In the mood for a good old fashioned ramble.
RAMBLE:

It's the God damn parents fault for letting their fucking kids play Grand Theft Auto. GTA is clearly rated Mature for a fucking reason and if a parent buys the game for their kid, then starts complaining about the fact that GTA is a bad influence...that's just fucking hypocrisy or something right there.

And on the Hot Coffee scandal: THE MINI-GAME CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED IF YOU, THE USER, THE PLAYER, USE A CHEATING DEVICE OR DOWNLOAD A MOD FROM THE INTERNET! THERE'S NO OTHER WAY TO ACCESS THE MINI-GAME! IF YOUR KID IS PLAYING THE HOT COFFEE MINI-GAME(and really, your kid shouldn't be playing GTA anyway), IT'S NOT BECAUSE THERE'S A WAY TO ACCESS IT WITH THE GAME BY ITSELF...YOUR KID DOWNLOADED A FUCKING MOD SO HE/SHE COULD ACCESS THE MINI-GAME!

I just want to bash in the skulls of those parents who buy Mature video games for their children and then blame the ESRB for their child becoming excessively violent.

And yes, I'm a bit of a hypocrite for saying so, as my parents have been buying me and allowing me to play Mature games since I started playing video games...but it's a little different story in my case, because I'm intelligent enough to KNOW the difference between a video game and reality. I KNOW the reprecussions for enacting something you did in a video game. It's stupid and idiotic; frankly, anyone who thinks what they do in a Mature video game is acceptable to do in real life has some major mental issues or is completely incompetent.

You would think that people would have more moral, ethics and common sense than to do that.

I'm overly mature for my age. I've been through more things in my life already than adults that I know. I can handle certain situations better than adults that I know.

However, maturity and level of intelligence should not be a factor in whether a kid playing a Mature game(something they should not be doing in the first place...idiot parents.) can distinguish right from wrong, can know that actions portrayed in video games are not always acceptable in the real world.

Kids under seventeen years old should not be playing Mature games. I do, but I've already explained my situation. Parents should not be buying their under-seventeen-year-old-kids Mature video games.

If a parent is offended and appalled by the content in a video game they bought for their child, why the hell did they buy it for them in the first place? If you're going to buy your child a video game, doesn't it stand to reason that you should, oh, I don't know...maybe do a little research on the game beforehand, if you're not all that video game savvy, especially?

Just a thought. Or two.

-Snagged from my LCN site...too lazy to remove coding tags. It's liveable.

*scratches head* I'm tired. Think I might go to bed soon. (s'midnight right now.)

Think I'm getting sick(er). My face is feeling a bit flushed...

S'fucking cold outside and all I want it do is just snow...
