'No! Not the hospital! Who knows what kind of drugs they got me on there!
Aw, thanks for all the support guys/gals.
Ok, now, today, I have other things to talk about other than rambling on about Fan Art.
Although, there is one thing I'd like to mention that I read through a comment on my Vileplume drawing.
bobbybobgurl: no offence, but don't u think poke'mon is kinda of out of style?
*growls* That's absolutely no reason not to like a piece of art!
Ok, enough fan art rambling...on to 'important' things.
Eh, no story...
Sorry, no story today. I'm at my mom's house and I don't want to get in trouble for putting my floppy disk into the computer so, that'll have to wait until I get back to my dad's. You all probably need a break anyway.
But, anyway, yesterday, my mom asked me if I wanted to go shopping.
I was hesitant at first, but then I remembered the $70 she had given me.
So I asked: "Can we go to Sam Goody?" she said yes and I quickly took a shower, got dressed grabbed my $70 and was ready to go shopping.
*grins*
I first came upon the realization that Sam Goody had Anime videos when I saw a commercial for Gungrave. At the end of the commercial, they showed a small list of stores that had the Anime.
Sam Goody was one of them.
I was so happy to learn that Sam Goody had Anime. There are two Sam Goody's near my home. One is about a 15 minute drive away in Alma and the other is about a 25 minute drive away in Mount Pleasant.
But, anyway, when we got to Sam Goody, I immediately went over to the video section and found two shelves full of Anime videos on the outside of two large rows of regular movies.
Then I found a whole quarter of a row filled with even more Anime! It took me about a half hour to decide what I wanted, heh.
But I finally decided on Princess Mononoke and Akira.
*grins wider*
I watched them both right when I got home. I really liked Princess Mononoke. The story was great, the character designs and art was wonderful!
Akira...What can I say other than that I absolutely love this movie! It was a tad bit confusing at first and I was a bit turned off by it, but by the middle of it I was really interested in it.
Ok...lets see...oh yeah, I also saw a TokyoPop stand at Sam Goody. Unfortunately, I forgot to look at it. >.> Well, I've still got some money left(the two videos together were only about $35, they were both on sale ^_^) so, I think I should be able to buy another video and maybe even some Manga with it.
I also need to buy my mom a birthday gift, but, she hasn't told me what she wants and I think we'll be busy tomorrow (her birthday's Wednesday >.>) so, I might just end up giving her a few of my drawings, heh.
But, I was thinking about getting Ninja Scroll or Samurai X.
But, there are some other Anime's there that did make it onto my Most Wanted Anime's List(the page of which will be updated later).
Well, other than the Anime that I got, I also got some new shoes. They're Vans(of course!) and they're colored grey, black, white and red.
My favorite color combinations, heh. I've promised my mom that I wont wear them until school starts so, they're still in the box.
Well, I think that's all. Later.
