Oh my! I haven't played a basketball game for at least a couple of years. Yet, somehow (miraculously), I played extremely well at a basketball 3 on 3 tournament fund-raiser for my church. My dad needed an extra player so I volunteered. My team consisted of my dad, a very tall strong twenty-something-year-old named Lytle (rhymes with while, the "t" is silent.), and me. We kicked butt. We won every single game. It was a double elimination tournament, too. I was one of the only girls there. There were two of us, but her team didn't make it too far. The majority of the other players were men ranging from seniors in highschool to one man who was retirement age. They played pretty roughly. It was tons of fun to play with people who don't go easy on you because you're a girl. I was trampled just as much as everyone else if not more because I was tiny compare to everyone else.
The most amazing part of it is that my father and I had only gotten somewhere under 6 hours of sleep because my brother had a ton of kids over last night, and I had to stay up and clean up after them as the night went on, and I also had to cook a bit. Eventually, I said goodnight. Some are still here now. They're playing Guitar Hero 3.
I have chores to get to now so have a wonderful day.
