This Party is Political Activity
A slightly delayed new month update (from rei-chan)
Band Feature of the who know's how long:
Klack
*I do feel rather badly as I only will use one source for the band info, and at that, there isn't much to offer*
KLACK
- started in 2003 without a name or activities started
- April 4th first concert at NAZIS CLUB in Harajuku
- July 10th KLACK played second live
- Performances recorded on DVD Terrorism of Red Piss
- July 21st the Klack took part in TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.82, Shibuya O-WEST
- July 28th first maxi-single INTIFADA 2004 released - CD sold nicely and band got attention
- Cure = Klack's greatest friend, even still Cure frequently features them
- July 30th KLACK opened Cure's "Japanesque Rock Collectionz Cure" also was in "act unlawfully Vol.7" on CLUB HOLIDAY
- November 7th first DVD Terrorism of Red Piss released - includes videos including an anime-styled version of Bush and Osama (and et cetera), a view on the hostage situation in Iraq and footage from North-Korea - Klack gained attention The interview is even subtitled in English, so the possible audience listening on their thoughts is pretty large!
- November 27th Klack again at CLUB HOLIDAY
- December 14th - TRIBAL ARIVALL: vol 87.
- December 26th 2004 - KLACK listed in the Beauti-fool's Fest '04 - Without any permission, 'they showed select images of a video originally including a real death on the large screen on their turn to perform. The tape in question was from the situation locating in Iraq, where a Japanese tourist was held hostage and then beheaded. The clips of him and the executioners were soon released on the Internet by a group linked to al-Qaeda, with their demands. Japan didn't withdraw their troops as requested ... The concert was being recorded for TBS channel and quite naturally the pictures caused shock to many attendees, which included young boys and girls who arrived to see their favorite bands. Both the channel and the rock magazine behind the yearly festival, Fool's Mate, apologized deeply and refused to include KLACK in any further reports/articles about the show. The news ran across the world and were published for example in the Washington Times.' *note, the one year anniversary of this tourist's death was this past Sunday, the 30th of October*
- Klack's site went down with the suspicion that the group was no longer - the site reopened a few months as just a single page sighting gigs and appearances in Cure
- Klack plays small lives at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU.
- July KLACK announces release of first album 'No Feeling Phimosis'
- July 17th Klack starts 3 concerts together with ANTIFEMINISM - lives 'advertised with a wild west style "wanted ad", in which the little Italian language print after the actual concert info promised a reward to anyone giving out information about a searched for environmentalist, who is accused of saving several rare animal species and their living places, and for creating a European scale model of ecological development in Italy. You could recognize this person by his WWF Panda pin that he always wears.'
- Klack's site fully reopened but from time to time, it's down for some unknown reason
At that, if i could, I'd get for you the member's translated names... but only the vocalist "U" uses a non-kanji name... and English fansites aren't up and running for Klack. All I found is the kanji for the bassist and the two guitarists. At that, you'll have to go without member information.
u - vocals
- Guitar1
- Guitar2
(Retsu?) - Bass
Information:
Klack's OHP
Iced Key
Moving on from there... a 'contest' if you will.
I'd love to say there are prizes.. for which, there can be. But I don't know what to award.. It seems rather odd saying you can choose. but to an extent, you can. So some kind of media. or feature of your choice. keep in mind though, if it's media, you are slightly dependent on what all there is at our disposal. I have no problem with transferring mp3s, mpegs, jpeg/gifs, or any other media format. Whatever, that can all be figured out later.
And it's not if you finish it all but how many you get right that'll be taken into consideration. Here goes:
(fill in the blanks, if you please)

In that band _____(2) played the guitar and the guitar synth; he came from the band _____(3) and later played in _____(4) (both bands he played guitar only). - If the kanji used doesn't show in your browser, let me know and i'll find a way to get it to you. good luck. i hope you at least give it a shot, please?
it'd probably be best to send answers to death by jrock or to zero li enna (rei-chan) seeing as how i have the answer key and such of that nature.
Well, I hope that you all have a good day, week, or whatever denomination of time there will be between this post and the next one. Later, and with love, rei-chan.
