'What? Are you nuts? I'm not letting you give me a sponge bath!'
Heh, the quote above was taken from a slightly hilarious part in my story. Well, atleast I think it's hilarious. I wont go into details but...the subject of homosexuality(that's a word, right?) comes up and is 'discussed.'
Well, anyway...
I'd like to apologize to Kanna9 for forgetting to add her as a friend, even though I said I would in her Guestbook.
Sorry, sometimes these things slip my mind...
Anime! So much...Anime!
I watched Princess Mononoke again yesterday. I was going to Akira again, but, I decided to go to Coldwater Lake with my mom and Lonnie for a little while. My Grandma and Grandpa are staying down there for the week, as are my cousins, Jasmin, Jaide and Ethan(actually, he went home today), and my Aunt Jamie and Uncle Jimmy.
Yesterday was...a tad bit uneventful. As was today when we returned.
The highlight of the trip: Jasmin and I making fools of ourselves in front of these two hispanic people.
See, we were sitting on this wagon thing that kids are supposed to play on and there were these horses in front of it(you know, those little one's with the springs on the bottoms of them) and we were pretending that they were real horses...but they weren't moving so...we started taking some drastic measures to 'make' them move.
It involved killing them.
I then began asking as we killed them off whether I should unhook them from the harnesses or just let them drag.
We let them drag.
But, anyway, this continued for awhile until we decided that a cop should show up.
The first time, we killed the cop with a nuke. Yes, a nuke...*coughs slightly*
The second time, when another cop came, we 'asked' him if he liked baseball and he 'said' yes.
So, if you can't guess what happened next...I 'used' a 'baseball bat' to...(WARNING: The following sentence has been rated R)
...whack his head off.
Yes, a very strange day indeed.
Oh..*laughs* today, we went swimming and Keegan(he's a 'friend' from school) was there as well so, Jasmin and I began to have a little fun.
We picked up seaweed from the bottom of the lake and began tossing it at him everytime he was busy throwing the football to some other kids.
It was absolutely hilarious.
He would freak out everytime a piece hit him, too.
*laughs cruelly*
Ok, back to where I originally planned to take this topic...
My mom has promised me that she'd take me back to Sam Goody tomorrow. *grins* She's supposed to be getting some money and she said that she'd let me buy some stuff with it.
Aw, she's such a nice mom...buying me stuff...on her birthday.
Eh, which reminds me...I said I'd draw her a detailed map of the house...I must get to that later...*makes a mental note*
I've still not decided what I want to get. I'll probably know by tomorrow after contemplating about it all night...
oO
I always seem to get a lot of comments when I talk about Anime or when I'm complaining about how people rate art.
Oh yeah, and thanks for backing me up with the whole 'its not right to not like a piece of art because you don't like the Anime' thing guys/gals.
Repetitiveness!
Mimmi: Yep, new sneakers are the best! *grins*
Japan86: Armitage III was on a little sheet that came with Akira. One of those little sheets that say like 'Other titles by blah-blah-blah' and I was thinking about getting it. I've also heard that Ghost In the Shell was good. Ghost In the Shell is also an Anime that they show on my Winamp player sometimes...I even tried watching it once because the file size of it was low but...no luck. It downloaded about nine seconds of it with my dial-up internet connection before saying that the server was full...
Damn you dial-up! *shakes fist*
KiraraDOWN: *nods in agreement*
Psy: Oh, that sucks. Well, try looking around. It came to me by surprise that I had two stores that sold Anime within twenty minutes driving distance.
TheAngelHasFallen: Yeah, I saw that you had commented as well, backing me up. ^_^ But, yep, Sam Goody has Anime. I definitely suggest that you check it out.
Zefie: You really think so? I got Princess Mononoke because I'd heard it was good and it'd been suggested by a few others. I only got Akira because the summary on the back sounded interesting.
Lol, yeah, dunno what's up with the whole 'bobbybob' thing. Some people are just strange like that I guess...
lost soul: *nods* Yes, you are probably right, too. It always seems that people vote negatively on a piece of art because that artist is better than they are when it comes to drawing.
Otakusennen: My old vans were completely black with tan bottoms. They made it through the entire school year...but, now they're kind of...dead. There are large holes in the backs of them from where my heels rub on them when I'm sliding them on and off(I'm too lazy to bother with untying and tying the shoelaces...).
AutumnCalamity: Most definitely not out of style...
Yay for hyperness!
Whew, nine comments...that got to be my record so far...
So sorry!
I'm really, really sorry for not posting anymore of the story yet! Some of it should be posted soon though because I'm supposed to be going to my dad's sometime soon.
Ooh...BestBuy says that my WinTV GO should arrive within 3-10 business days.
The tracking info said that it was in Franklin Park, Illinois on the 17th. oO
*cries* I had something else I wanted to say..but I forgot. Oh well...I'll probably think of it tomorrow or something.
Well, I have to get off now. I'm going to go watch Akira. ^_^

Edit: I just remembered what I forgot to say...look up in my introduction. There's a link called 'Story Archive'. I created that the other day. Its got all of my story that I've posted so far convientently located on a webpage so you don't have to go digging through my archives. Everytime I post another bit of the story, I'll update that page so if you haven't read my story as of yet, its all there for you. ^_^ |
