebop manga's in my box set and the rest of Rurouni Kenshin v.1 and Rurouni Kenshin v.2, heh.
Oh, here's a thing I don't really like about Redifined: too many ads. I mean, way too many ads. Four different spots where ads are taking up page space. I really hate ads, they suck. They clash with pages and can ruin them entirely.
I can't wait 'till I get to go over to my dad's tomorrow, though. I've got three drawings I'd like to put up; two of Kakashi from Naruto and one of an original Naruto character(which I think I did pretty darn well on if you ask me, my classmates seem to think so to after snooping through my notebooks and looking at the pictures...)
