Spread the disease!
Haha, the "Naruto Disease" as Xio and I have begun to call it, has spread and infected her. She says she's been just downloading chapter after chapter. I told her on the phone just a moment ago, "I told you its addicting!" She agreed and really wished she would be allowed to get online to download more chapters. Haha, I grabbed volume 1 of Naruto and started reading funny passages from it so we could reminisce over what had happened. Man, I just can't wait until she catches up to where I am so we can discuss everything I've read, too. Until then I'm content to discuss chapters that I read quite awhile ago. Even if I can't quite remember them completely.
Oh, and whoo! We got a new computer here at my mom's. It's so awesome. Its an HP with Windows XP so its just like the one at my dad's. Hah, its been so funny to watch Lonnie try and locate things. Its used to the old computer and hasn't quite gotten the hold of where everything is located on the new one.
And when I say, "New computer", I mean new everything. ^_^ New mouse, new speakers, new moniter, new keyboard and, obviously, new CPU.
Can't wait 'till I get my new one for Christmas...and I can't wait until I get my new bed! Whee! Mom says that'll be in sometime before Christmas. I'm almost all ready for it right now. She told me to start taking my knicknacks and whatnot down from my dresser so we could get the shelves and stuff moved downstairs. I got them all packed into a box and wrapped in newspaper. The shelves look so lonely though. They're all empty. Well, mostly. I've got two easter buckets that are filled with crap(I can be a bit of pack rat, just like my dad, he's really bad though...) that I wont get rid of. Also a few pins that I've been picking up off the floor. The last person to borrow my pins didn't screw the cap on the pill bottle they're in back on and when I picked the bottle up by the cap they spilled everywhere. *sigh* I have a bit of a dark carpet and its been hard to make sure I've gotten them all. I picked up all of the one's I could find last night but I stepped on two earlier today and found about five more after that.
But, anyway. Hunting was successful yesterday. Lonnie got a yearling. Heh, everyone's been calling him kid-killer because of it. We're all saying he should've just let it go, but then again, those of us who are going to be tasting that meat....ah, we just can't wait 'till its all cut up. Yeah, it its a bit sad that he killed the yearling, but he really wanted to get a deer before the season was over. (Last day for rifle season: tomorrow!)
It was a pretty long shot. 'Round 200 yards I'd say. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less.
I actually wasn't with him before he got the deer. I'd went out to the last blind(which is called Gary's blind, because it belongs to a man named Gary) with Richard. Damnit, if we'd have waited about 15 more minutes before we'd left and restocked the bait pile, we could've had a few. We saw three deer dash off as we were walking towards it. Ah, well, couldn't be helped. We were getting a bit impatient anyway.
Then as we were walking to Lonnie's blind where he and Blaike were, Richard put his rifle up and spotted a deer with his scope. He pointed it out to me and I just barely got a glimpse of it before Lonnie had his gun up and had shot. But, dang, that was a long shot.
*changes the time on the clock in the bottom corner* Damned thing was bugging me. It was in Pacific Standard Time instead of Eastern Standard Time. Guess no one's bothered to change it since the computer was set up.
Well, as Xio informed me over the phone, there is a new Strong Bad email to be watched. I'll see if I can get that to load on the computer quickly. Then I'll probably check my email, maybe stop by OB for a moment and then head off to the new AR book I'm reading. I discovered it was an AR book recently when I was browsing through the list and remembered I had it at home. Its called Alien Secrets and it's really good. I'm almost done with it and I just started it a few hours ago.

Day: What're we on now? 106? [http://homestarrunner.com/sbemail106.html]
Oh yeah, and before I forget, the link in the last post doesn't work. I tried it just before I left but didn't get the time to fix it, so, just head to the Homestar Runner website and find it yourself. |
