The Mistake
Here is some more of the story. extra will be updated soon.
He remembered his relatively peaceful life, which he now longed for so badly. He remembered his 1975 Espion, the best car that he ever owned. He missed its great red leather interior, its sleek shape, its smooth starry blue color, and it’s hum of the engine. He remembered it all and missed it all.
While Heathrow was reminiscing the past, two men dressed exactly the same came to the top deck of the bus. Both of them wore black jeans with a red chain. They also wore black jerseys and had a red necklace around their necks.
The two men slowly came toward Dran. He just sat there trying to act as normal as possible. Then something in his mind just clicked. He recognized the clothes of the two men as the uniform of a dangerous gang who called themselves the Eternal Bliss.
By the looks of things, the two men were just out to mug a few people and Heathrow happened to be one of the unlucky ones. When the two men had their backs turned to him, he quickly hid all his valuable items in the corner so that they could not be noticed. He then began acting normal again. After about two more minutes of standing around, the two men walked up to Dran and said, “Hey, give us all your valuables if you know what’s good for you.”
“I can’t.”
“Why not, you trying to mess with us?” said one of the men in an agitated voice.
“I think he is,” replied the other in a very calm but scary voice.
“Check me if you want. I don’t have anything that is worth anything!”
The two men checked him and found nothing but a biscuit. One of them ate it and the other one motioned for Dran to get ready to fight.
“I don’t want to fight, alright?”
“No, it’s not.”
It would have been good if someone had warned the two men that Heathrow was well trained in self-defense. The man eating the biscuit sat in a seat to watch the fight as the other man began to attack.
Dran was too quick for him. He grabbed the arm that punched and flipped the man out of the bus. The other man looked surprised then angered. He quickly got up and tried to grapple Heathrow, but Heathrow was too good of a fighter to be defeated like that. He countered the move and flipped this man out of the bus, too.
During this fight the other man had been chasing the bus. When the second man fell out, the first one shouted, “Don’t think you’ll get off so easily! The Eternal Bliss will have revenge, and you will regret it!” Heathrow sat calmly down and began wondering if he could afford to have such a grave enemy, such as the Eternal Bliss after him.
Dran waited for another four stops then grabbed his things and alighted the bus and quickly called a cab. The cab driver was a friendly man but Heathrow spoke little. He had the driver take him twenty miles from when he got in. He paid the driver then began walking northwards.
He went into a restaurant to get a little food to eat. He ordered a sandwich, ate it, and then ordered another sandwich for the road. Heathrow was now somewhat in a better mood.
By this time it was dark, so Dran walked to an inn, rented a room, and slept for the night hoping that no one would find him or expose him.
plz tell me how you like it so far.
