Oh the humanity!
Ok, so my day's been bad and good.
The bad: I'm sick as a dog. Well, see, I was miserable all day at school and then later at the party I told my mom I wasn't feeling well and my Grandma and Grandpa volunteered to take me back to there house for a few hours. That was okay. I felt much better after I had gotten under the nice warm blanket and curled up on the couch.
And the good...well, lets just say I'm using it right now and I love it to death.
That's damn right. I got a new laptop about an hour ago and I've finally gotten it to connect to the internet after a bit of exploring. Oh, its so wonderful. *hugs* Much better than that other hunk of junk in my room. *tosses in the garbage*
The only thing I don't like about it is the mouse. Its got one of those little screens where you use your fingers or whatever to move the mouse on the screen and I really don't like it. It bugs the hell out of me, but I'll get used to it.
And I got to open all of my other gifts. I got some pretty cool stuff. Blaike got me Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban so my guess that he got me either a movie or a cheap video game was right. ^_^ Robin got me an Eminem t-shirt and The Secret Window by Stephen King. Yay for reading! I got a new portable CD player. I was so happy when I saw that...I don't think I'll ever get rid of my old one though. Its like, just something I don't want to get rid of. I've had it since third grade so its kind of something I treasure. Um, my mom got me a little snowglobe with a dragon sitting on the top. She also got me this weather thing-a-mabob. What else...Lonnie got me a nice fleece sweatshirt(and some new boots, but I got those awhile ago). I also got a CD rack and a new calendar. Oh, and a G-Unit poster from Blaike whee! More posters to cover up my walls!
And I have another gift around here somewhere from Deb(my step-grandma). Gonna have to find that later haha. Oh and my mom got me new comfy pajamas and a fluffy snowman! *hugs* Its so soft and cuddly.
Hmm. An hour and 26 minutes left for battery power. I'm going to have to ask my mom where she put the power cord. I wanted to download MSN, YIM and AIM tonight. Or atleast AIM and then MSN. I don't think I'll download YIM actually. I just don't talk to enough people on it. I mean, I don't think I've talked to a single person on it in awhile. But I probably will now that I think about it. YIM is one of the only messengers that a lot of my friends from school have, so I talk to some of them on it sometimes...hmm. We'll see.
Ugh, my stomach. *holds* When my mom came to pick me up earlier and I took the blanket off myself, I immediately didn't feel good. I got on my feet and felt like I was going to pass out. Then when we got out of the car once we were home, I felt even worse. I took one step out of the car and fwam, my stomach started churning. It was really bad earlier, though. It all started with the potatoes...I guess. I took one bite of some potatoes and almost threw up. I managed to eat everything else on my plate, but I just couldn't stomach the potatoes.
And after talking with my mom for awhile she said she was going to try to get me an appointment with the doctor. Yay. Whoo. She says that the last time I slept this much and cried because I was in so much pain, I had mono and she doesn't want me to have that again...God. I hate mono. Its an evil sickness and I hate it. And they say you're more succeptible to it once you've had it.
Well, my mom's looking for a different phone cord for me and I'm going to plug this baby in in a bit. Then I'll see if I can download AIM before I head off to bed. Maybe if I'm feeling well enough I'll talk to some of you for a little while. Oh jee, I hope I don't miss this year's Christmas chat. Anybody have any idea when that's going to be taking place? If so, let me know. And I'm pretty much speaking directly to you, Mr. Shinmaru, since you always seem to be coordinator of these little chats.
