Anime Unleashed
Last night/earlier this morning at around 4:00 AM, I was surfing the channels (because I wasn't very tired and couldn't get to sleep) and I decided to turn it to TechTV, where I discovered, they were playing Anime Unleashed.
I was very happy because it allowed me to see two new Anime's that I now would like to see more of. Also, during the commercials, I made a list of every Anime I'd seen atleast one or two episodes of so far.
But first, the two Anime's that I watched last night/earlier this morning.
I got to see Crest of the Stars and Boogiepop Phantom. I watched the first episode of Crest of the Stars(I'm not sure, I started watching it about ten minutes into the show) and I saw the 121st episode of Boogiepop Phantom.
I was especially impressed with Boogiepop Phantom. It was very well designed, animated, and whatnot. It's definitely an Anime that I'll be investing my money into in the future.
As for Crest of the Stars, it was pretty good. I was impressed with the storyline and how they played out the episode. Also another Anime I might plan to invest my money into in the future.
Ok, now for all of the Anime's that I've currently watched. I've come to the conclusion that I've watched 23 different Anime's since I began watching Anime. Definitely not as much as some people have seen, but, I'm glad to have atleast seen a decent amount.
Because of my lack of money, I'm hindered to only being able to watch the Anime that they show on Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Toonami; but I get by...
Anyway, here's the list of all of the Anime I've seen:
Crest of the Stars
.hack//SIGN
Case Closed
Cowboy Bebop
Dragoball
Dragonball Z
Dragonball GT
Inuyasha
Lupin the Third
Trigun
Wolf's Rain
Witch Hunter Robin
.hack//Legend of the Twilight
Pokemon
Digimon
Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu Yu Hakusho
FLCL (Fooli Cooli, Furi Kuri)
Big O
Rurouni Kenshin
Kikaider
Cyborg 009
Boogiepop Phantom
See? Mostly just Anime's that have aired on CN, Toonami or AS once or twice, but, now that I have discovered Anime Unleashed on TechTV, I'll be watching more of that from now on. *plans a trip to Suncoast as soon as she has some money* Darn you money...
There's also another thing about Anime for me; no matter what the Anime, so far I've loved it. There isn't a single Anime that I've seen so far that I haven't liked. Isn't that totally cool? I know that some of my friends are picky with what Anime's they watch, like not liking an Anime just because you don't understand the story or because its just a bit boring at times.
Those kind of things just don't seem to make me dislike the Anime. That also makes it easier for me to watch a broader variety of Anime, so I guess it's a good thing, heh.
Well, that's all I really planned to talk about today, but, for all of us Americans, happy Fourth of July in advance(because I wont be on the internet tomorrow, I'll be with my mom and stuff, watching fireworks, you know...) and happy birthday to Japan.
