Video games and strategy guides rock my socks
And that's a fact.
So, I just got done opening the gifts my dad, Josie and Brittanie got me. You could never guess the things that I got.
I got six gifts: five were video games and one was a strategy guide.
Wanna know what they were?
The first gift I happened to open contained: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Gift numero dos contained: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Gift numero tres contained: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty(to replace my old disc which is totally messed up)
Gift numero quatro contained: Ghost Recon 2
Gift numero sinco contained: Digimon Rumble Arena 2 (whee!)
And gift numero seis contained: The Strategy Guide for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (yes, I'm a little cheater and I know it. But I'm going to do as many missions as I can before I resort to the guide....)
Whee, I started typing up my story today on my laptop. Boy is it a whole lot better. The first paragraph spanned from about three sentences from my notebook into about seven or eight sentences with much detail and thought behind them. God almighty is this going to take forever to type up.
Did I ever tell you all that the rough draft of my story is 1,124 pages long? I don't think I did. But, yeah, its 1,124 pages long. That's a lot. And the longest chapter is chapter 2 of Part 1 with about 230 pages...and then after that its like, Part 4 or something with 150 some.
My mom and I were discussing my story the other night in the car. We got pretty into it, and she was just surprised that I've kept up with it for so long because most kids give up on long stories after awhile. But not me...been writing it since 6th grade without ever a thought of stopping. Its like a novel pretty much...1,124 pages.
And you know, Ms. Mott told us that if we wrote three pages every day for nine months straight that we would have enough pages for our story to be considered a novel? Or to be considered something or another. I can't quite remember. I did the math and it was like, 810 or so pages. I laughed after I finished doing the math and showed Xio. She laughed too and I was like, "Guess I have a regular 'ol novel don't I?"
Well...I think I'm going to go force my dad away from the PlayStation so I can play GTA: SA...then maybe one of the other games.
