Dum. . .da. . .dum. . .da da da da dum dum dum dum. . .dum
^ ^ ^ ^
Tis my rendition of myO song, translated into da's and dum's(mind you its coming from memory so it might not be exact...).

I'm currently at my dad's, doing scans from the manga's I brought with me and waiting for Naruto #138 to finish downloading. I've also got a plate of pizza sitting in front of me, untouched because I've had my fingers on the keyboard since it was set there. I plan on eating it soon, but not right now.

Hmm... *glances around site* I do love this layout and all, but, surely, its time for a change, right? Guess I'll be heading off to work on that in a bit. Can't say you wont be able to guess what it'll be based on, hehe. Really quite simple by my standards; shouldn't take you too long to figure it out. Just gotta make the images and then change the colors accordingly. That should take me atleast an hour, since I'm going into this not quite knowing what I truly would like to do with the site. I'm sure I'll be delighted with how it turns out in the end, and I hope the same goes for all of you, too!

We had an assembly during Jumpstart today. It was the first card marking awards assembly. I got a Accelerated Math objectives award(I passed 23 objects), a pencil, pop, and bookmark for getting atleast 25 AR points(when the card marking had ended I had 41 if you all remember or if I never mentioned it), a certificate for being on the all "A" honor roll and...best of all:

MY AMERICAN HERO ESSAY WAS CHOSEN TO GO TO THE STATE FINALS! WHOO!

Well, mine along with nine other people's. A lot of people seemed quite surprised that their essay's had been chosen. We all congratulated each other afterwards. Mrs. Stratton says she wants to see if we can all meet at lunch next week to have a little meeting about it. The few of us who had been chosen who were in her class at the time said we thought it'd be a pretty good idea.

Once I got home I called my mom and told her the news. She was estatic about it, having read the essay and really liking it. I told her about all of the things I could win if my essay was chosen and stuff. Then I told her there was a pamphlet that needed filling out, so she told me to leave it on the table and she'd look at it when she got home. Along with the pamphlet, I put my two certificates on the table so she could look at those, too.

Ah, today was a pretty good day. Pretty good.

Yay! 138's done! Woo! Yay! *heads off to unzip and read without a second thought*
