Ah, the joys of...HTML?!

Eh, yeah, that's all I could come up with for a title.

But, anyway...I've been looking over my website lately(well, I've had to do that a lot, considering I've been working on it a lot lately) and it hit me that ever since I took that first big step into using HTML to design my site, my site has looked much better, I've come up with many cool ideas and the best thing of all, I believe I've learned much more about HTML and how it works than I ever would have, had I not switched over to using Geocities' HTML Editor to design it. Plus, another bonus for having switched over to HTML for designing my site is that I don't have to deal with the annoyingness of Pagebuilder anymore. *curses Pagebuilder*

HTML seems to have enhanced my life. It makes me feel so powerful and intelligent knowing that I could/can design a website using simple table, font, img, and url tags. My website isn't high-tech or anything. There's no javascript involved, no! Its just a simple site that I put my time and small knowledge of HTML into, to produce what it is today.

Lately, with my website, I've been working on the extra pages. Such as, my Picture of the Week and Hentai Free, Contact, Credits, Fan Art, and Suggestions and Feedback pages. Now that those are all done, I plan on getting down to business. I must sit myself down and write the Anime pages, I mean, my site is TAD: The Anime Database. What is an Anime site without anything on Anime?

Once my site is finished(who knows when that'll happen, I get sidetracked real easy...) I plan on working on my forums. They're just so dull and boring. There hasn't been any activity there since June 8th. >_>

Visit it if you want.

TAD: The Anime Database

I would give you one of the shorter URL's but, I prefer the Geocities one because, the URL changes as you go through pages. The other one's don't. But I'm such a cheap bum that I can't afford a regular domain name. Maybe when I get a job. Which wont be for a year or two. Darn.

Oh well, later.

Kill Bill Volume 1

I just couldn't wait until tomorrow to talk about it. It was so awesome! And now, to implement my simple spoiler tag, which was stolen from Mimmi. =p

[Kill Bill Volume 1 was in my opinion one of the best movies of all time. I was absolutely astounded with how well done it was. It was absolutely amazing!

I was very pleased with the Anime scene explaining O-ren Ishii's past. The blood was intense and, to me, a little unbelievable at times but it was cool.

The movie also helped me better understand certain things from Kill Adam. I also found a few things they both had in common, such as Joshua not knowing that his son, Soju was still alive and the Bride not knowing that her daughter was still alive. A few other things, such as the scene where the Bride and Vernita Green are fighting and the Bride has a frying pan and Vernita has a knife. That scene really reminded me of when Arianna was attacking her boyfriend, Richard, with a frying pan while he attacked her with a knife.

I was very surprised when the movie ended. I thought for sure that there would be more, but, I guess I'll just have to go see Kill Bill Volume 2 in theatres. ^_^

Oh, what else can I say about the movie...what else...Well, I did think that the blood was a bit exaggerated at times, but, I guess I really wouldn't know, never having severed a man's head before or sliced off a woman's arm.

Ah, its strange y'know. Usually I forget the name's of characters after I watch a movie, but, oddly enough, I remember all of the Deadly Vipers(that's right, isn't it?). O-ren Ishii, Vernita Green, Elle Driver, and Budd(? I'm not sure on that one, I couldn't exactly read the paper all too well whilst she was writing it down).
]

Well, I think I'll watch it again later. It was such a great movie, that I just want to watch it over and over. But first, I must go and read Mimmi's thoughts on it. Later!

Hmm...

Well, I just finished reading Kill Adam: Volume 1. It was very good, even though it was very long and took me about 4-5 hours to completely read, give or take. It was very well written and everyone did a great job. ^_^

I'm thinking about signing up for Volume 2. I'm thinking very hard about it and I'll be able to think much better about it once I see Kill Bill! *holds up her trophy, her just rented Kill Bill: Volume 1*

*grin*

I figure I'll watch it later, after my step-sis and step-mom leave so I can watch it in peace without any interuptions. I'll attempt at giving my thoughts about it tomorrow as well.

Other than that, there's not much I really have to say. I guess I'll just surf around the internet for a little while longer, eat my tacos and stare at the Kill Bill DVD until I I'm alone and can watch the movie in peace.

Well, later.

Because I'm too lazy to think of a proper update...

I swear I saw somebody say that on their myO posts before. I can't remember exactly who it was, though, lol. But, today, I'm going to be stealing some quizzes from Shin's site. ^_^ Because I'm too darn lazy to think of a proper update, hence the subject of this post...

Basics

Age:: Twelve
Height:: Five foot three inches
Hair Color:: Medium brown
Eye Color:: Light brown

What's your school's mascot?: A Wolverine
School color(s)?: Red and White
G.P.A.?: 4.0
Who is your favorite teacher?: Mr. McPherson
What do they teach?: Multi Media Science 7/8, Discovery Science 7, Earth Science 8
Is this your favorite class?: Well, Multi Media and Discovery science was/(and because when school starts up again I wont be a seventh grader)were my favorite classes because they are total slack off classes, lol. I'm not sure about Earth Science, I guess I'll just have to wait until school starts back up.

Internet
Do you use any instant messengers?: Yeah.
If so, which ones?: MSN, YIM and AIM. MSN is my main IM and YIM is my secondary one. I only can use AIM at my mom's house and I don't get on the internet much over there so its really just my IM that I use to talk to people who don't have either MSN or YIM.
About how many hours a day do you spend online?: Uh, do I have to answer this:

Around 13 hours, give or take. >_> That's only when I'm at my dad's house though, when I'm at my mom's it's usually from around 0-2 hours.
Do you have a digital camera?: I wish.
If so, do you post pictures of yourself online?: I post pictures of myself online, but not with a digital camera. I have to scan the pictures I take after they've been developed.

Labels:
Do you think labels are dumb?: Eh, yes and no.
Why or why not?: Yes because people are obsessed with putting a label on everything and no, because if there weren't labels then we might not know what some things are, like barrels of nuclear waste! Without that 'Hazardous' symbol, we might think that it was...eh, something other than nuclear waste!
What do people label you as?: The intelligent, pessimistic, evil and cruel one...
How/Why did you get this label?: Well, because I am 1. Intelligent, 2. Pessimistic, 3. Evil, and 4. Cruel. Simple as that.

Which Is Worse?
Physical Pain/Emotional Pain?: Emotional pain. Physical pain goes away after a while (unless it's a permanent injury, of course), but emotional pain lasts far longer. Me agrees.
Blink-182/Good Charlotte?: Do I really have to choose? I like them both!
Being Deaf/Being Blind?: That's a tough one...I'd have to say being blind, because it'd be much tougher to live my life that way. Me agrees.
Being Bored/Rushing around because you have too much to do?: Rushing around. I despise rushing around.
Losing your dominant leg/Losing your dominant arm?: Losing my arm is worse because I can't write with my left arm >_>

Love
Do you believe theres a difference between "love" and "in love"?: No, not really.
Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?: Yeah, mostly because you at least come out of it learning something (hopefully lol).

Are you in a relationship now?: Nah.
If so, for how long?:
If not, how long have you been single?: Eh, since February 17th, 2003, lol.
What song describes your love life right now?: My December -Linkin Park (that's all I can think of at the moment)

Ranomosity
War - Good or Bad?: Neither. War is neither good nor bad. It all depends on your own personal opinion and point of view.
What do you think of designer labels?: Expensive.
Who's skankier - Britney Spears or Paris Hilton?: Neither. They're both equal in skankiness(is that a real word?).
What is it with guys and cars?: I'm not sure. Guys are...simple, yet, complex.
Do you sing?: Only if I know the lyrics to the song.
If so, what part (Soprano 1,Alto 2, et cetera)?:
Kiss or hug?: Either one is fine :o
What color is your room?: Blue at my mom's and white at my dad's.
How old is your mom?: Uh, 34, turning 35 on July 21st.
Black and white or color photos?: Just depends.
Who cuts your hair?: The hair stylist at whatever place has an opening for me to get my hair cut.
What color is your toothbrush?: White and purple.
What color is your hair brush?: Sky blue.
What kind of hair products do you use?: Shampoo, conditioner and on occasion, hair spray.
Is K-Mart just the poor man's Wal-Mart?: I don't care. Either one is fine with me.
Are you sexy?: Please refer to the 'Are you romantic?' question.
What color do people tell you looks nice on you?: ...that was a horribly constructed question. And I fixed it! Refusing to answer, though, lol.
What color do you think looks nice on you?: Black, white, green, and blue.
Clothes shopping or grocery shopping?: Neither. I'd much rather video game and Anime shopping. :D
Who do you sit with at lunch? Well, my friends Xio and Alexa of course.
Do you like the sound of your own voice when you hear it played back?: Hell no! I sound like a guy!
Who has the nicest speaking voice that you know?: Eh, no one that I know.
What is the website for one of your favorite bands?: I only go to those kinds of websites if I'm looking for an address so I can write to the band. :D
Do you prefer to date people younger, older, or the same age as you?: Same age, younger people tend to be immature and older people tend to be forceful and overpowering.
Do you listen to songs on repeat often?: Sometimes.
Who was the last person you hung out with?: Xio
What did you and that person do?: We played video games and watched movies. It was her birthday, y'know.
Do you use internet shorthand (i.e. "lol", "brb", "jk", et cetera)?: I only use lol, brb, j/k, wb, ty, np, omg, rofl, lmfao, and lmao. There might be a few more but, eh, it's not like I type like this: hi who r u? whats ur nam? will u b mi frend? ure so kool!!!!! will u b mi gurlfrend?
Are you a people-pleaser?: Eh.
Do you dye your hair regularly?: Nah, but I've been thinking about dying my hair black.
What about your eyebrows?: Once again, no.
Do you wear makeup?: Make-up is for girly-girls. I'll only occasionally wear make-up to hide my zits if they're bad and I'm going to some big public event. 0.0;;
If you answered "yes", to #96, are you female?: I'll get back to you on that once I count all of these questions and find out which one is #96.

Oh, but I am female. *lol*
Do you buy CDs edited or unedited?: Unedited, edited versions completely and horribly ruin the song.
Can you beatbox?: Yes I can beat boxes! *wacks a box with a large club*
Does your mom like the song "Hey Ya" by OutKast?: *nods* Heyyyyyyyyyyy! Yaaaaaaaaa! Hey Ya!

*rolls up pant legs* Its so friggin' hot! I really need to do my laundry. I have no shorts left to wear(well, atleast shorts that I'm willing to wear out in public. ;). The brand new air conditioner over here is like, messed up! Its not even blowing any cold air out at all!

I think I'm going to die...

Ah, oh well...later...

Fan Art

Three more pieces of Fan Art are up. They went up right after I submitted them so I'm pretty darn happy. ^_^ Here's some quick links to them:

Oh yeah, heh, I drew this little dude a few days ago. ^_^ He's so cute. I hope you like him. I'm planning on writing some kind of horror story about him, I just haven't really thought it all out yet, heh.

I call him: 'Lil Death.

The quality isn't so good, I tried fixing it up, but it didn't work. There's a few wrinkles in his face, but, that's just because I pressed down so hard with the pencil that it caused the paper to wrinkle. You can also see faint marks from the pen I was using to write with on the other side of the paper, heh.

Notebook Scans...
Here's a few notebook scans, starting off with the front and back covers from Notebook #1.

I think that's all...nothing else really interesting has happened so I'll leave it at that. Later!

So long! B*tch you did me so long! I don't wanna go on, living in this world, without you!

Anyone recognize the song in my subject? Well, that's the chorus from track #16 on Eminem's the Marshall Mathers LP. They had a few Eminem programs on MTV today, I think they were his best live performances(but, aren't they all the best?) and the shows inspired me to listen to his old albums, heh. At first I was listening to them in my portable CD player and I was writing in my notebook, then my mom asked me if I wanted to get on the internet before she left(the password was changed and neither Blaike nor I are allowed to know it so we can only get on if my mom or Lonnie sign us on). I obviously agreed to get on and then after she left, I put the Marshall Mathers LP in the Stereo in the living room, jacked up the volume and I'm listening to it right now, while I'm surfing the web.

So, I'm the only one here. ^_^ Which is pretty cool because that means I can do what I want(meaning: I'm going to listen to whatever CD I want as loud as I want, =P).

My mom asked me if I wanted to go to town with her and when I refused she said that she'd let me get on the internet and that I also had to put away the dishes and the towels...so...me staying home had some drawbacks but, meh, dishes and towels aren't a big deal. There a simple five-minute chore.

Oh, yay! The CD is now on #18 Criminal. Criminal is one of my favorite Eminem songs of all time. ^_^

And to think, its just little ol me, Mr. Don't-Give-A-F*ck still wont leave.

I'm planning on posting in a few RPGs today. I'm not sure exactly which one's but I'm hoping that I'll get to all of them, so, if you're in a RPG with me, expect a post from me soon. ^_^

'Cause everytime I write a rhyme these people think its a crime to tell 'em what's on my mind. I guess I'm a criminal!

I don't gotta say a word, I just flip 'em the bird and keep goin'. I don't take sh*t from no one. I guess I'm a criminal!

*changes to next CD, the Slim Shady LP*

Alright, I better wrap this post up before I start putting up the lyrics to every single Eminem song I listen to today. I've also got to get to those RPGs, work on my website a little, visit a few forums other than OB and check my email, hehe. Busy, busy...later!

-DDG

Edit: Meh, I always forget something...

But, anyway, I just remembered that the next time I went over to my dad's I was planning on bringing a few of my notebooks so I could scan the interesting things that I write on the front and back covers and on the tops of the pages. Some things are very interesting and I thought that you all might like to see some of the strange things that I write down, either because I heard it on TV and was interested in, or maybe I was just trying to remember something so I wrote it down or I was just bored and was drawing something or just writing something...interesting. I think you all might find some of the things amusing...or not. I don't really care, I just thought that it might be a fun idea and that it might give me something to do, heh. Of course, some things written at the tops of some of my pages will NOT be scanned for certain reasons or another. I can think of two right now that I wont be scanning, but that's only because they were ideas that I had to use in my story at that time so, if I scan them (even though they're both scribbled out so I remembered that I'd already put that in the story or that, the idea was dumb and I was never going to do it) they'll give away part of the story and, I wouldn't want to clue you all in to something that happens later...hehe...

Well, I think that's all...if not I'll edit this again.

Mosquitos

Mosquitos. The most annoying little pest that lives to seek you out and suck your blood. I see absolutely no use in their existence. They only thing I can see that they actually do, is harm us by giving us itchy bumps, diseases, molaria and whatnot.

And they're not like bees or other insects with stingers or that can bite, because bees and those other insects only go after us if they're provoked. And with bees and such, once they sting their stinger falls out and they die. With mosquitos, they can bite over and over again, never dieing unless we kill them ourselves. Now, if mosquitos could bite once, and only once, before they died, the world would be a much healthier place.

I feel much better now. ^_^

Lets see...
Well, I went back to my mom's house last night, to get away from the 90 degree heat that was my dad's house and to get into a nice, air conditioned house. Now my dad's here this morning (he has work release from jail so I get to see him every so often)installing a new air conditioner (thank god!).

Here's something else that's cool, I have a new step-sister. She's Lonnie's daughter, so she's Blaike's half-sister and my step-sister.

The only things I really know about her is that her name is Robin, she's 15, looks and acts like Lonnie and that she's not allowed to play video games, can only watch a few hours of TV a day and can only get on the computer a few hours a day. I've also seen a few pictures of her. ^_^

Lonnie got to meet her for the first time yesterday so I'm sure I'll get to meet her soon (can't wait for that). The story about why he was just meeting her for the first time yesterday is too long and complicated to tell so I'll leave it at that, heh.

Eh, there was something else I wanted to say but I can't exactly remember what it was so, if I do, I'll update later.

Later, for now.

-DDG

Edit: Here's what I wanted to say...I believe I've took every single quiz there is to take in the Quizzes section. I may have taken a few twice, too. Now that I've taken them all, though, I'm going to have to make my own and submit it.

90 Degrees= Death...

Its 90 degrees outside and the only way I'm surviving is that the air conditioner(which barely works by the way) is in the window right next to the computer. It feels very, very good. ^_^

I'm eating my leftover pizza from last night right now. Um...not really much to say I guess. Not much has really happened since I updated yesterday.

*taps fingers on desk*

*awkward silence*

*hours go by*

Right, well, I would scan my Blaziken picture that I drew last week, but, when I was getting ready to come over here to my dad's I forgot to grab it from my drawing folder so...maybe I'll start on my Mudkip drawing and scan that. ^_^

Guess that's all...later.

Monday, June 7, 2004

Ok, well, I've finally got the time to sit down and write up a decent post so here goes:

Friday
Yes, on Friday I did go to work with my mom. I woke up at around 7:00 AM and we arrived at her work at around 8:00 AM, which gave me the entire morning to mess around on the internet until around 11:00 AM which was when we had to go and pick my step-cousin Tre up.

Once we picked him up, we went back to my mom's work and waited for her friend Jody to come in(she works there, too) to work and to drop Tre's rollerblades off. Once she had come, Tre and I both got our rollerblades on and rollerbladed around. It felt so good to be on rollerblades again. I live out in the country so there's no pavement to skate on and stuff, which totally sucks. But, anyway, I also got to skateboard a bit(I'd brought both my skateboard and my rollerblades when I went with my mom to work) and I realized that I'm much better than I thought I was. Maybe it was just the small area I have to skateboard around in my basement that was messing me up and causing me to think that I wasn't all too good.

Anyway, at around 4:00 PM or so, Jody took both Tre and I over to his house where we played video games and such until around 6:30 PM. At 6:30, Leslie(one of Tre's cousins) and her boyfriend Matt, took both Tre and I to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I'll tell you, this movie is the best one yet. I especially loved it because Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book of the entire series so far. The only downside of the movie was that they had to cut out a lot of things and even with them cutting out all of those things, the movie was very long, a whole two hours in length. That's a long time to sit in a theatre, needing to go to the bathroom from drinking a large Icee.(Hey, I didn't want to get up and miss any of the movie...)

After the movie, we went back to Tre's house and Tre and I played a few video games before popping in the movie, Idle Hands and going to bed. Heh, that movie is very very funny; I absolutely loved it. ^_^

Saturday
On Saturday, we, once again, played video games before Lonnie came to pick us up. When he did, we went over to my step-brother's Aunt and Uncles house for a barbeque. The food was great, but the mosquitos were bad. We used up two whole cans of bug spray to keep them from biting, but the sheer fact that they were there and constantly pestering us, buzzing around our heads, was very annoying. Whilst there, though, I developed a new sport: Mosquito Smacking. Its all about hand-eye coordination, heh. I'd have to say I killed a lot of mosquitos, though.

After the barbeque, we headed back to my house, where more video games were played, a movie watched and a few hours of TV. Then it was off to bed at around, oh, lets say...2 AM.

Sunday
On Sunday, once everyone was up and ready, my mom and I drove Tre back home. We then drove back into town and went shopping. I got a new pair of shorts and a Detroit Red Wings shirt with Brett Hull on it to match the shorts. ^_^ We also bought Xio's birthday gift, it was Pokemon Ruby.

After that, my mom drove me back out to Vestaburg, where I was dropped off at Xio's house. We played a few video games, watched a little TV, rented a few video games, played those video games, you get the picture.

Today
Eh, not much happened today. Xio and I got on the internet, posted a bit, took a few quizzes/tests, and played, whatdoyaknow, video games. Then, Josie came by and picked me up and now I'm here at my dad's house, waiting for my pizza. *shushes grumbling stomach* hehe...

Video Games Played
Wondering what video games I played these past few days? Well, here's the list:

Hitman: Contracts (first time playing, loads of fun)
Dragonball Z: Budokai 2 (own it and play it every so often)
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (own it, play it all the time)
Grand Theft Auto III (own it, play it all the time)
True Crime: Streets of L.A. (own it, play it all the time)
Tony Hawk's Underground (first time playing, absolutely love it, though)
Lupin the III: the Treasure of the Sorcerer King (watched Xio play it, looked hard but fun)
.hack//QUARANTINE (own it, love it and play it all the time)

Eh, I'm pretty sure that's all. ^_^;

I also watched:

Bruce Almighty (Movie, seen it before)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (In Theatres now, saw it the very first day)
Stuck On You (Movie, seen it before)
Reno 911 (hilarious TV Show on Comedy Central, watch it all the time)
Viva La Bam (another hilarious TV Show on MTV, watch it all the time)

*groans* I think...I'm going to die...too hot...guess that's it...later...*faints from heat and hunger*
