Well, it's Friday and unfortunately, Spring Break's almost over. These last few days have gone by way too fast. I haven't done a damn thing that I told myself I needed to do, although, I did recreate my Yu-Gi-Oh deck and earn 20 dollars sweeping up cat and dog crap in the basement, heh.

I plan on buying some Yu-Gi-Oh cards tomorrow and a CD as well. That'll be after the Easter Party I'm going to at my Grandma and Grandpa's house.

I was over there today, at a Fish Fry they have every year. This is the first year that my mom and I got invited, heh. The food was good but afterwards when my mom dropped me off at my dad's house, I felt kind of sick to my stomach. The feeling subsided though and I then began raiding the cupboards, my dad and step-mom were at Bingo so I was alone in the house. I failed to find any food, with the exception of some Laffy Taffy, if you can conisder that food.

So, once my dad and step-mom got home, they had food, thank god. They had taco's, pickles and some really good news. At Bingo, they had had a great pay-off! My dad got 950 dollars and my step-mom got 500! Man, that makes my measily 20 dollars look like small change.

They also had Cold Creek Manor so I'm watching that right now. It's very interesting and is sort of keeping my attention. I'm having a better time listening to it rather than actually watching it though.

'Bout my Yu-Gi-Oh deck, though, first, I emptied out all of my card holders onto the floor and sorted my cards into piles, directly after thouroughly reading through the instruction manual. I sorted them into Monster Card piles, Trap, Magic, Fusion, and Monster Effect card piles. I then proceeded to begin making my deck. I chose to make it 54 cards, not including my two fusion cards in my fusion deck.

29 cards were monster cards and 25 were Magic and Trap. I also brought my deck with me over here to my dad's so I could discuss it with Mai/Haruko but she seems to be back at her mom's...I really don't think it's the greatest deck in the world but I mean, I've never had much skill at creating decks so, uh, yeah...I might post it on OB's Yu-Gi-Oh rate my deck thread or whatever...or, I'll just post it here and see what you guys/gals think of it...^_~

Heh, guess that's all I've got to say right now. I guess if I think of anything else later I'll post about it. ^_^

I don't really have much to talk about today. I've reserved the Matrix: Revolutions and my step-mom's going to get it from the video store after she goes shopping and stuff.

I'm going home tomorrow I believe, just for tomorrow and Thursday though, then I'll be back over here at my dad's on Friday morning. I'll only be there for a few hours before my mom picks me up again and we go to my Grandma and Grandpa's fish fry. After that I'll then come back over to my dad's house for the rest of the weekend.

Digimon: The Descendents
If you've been paying atttention in the Recruitment board at OB you'll notice I've made a new RPG, Digimon: The Descendents. I encourage you to check it out and sign-up if you're interested. It's going to be a very good RPG. ^_^ I wont give any spoilers though. Although, I have been thinking about how to make the RPG fo the past two weeks or so and I've finally posted it in the Recruitment section. ^_^

I don't think...
Ugh, I don't think I can type much more. I'm sick, I've got a stuff nose and a phlegmy throat plus I'm feeling a bit lightheaded and I can't type very well. I've made a bunch of typo's that I've had to go back and fix...so I think this is all I'm typing for now...until later, maybe I'll feel better then.

-DDG

EDIT: I feel better now. My lightheadedness is gone now, just got a phlegmy throat still.

While I was offline I was playing .hack//QUARANTINE. I tried going through the impossible dungeon but I got to B4 before I put my controller down and announced that it was break time, heh.

My dad then asked if I was going to play it again and I said no and then made some requests for him to do before he turned it off, now after those requests are doen he's playing my game for me, getting me items and stuff for my item list so I'm pretty happy because I don't actually have to do it myself. That kind of stuff can get tedious after awhile, heh.

Well, I still have no ideas for a decent post so this'll have to do...later, again.

Change In Mind

Change In Mind
I have a sort of change in mind. I believe I'm going to change my site's colors to a 'Gothika' theme and then after that a 'Matrix' theme. Or, I could start out with a Matrix theme but I can't decide. Give me your opinions if you'd like. If not, I'm just going to change the theme to whichever one I'd pick using eeny meeny miny moe...heh.

Matrix
I'm considering a change to this because right at this moment I'm watching the very first Matrix. I really love the series and I'm glad to finally be able to watch it. If I did change to a Matrix theme it'd be of course blacks and neon greens. I'd also try and find a good background for my nifty little table here and a picture of either Neo, Agent Smith, or Morpheus for my display picture.

Gothika
After watching Gothika last night I've decided that a change to this movies colors would be interesting. My sites colors actually wouldn't change much, the only thing that would disappear really would be some of the lighter grey's which would be replaced by darker ones. So, a Gothika theme would change my sites colors to red, black, and dark grey's. I'd try to find a good picture for a background for my handy dandy table here and for a display picture I'd get one of Halle Berry's character who's name of which has eluded me at this moment, heh.

Matrix: Reloaded
I also rented this movie from the video store. I am going to watch it right now because the first Matrix has in fact just ended. Heh, I'm lucky enough to have a great view of a TV from my current position which is why I am able to type this post. I can't wait to start watching the Matrix: Reloaded and then the Matrix: Revolutions. I didn't rent the Matrix: Revolutions today but I plan on renting it either tomorrow or the next day.

True Crime: Streets of L.A.
I was playing this earlier today. It's a lot of fun. I didn't do much in the actual story, I mostly ran around frisking and fighting people and occasionally doing a small street crime. Heh, you'd never be able to imagine the number of people you can arrest for the illegal possessions of drugs or weapons. Solving the small street crimes is also very interesting in its own way, especially when answering a call about a rapist raping somebody. They rape them right in the middle of the sidewalk...you'd really have to play the game to understand or see what I mean.

My dad's already beaten the game twice. One time being a complete 'Good Cop' and the other as a 'Bad Cop'. I saw the ending for the 'Bad Cop'. It was pretty cool and afterwards it said: Poor Ending-1 of 3. My dad also said that I could take the game home with me so I'm pretty happy. I love getting free games from my dad. I get a lot of free games and stuff from him which is pretty cool.

I Better Post This Now...
Yes, I should post this now so I may put more attention into watching the Matrix: Reloaded because my dad has just pressed the play icon on the DVD so it's starting now.

Until tomorrow then!

-DDG

EDIT: Ok, I decided way beforehand but instead of deleting the post, I'll keep it. I hope you enjoy my new Matrix themed myOtaku. I'll have a picture of Agent Smith up soon and some kind of Matrix background for my handy dandy nifty table here. ^_~

Night!

EDIT 2: I got rid of the background for my table...it doesn't work very well because my font blends into it in spots too easily but atleast the background and the colors of the site look good. ^_^

Night, again!

There's not much going on. Just the usual really. Next week starts Spring Break although, it unofficially started for me today.

You see, today was Beach Bum Day as I've stated in some earlier post or something. So I was wearing a Hawaiian type shirt and some jeans. Well, at lunch time it was well around 50 or 60 degrees outside (which is considerably warm going over the past few weeks), so as Mai_Minase/Haruko and I were walking out of the cafeteria I turn to her and say 'Man, I feel like I'm in Vice City!' she laughed and agreed. Then I said, 'Well, I'm on vacation from my job as a Bookie/Mafia Leader so leave me alone!' she laughed again and then began to pretend that she was shooting me, which really ticked me off. I dealt with it though and laughed.

So, that was how my vacation unofficially started.

Later in that day, during the Lightning/Volleyball/Euchre/Chess finals, everyone was gathered in the gym and stuff. Alexa, Xio (Mai/Haruko) and a few of my other friends had found a table off to the side to sit at. When we first got in there, Xio was off playing in the Chess Finals so Alexa and I were sitting at the table drawing. I drew this strange character while I had a sock puppet on my hand. A sock puppet. I couldn't believe how good it actually turned out after I finished it, heh. Then, when Xio came into the gym, we got a deck of cards and began playing a very bloody game of War. It was literally bloody. You see, we'd been playing for about a half hour now and we were both taking each others Ace's during War's. Well, I don't remember what started it but one of us began stealing the others cards and throwing them into our deck and then it became an all out battle to see who could steal the most cards from the other person. So I started grabbing a pile of cards from her when she grabbed my hand and threatened to BITE my finger. I didn't believe her until she actually BIT my finger. Holy shit did my finger hurt. Now, there's a bruise there and it hurts when I'm bending it, limiting my typing slightly.

On To Other Things...
I submited a bunch of Digimon fan art. Expect it up soon. I also submitted the drawing that I had drawn while wearing a sock puppet so you can see how it turned out. The sock puppet surprisingly didn't hinder my drawing abilities much at all, lol.

Gothika
I'm watching it right now, well, sort of. I'm more listening to it than watching but so far it's a pretty freaky movie and I'm scared out of my mind. Ok, I'll admit, it's freaky, but I'm not scared out of my mind.

Guestbook Entries
Ok, here's a reply to my two newest Guestbook entries:

Wondershot: Yeah, I might be getting a little excessive with the worshipping but green's a cool color. ^_^ I'm glad to be in the Digimon RPG with you as well.

Sara: Blackwargreymon is cool. I love him/it and...and...Blackwargreymon is the coolest Digimon...next to Kiwimon and Renamon and Gatomon and Imperialdramon and and and...

I have nothing much else to say so, later!

Whee!

Grades
I got my report card on Monday. I got all 'A's again so for the third Marking Period in a row I've gotten all 'A's and for the second Marking Period in a row I've gotten a 4.0 GPA.

I also got my grade for Kenny and I's project back on Tuesday. We did really good. We got 38/40 which should be around 96%.

I figured we'd get a good grade. We worked really hard on the project and even spent an hour after-school in the library working on it but I'm glad that it's over. Now in Social Studies we're learning about Latin America. We're going to have to do a PowerPoint Presentation for the project for this unit and this time we have to do it alone.

I'm thinking about picking the country of Peru for my project. I like the name. Peru. It just sounds cool. ^_~

.hack//QUARANTINE
I'm so deprived! I've let Mai/Haruko borrow it because she beat .hack//OUTBREAK over the weekend and now I can't do what I wanted to do! Argh! She traded me .hack//OUTBREAK back for .hack//QUARANTINE on Monday so I didn't even have one day to work on my graphing for it. I'd really planned on doing it this week but I guess it'll have to wait until this weekend, that's considering if she gives it to me on Friday because she wont be able to play it on the weekend, making it a prime time for me to play it because I can play it at my dad's.

I'm hoping that if I ask her tomorrow she'll remember to give it to me on Friday.

Spring Fling Week
Yup, this week is the Middle School Spring Fling Week at my school. Here's the short rundown of how the week has gone so far, for me and how the rest of the week is planned:

Monday: PJ Day, I did not partake in this event. I wasn't exactly fond of the idea of wearing my shorts and t-shirt (what I'd wore to bed on Sunday night) to school, despite how everyone told me it wasn't cold.
Tuesday: Sportswear Day, I wore my Red Wings Jersey and my Vans Skateboard Shoes, of course, I wear those shoes everyday.
Wednesday: Favorite Character~Career Day, I dressed up as a Mobster. Leather coat, jeans and gelled/hair sprayed back hair. Everyone kept asking me if I was a 'Greaser' and everytime I told them 'no'.
Thursday: Tospy-Turvy Thursday, yes, tomorrow I am going to put my hair, all of it, into many many many small ponytails leaving no hair out of one. I'm also going to wear a backwards and inside out shirt, inside out socks, two different pairs of shoes and the left shoe on the right and the right on the left.
Friday: Beach Bum Day, nothing really special about this day. Just a few tournaments going on like Chess, Euchre (mwahahaha, gambling...*cough* hem, sorry...), Lightning, and Volleyball. And if you don't want to participate in any of those, you can just bring a card game or a book or something. I'll be busy though, my Jumpstart organized this whole week and everyone signed up to look over something and help set it up.

I signed up to watch over the Chess Tournament...ah, that was just to escape the torment and rambunctiousness (is that a word...?) of the gym so I can have a little peace and quiet. I know I signed up for something else, too but I can't quite remember what it was, oh well. I'll find out on Friday.

I better post this now before I'm forced to get off so later!

Horrible...

My step-brother, Blaike, back in January, right before school started back up, he got into a dirt bike accident and broke his back. He also lost a kidney. Ever since then, he's been having a lot of problems.

Just recently, on Tuesday, he went back to the hospital for the third time since his accident. He went there and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Now, today, my mom emailed me because she was up in Ann Arbor with Lonnie at the hospital, and told me that at 3:00 PM(it's 5:47 PM now) he was going into surgery. She said that the doctors were going to look at his diapragm and see what was wrong with it and why it was causing him trouble.

My mom said that after the operation she would find a computer and email me back. She hasn't yet and I'm hoping she will soon.

In Other News...
I got to skip school today. Since my mom went up to Ann Arbor yesterday, she told me that I was going to go to my dad's after school because she didn't want me home alone. She said that I didn't have to go to school today because I would have to get up at like 5:00 just to be able to get to ready and be at the school by 7:50, atleast.

So, I've been sitting here at the computer all day. The only break I took was to do my English Essay and my Math test. Jee, what a break that was, right?

Social Studies Project
My friend Melissa and I were chatting on YIM and she told me that Kenny did a good job presenting our project by himself.

I'd told him yesterday that I wouldn't be at school today and told him exactly what to do when presenting it. Lol. So, I'm glad he did a good job presenting it by himself, heh. Melissa also said that she thinks we got a pretty good grade on it.

Last Night on YIM
Last night on YIM I was talking to Dragon Warrior for the first time. XD It was strange because we connected really well even though, the conversation made almost no sense half the time. XD But, the cool thing is, that he said he liked me, Y'know, as a friend. ^_^

Well, that's all for now, later!

It's been a little while since I've updated. I actually haven't had much to type and I haven't had much time to type something up.

Spelling Bee
Well, I personally think I did horrible. I got out in the second round. XD I mis-spelled misorientation. I got ahead of myself when I was spelling it and said 'i' before I said 'm'. XD

Haruko got second place, so congratulations!

Math Club
I got invited to join the Math Club on Monday during Math. Haruko got invited as well. ^_^

Today was the first meeting of the 4th Marking Period. We're learning physics to prepare everyone for a trip to Michigan Adventure on a special day called Physics Day. Only five people get to go and they're picked by everytime we attend a meeting, our names get put into a bucket and then there'll be a drawing and the first five people to get drawn get to go to Michigan Adventures.

The coolest thing I learned today is that the symbol for 'Delta' in .hack and stuff, really means 'Delta' and that 'Delta' means 'change'. ^_~

Social Studies Project
In Social Studies, we're doing a project on African countries. We got pick our countries and then pick a partner to do a pair presentation with. Now, I didn't pick my partner because I know that everyone will fight over me so I just told them all to do rock, paper, scissors to see who would be my partner.

A boy named Kenny won. Kenny's a friend of mine so I was pretty happy. He's also one of the only boys in my class I could depend on to actually do work on the project.

So yesterday, we started out by writing down all the information on our countries (Madagascar, my country, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenny's country) that we could not compare for the compare and contrast part of the project.

After finishing that, we began writing down comparisons and contrasts between our two countries.

Tomorrow is the first day for showing the pair presentations, but we got permission from our Social Studies teacher, Mr. Kraft, to show our presentation on Friday instead because I had after school activities on everyday but Thursday. So tomorrow, we're staying after school and heading down to the public library to get some pictures, current events, and to finish up the comparing and contrasting.

We think our projects going to be pretty good and that we should get an A.

.hack//QUARANTINE
*sigh* I still haven't played it since around two weeks ago, which is very strange for me.

This is actually for a strategic reason. I'm formulating a plan of how to make it through the bonus dungeon.

I'm thinking, that the same monsters will come out of the same portals in the same rooms so I'm going to graph the entire dungeon, or, as far as I can get, on graph paper, put dots in the rooms that have monster portals, and then write down what monsters come out of each portal, if they were a data bug or not, etc, etc.

I think it should work pretty well. Or atleast, I'm hoping that my theories are correct.

Hmm...well, I think that's all for now.

Later!

Well...

Well, I've decided to change the colors of MyOtaku a little bit.

I'm going to be messing around with this table until I get it the way I want it, but I think it's going to be pretty cool once I'm done with it.

I changed the link hover colors to a crimson color so my whole site would match my OtakuBoards signature. Red, Black, Gray, and some White, too. I just love how those four colors go together.

Well, that program I installed on Friday, I uninstalled it because it wasn't going to help me with anything else that I couldn't already do before on my other programs.

Well, not much else I can think about to type. Now if you'll excuse me, I must get something to eat.

Hmm...

Hmm...not much going on today. Well, if you noticed my Introduction, I put my post about the Spelling Bee up so I could continue posting and still get support from people.

Today, I bought the book Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code. It's really very good. I've read the two previous books so I was glad when I found this one.

Everything has just been kind of slow lately. I mean like, my forums are really slow, a few of my friends forums are pretty slow, OB's a bit slow, MyOtaku. It's just soo slow...

I really need something to do right now. Well, I guess maybe I'll install this ArcSoft Program I found at my mom's house. It's a collage maker. It sounds fun and I'd like to use it to make banners. ^_^

Guess there's not much else to talk about...I'm thinking about working on my website or something...I'm not sure if I'm going to tonight though. Of course, I could always work on the new banner I said I might make for Mai_Minase. ^_^; I just need to find some more Sora pictures.

Oh well, I better start installing that program now.

Later!

Nervousness...

I'm getting very nervous as the 23rd approaches. This up coming March 23rd is the Regional Spelling Bee. I'm getting very nervous.

I'm anticipating it, but I'm dreading it. I'm so nervous about it. I want to place very well but I'm afraid that I wont. I want to get first so I can get the chance to go to Washington D.C. and compete the Nationals.

If I did win, I'd have some kind of a rambunctious party. Heh, I'd probably pass out on stage if I won.

I'd love to win because an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. would be wonderful. Think of all the things I'd get to see! The downside of going to Washington D.C. is that I can only bring one adult chaperone. I'm going to bring my mom if I do win but I wanted to bring her fiance, Lonnie, too. He'd be a great person to bring on a vacatio to Washington D.C.

On a side note, Mai_Minase (OB Username) or Haruko (MyOtaku Username) gets to go compete as well so I'll have a friend to compete against. I'm not scared about competing against her one bit. I mean, she even said on her MyO site herself that I'm the smarter one. ^__^

Well, uhm, wish me and Mai/Haruko luck next week. We're really going to need it.

Later!
