Topic of Discussion: Christmas
Alright, here's my take on a small portion of the holiday. At school, everyone is celebrating such a joyous time, even the teachers. That's not the problem and I'm not quite free enough to give my total take on the holiday, so I'll just continue. The holiday is a wonderful one, however, what is one to do if a friend randomly gives a gift, large or small? You feel unprepared, atleast I do. I didn't know how to react. Gifts are wonderful to give but you feel so guilty to recieve one without giving one with more thought. It becomes almost a competition. And then if you can't afford a lot for all of your friends but only a few nice things for one or two people you have to be really careful when and where you give them. And then there's the chance they'll tell all the other friends causing chaos! Or what about having to buy gifts for someone you don't know too well but are still "friends" with them? Like a secret santa for example. You know your "best" friend so well that It's no problem to buy them something but for someone you just met it's very difficult. Any takes on that? Any other stories out there anyone else wants to share? Suggestions? I just thought it was decent topic before Christmas is over. *I hope the comment thing works now. If it doesn't I"ll be so confused.*
