My life's link
Running through the snowy fields
On a dark, cold winter morn
Looking for shelter, to hide my being
And my flesh from being torn
A petrified expression of fear
After my horrible experience there
"Never to return!" I thought in my head
Ran away, regretfully, left my comrades dead ...
I beg for my life as I ran far away
Trying to find shelter to stay
Their foot steps soon followed behind
And my vigor began to delay
My running became jogging and jogging became walking
I continued on from hearing their talking,
And slower I got and the pain stronger
I soon collapsed,
my escape was no longer,
And I saw their figures before me ...
I lifted my head to the sky ...
And cursed under my breath ...
As the shot was made ...
and my life dismayed ...
the snow turned red ...
and I watched ...
as I died ...

That curse that I made ... for humans alone ... "That grievency may tear you apart, like your whips and knives to the gunshot through my heart, and your kind one day will surely be dead, upon the wolves, and of my stead..."

How to beat an admin ... and save a friend
(She swiped her staff across his face leaving a burn.)

Rei: ><”

Vesper: I was trying to assist! How was I to know?! *

(She repeated her action of the burning staff to his throat.)

Rei: ><” I'm sorry, okay? I didn't know that you would come after me.

Vesper: Of course you didn't. * I should just cast a fire spell and leave you here to burn ...

Rei: What mentor would do that?!”

Vesper: ... *

(She glared at him in a way she has never gazed upon anyone. It was like staring at death.)

Vesper: You test my patience ... *

Rei: What would you achieve of killing me? ><”

Vesper: The sense of normality that I lost when you came. *

Rei: If it bothers you so much, I'll leave. I will seek to become stronger myself. You are just obsessed with winning.

Vesper: Obsessed? With winning? Far from it. *

(She hit him in the head with her searing staff.)

Rei: Augh! {,><,}”

Vesper: ! (Tears?) *

(She lowered her staff, taking a good look at the damage done to him.)

(She stopped her magic from coursing through her staff and the ice cracked, releasing him, but his legs were numb.)

(He looked up.)

(She grabbed her staff and stood, ready to leave.)

Rei: ...

(The barrier disappeared, and some of his wounds were not quite healed.)

Rei: Don't leave. This is something you wanted to go to. I don't want to ruin it for you. ' '

Vesper: ... I wanted to come here ... to see the beauty renewed in this site, however, I had no intentions to come and beat you senseless here. - -

(He walked off. She paused a moment and logged off.)

Talon: She's got her own fears. ^ ^'

(He was right behind him.)

Rei: Talon? I didn't know you were going to come. ' '

Talon: Why not? ^ ^ Woah ... ' ' you took a
good beating ... get to the infirmary or something.

Rei: No, I managed to heal most of me. - - Just, some of the burns aren't entirely healed.

Talon: What did you do? ' ' '

Rei: I got into a battle. She jumped in to assist me, but I told her that I wanted to fight my battles.

Talon: ? First, it's hard enough to see her helping anyone. Second, you must have said something else to have made her snap. '

Rei: ' Yeah ...

Talon: You didn't ... - -'

Rei: Well, it was kind of true. '

Talon: Do you know why she doesn't work with anyone? She's afraid of her own strength. That's why she hasn't leveled up in over a year. ' ' She doesn't want to hurt anyone else with her magic and it's harder to be weaker than it is to become stronger. That's why she gave up. '

Rei: (He's right, after all, this character is meant for broad power.)

(He grabbed the skeleton and threw it at the tree.)

Talon: Let's go before more of them show up. ><

Rei: I'm not leaving. What if people need help?

Talon: Hello? >< We're going to help.

Rei: Well, I thought ... never mind. ' Let's just go.

(They went to where they heard the scream and saw that Ouka already defeated all the skeletons. There was also the two avatars, Black Rose and Kite there.)

Rei: Well, I guess you don't need our assistance. '

Ouka: ! It's you. ' '

Shugo: What? - -'

Talon: ?

Rei: Yeah. ^ ^' Hey, you know, I never got your name. ' '

Ouka: It's Ouka. ' '

Talon: ! '

Rei: That's a nice name ... I'm Rei. ^ ^

Talon: Ouka? The divine fist? “

Ouka: Yeah. ^ ^

Rena: Well, I'm Rena and this is my brother, Shugo. ^ ^

Talon: ! Seems I have to go to see that wave master ... - -'

(He logged off.)

Rena: ! That wave master? ' ' The one everyone's been talking about?

Rei: Yeah. ' She used to be my mentor. '

Ouka: And the most cold hearted person yet. *

Rei: She's just ... well, I'm not sure. I guess she just worries alot. ' ' '

Shugo: I wonder if she's as good as they say she is ... (- - ) (mutters)

Rei: As I've figured out the hard way. '

(He reached for his swords again.)

Rei: I keep forgetting that I don't have them anymore. '

Ouka: ! You don't? ' '

Rei: No, I must have left them out in the field. '

Ouka: ? How can you leave your on weapon in the field? ' '

Rei: I was caught up with some things. '

Ouka: ?

Rei: ... It's not important. ^ ^'

Ouka: Okay ... ' '

Rei: I guess I wasn't cut out for weapons. I just wasn't made for wielding such things.

(Talon logged back in.)

Talon: Sorry, I was caught up in something. ^ ^'

Ouka: With the wave master? - -*

Talon: Well, yes. ' ' '

Rei: Is it something dire?

Talon: Very ... - -' Seems she's in a bit of a
rough spot ...

Rei: What do you mean?

Talon: In level eighty she was dragged in there and a high level player that she hasn't named is causing a bit of a problem. - - I'm going.

Ouka: What can you do, you're a level fifteen, she's a thirty-five and the player must be twice as strong as she! ><

Rei: ... ' I'm not sure ... I ... have to do something ... '

Ouka: ! You're actually thinking that you can help her too? ' '

Rei: I wish I was stronger, and more skilled. But, standing here would do me and her no good. - - The only thing I can say is at least I
try. ' ...

Rena: They're very strong though. ' '

Rei: I know. ' But, I can't just stand here while she needs help. - -

Talon: Well, I don't think she'd want your help after what happened ... - -'

(He went off to the gate.)

Talon: Well, I'm going.

Rei: ... I'm going too. '

Talon: ! You sure? '

Rei: It's the only thing I can do. - -

Ouka: You just be careful. -//-

Rena: Yeah. ' '

Talon: We will. ^ ^

Rei: Ouka ... I'll do my best. I will come back.

Rei: Right.

(They went to the gate and went straight to level eighty. The level was odd and dead.)

Talon: I can see why she wanted to get out. ' ' '

Rei: Let's just hurry. '

(They wandered about and came through a bush of dead leaves. Vesper was fighting Balmug for an unknown reason. She was pretty damaged, but her magic was still strong.)

Rei: She's pretty beat up. ' '”

Talon: She's never taken this much damage ... ever. '

(Balmug cut her at her legs and she fell back. She tried to use a healing spell, but he cut her at her cheek to keep her quiet.)

Vesper: ! ><”

Rei: We have to do something. “

Talon: Like what? If he's beating her then we'll just get killed. ><

Rei: And she's going to hate me for jumping in on her battle. She would be all over me about how I didn't want her in on my battle. - -'

(He struck her in the head and she didn't move.)

Talon: !

Rei: Oh, god we have to do something!”

Talon: Like what?! “

Rei: I don't know!”

Balmug: You've been a nuisance long enough on this game ... - -*

(She didn't move, but he raised his sword.)

A fight not worth fighting
(She lead him out of the level and back to th grass plains.)

Rei: Hey, have you ever heard of these ... “dot hackers?” ' ' I'm not quite what they are but everyone seems to talk about it.

?: Heard of them? Very. - - The two avatars, Black Rose and Kite, right? Or are you talking of Elk and the Heavy Blade?

Rei: ??? What?

?: Sorry, I suppose that's a bit too much information for you ... - - There are two users who play now. Black Rose as “Rena” and Kite
as “Shugo”.

Rei: ... I think I know what you're talking about.

?: The legendary hackers were Tsukasa, Mimiru, BT ... so on ... - - So which ones are you speaking of?

Rei: The newer players. I guess I heard that they won those character designs? ' '

?: Yeah. Lucky. ( - -) By the way, most players just know me by wave master. So if you must, call me by my name, Vesper.

Rei: Vesper, huh? ' ' Do you tell anyone your name other than me?

Vesper: I don't see any reason why. - - Since I'm going to be with you most of the time, I think it's nessacary.

Rei: Okay ... ' '

Vesper: I'm not as famous as the hackers though. - - I'm just straight up known as wave master.

Rei: Better than my reputation. I have none. '

Vesper: I kind of figured that. - -

Rei: Have you met the hackers? ' '

Vesper: The current ones? Lemme think ... No. - -

(They arrived to the gate.)

Rei: So, you only heard of them. ' '

Vesper: I said I didn't meet them. I've seen them, I've never met them. - -

Rei: You don't seem too ... happy about it. '

Vesper: Well, I don't see the point much in speaking of them unless we were to have come across them. Now, do you want to become better? - -

(They logged into the site and it was a very nice plain with a forest of cherry blossoms.)

Vesper: Seems Reki has out done himself this

Vesper: There's a different person on here I know ... his name is Reki. But, he is a wave master. He works with the C.C. Corpse. The people who make this game. - -

Rei: Oh. That explains a little. ' '

Vesper: He also works under Balmung.

Rei: I've heard of him. ' '

Vesper: -o Everyone has. - -

(She walked off and he followed.)

Rei: Well, I've ... never mind. - -

(He looked around.)

Vesper: ? What? ' '

(He paused for a moment and transformed.)

Vesper: ? Why did you transform?

(She sat under a cherry blossom tree and rested
her staff against it.)

Rei: I don't see why not. ' '

Vesper: So what were you going to say earlier? - -~?

Rei: I was going to say that I was new to this game. But, even new players know of him, huh? - -

Vesper: Well, yeah. He's the one who posts up the news, watches over the net ... He pretty much runs the whole place. ' '

Rei: Yes, of course.

Vesper: ... - - I wonder if he'll show up ...
(mutters)

(She leaned back against the tree.)

Rei: ...

(He walked around and sat in the middle of the field and watched the other players around.)

?: Vesper? ' '

(A wave master with a book instead of a staff approached her.)

Vesper: ! Reki. ' ' ! I mean, Shikamori. ^ ^”

Shikamori: You don't have to be so proper. ^ ^'

Vesper: Well, I have someone else with me who has just about the same name as you. ' '

Shikamori: Oh, well whatever works. ^ ^' Do you like my program?

Vesper: It's improved ... alot ... - -

(She folded her arms as though she was going to sleep.)

Shikamori: So that's the student you took under your wing? ^ ^

Vesper: Just to get him on his feet. - - After that he's on his own.

(Rei spotted him.)

(He walked over to Vesper.)

Vesper: I thought you were doing some work for Balmung. ' '

Vesper: You know you don't need my approval. ' You get better every year.

(He walked off, looking around. He came across
another wolf.)

Ouka: ... ' '

Rei: ? ... ' '

(He paused and she backed away for a moment and watched him.)

Rei: (Is she a were wolf too?) ' ' ...

Ouka: What's with you? - - Never seen a wolf before?

Rei: Well, I never met another. '

Ouka: -o So you think you're special. - - Are you strong?

Rei: Not entirely. I did manage to defeat a demon not too long ago ... '( ' ')

Ouka: Forget it then. - -

(She walked past him.)

Rei: ! Hey, wait! ' '

Ouka: What? - -

Rei: Well, I never met someone else like me ... ' ' Ah, forget it ... it's clear to me
now. - -

Ouka: What? - -*

Rei: You obviously don't want to be around anyone weak. I'm not weak, well in spirit. If anything, I don't give up. But, that's not important. - -

Ouka: No, I wanted to fight you, but never mind. - -

Rei: Fight you? ' ' ... well, I can't say I haven't fought anything far out of my league before.

Ouka: Okay then. ^ ^

(She transformed. )

Rei: '//' ... right.

(He transformed as well.)

Ouka: Well, come on. - - I want to see what you
can do.

Rei: (As does everyone. ')

(He pulled out his two swords.)

Rei: God, I still need to get these things upgraded. (mutters)

(He held a defensive stance.)

Ouka: Coward ... -o

(She punched him in the face and he fell not even seeing her movements.)

Rei: (She's real quick.) > <'

(He came at her with his swords, preparing for a counter.)

Ouka: Weapons are so weak ...

(She stepped down on his blades and punched him again. He noticed he was taking good damage to his life.)

Rei: > <”

(He stumbled back.)

Rei: My blades ... '

(He paused for a moment and Ouka took advantage and kicked him in the stomach.)

Rei: ! ><”

(He dropped to his knees.)

Rei: Is there nothing I can do? My spells are dependant on my swords. ' ...

(He stood up, a little shaken. Suddenly, Ouka's legs were frozen.)

Ouka: What the?! ><

Vesper: I don't take lightly of those who beat on my students. - -*

Ouka: ! The wave master ... *

Vesper: You okay Rei? ' '

Rei: ... - - Vesper, if you don't mind. I would like to fight my own battles. If I am to become stronger, do I not have to learn by experience?

Vesper: Are you insane? She's a level forty five. - -*

Rei: I was a level twelve when I took you on. I am not willing to give up on something that my goal strives on.

Vesper: * I have not lost to you.

Rei: You have not won against me either.

Vesper: * I don't have to deal with this. - -*

(She shattered the ice by hitting Ouka's legs and she fell back.)

Ouka: ! ><”

Rei: ... '

(He walked over to her.)

Rei: Are you okay?

Ouka: Fine ... - -'

Rei: I'm sorry that our battle was interrupted. Even though I may not have put up much of a fight, it was a challenge. But ... it was worth it.

Ouka: Sure ... '///'

(Vesper was ticked and went off.)

Rei: ^//^

(He held out his hand to help her up.)

Ouka: Well, I have to go to my team. ( '//')

Rei: Of course. ... Well, I hope that we can see each other some other time. '///'

Ouka: Maybe. ^//^'

Rei: -o I suppose I should be getting back to my mentor. ...

(He pulled out a megalixer.)

Rei: Here. I found it at the mansion. It should heal you completely, especially after that ice attack.

Ouka: Thanks. ' '

Rei: I should be going. See you soon. ^ ^

(He waved and walked off. He wandered about until he was hit in the back of the head by Vesper.)

Vesper: You test me, you know that? > <*

Rei: What? > <”

Vesper: You think you can beat me? *

(She hit him again with the staff, but it was charged with a lighting power.)

Rei: Ow! ><” ... No, but I think I can challenge you. '

Vesper: I never should have accepted you. *

(She froze him up to his waist.)

Vesper: * You speak as tough you've defeated me. You haven't! > <*

Rei: Well, you haven't quite beaten me yourself. '

Vesper: I was planning to help you on your feet, then let you go. But, I'll beat you now and send you on your way or ... I have a better idea ... *

(She put her staff to his neck and burned him severely.)

Rei: Ah! ><” What are you doing?!”

Vesper: I might just get rid of you ... *

Rei: ! Why?! I've done nothing! ><”

Vesper: No one has ever beaten me and no one
will. * You said I haven't beaten you, I'll give you the beating of your life ... **

Rei: You won't “beat” me like this! You'll only kill me! ><”

Vesper: And?! *

Rei: (I'm in a world of pain right now. Why did I get involved with her?)'

Vesper: This is the last time I open up to some one I hardly know ... *

Rei: Why is it important that you must win? You can't win all the time. ><”

Vesper: But you have not won against me. I'll be a laughing stock because of you your ignorance. *

Rei: Exactly, I haven't beat you. Why is it a big deal? ><”

Vesper: ... *

(She pressed her heated staff against his neck harder.)

Rei: Ah!” {><} I haven't beaten you nor lost to you. I've been that way before I met you and what makes that any different from now?

Vesper: You praised as though you were the god of me! * > <

Rei: So, have you fought a battle and someone jumped in for the losing side's sake? That's not being strong, that's weak! I didn't want your assistance at the time. When it is a one-on-one battle, it doesn't change.

Vesper: Remind me when you're fed to the demons ... *

Rei: yes, but I can barely live past any monster. - - and doing it with half my health wouldn't change anything.

?: ... Do you honestly expect me to help you?

Rei: Well ... yeah. '

?: You are gravely mistaken ... - -

Rei: So I've figured. - -'

?: You said you wanted to join me, so be it. But, you have to be stronger. If you beat me or get to the top first before I, I'll consider otherwise ...

Rei: Fine.

(She smirked looking for a good challenge and left him to find his own way out.)

Rei: -o I have to get to the top ... - -

(He began to climb out of the trap. He came to the edge and pulled himself out.)

Rei: -o I can't believe she'd go to such lengths. - -'

(He ran off to the stairs. He soon ran into two wolves.)

Rei: ! Oh, no ... - -'

(One of them jumped up and shot fire at him.)

Rei: Ah! > <”

(He fell back and his cloak came undone. He lost a good amount of health and the other wolf came at him.)

Rei: !

(He quickly lept back and tried to use a control spell. The wolves froze and laid down.)

Rei: -o - - ... it worked. ' '

(He rushed to the stairs before him and made it to the roof, but a winged black demon was there. It's level was twenty.)

Rei: ! (How am I going to beat this?) '

(He noticed his speed stats increased, but saw no one that increased it for him. The demon came at him and he quickly dodged the attack.)

Rei: ! How did I do that? ' '

?: You didn't. - -

(She sat on the edge of the roof behind the demon.)

?: Summoning spells can do wonders ...

Rei: You summoned that? '

?: Yes.

Rei: ! '

?: I said either beat me or come to the roof before me. An easy win like this isn't enough ... This monster is about half the level I am ... if you can't beat it ... then I see no reason for you being here ...

Rei: Then I'll take on your demon. - -

?: I hoped as much ... ^-^

(The demon took flight and flew about the building.)

Rei: ... '

(He pulled out his two swords.)

?: Feh, you'll need more than a physical attack to defeat my demon ...

Rei: I know ... - -

(It came at him and dove down to knock him off the building.)

Rei: !

(He held up his swords and countered the dive. The demon used it's claws and swiped at him.)

Rei: Darn it. '

(He lept back and tried to use a control spell but it shattered.)

?: (laughs) It's all ready under my control ... don't bother ... ^-^

Rei: ' ... (with captured monsters I can either summon them or use their power. And since summoning wont do me much in this situation ...)

(He rose his hand and a blue light glowed. He then took on the form of a wolf.)

?: !

(The demon knocked him to the edge.)

Rei: ! ><

(He hung by the edge and then used the fire attack. The demon backed away and growled. Thunder sounded in the sky and rain poured.)

?: ... *

Rei: What's going on?

?: Seems there's a storm ... (no advantage for my demon) ...*

(The demon couldn't fly any more and he seemed to catch on.)

Rei: (It can't fly during this storm.) ' ' ...

(He used the fire attack again. The demon backed away and cut into him.)

Rei: ! > <”

(He backed up and then bit the demon. The demon thrashed about.)

Rei: ><'

(He clung onto the demon.)

?: Demon ... get rid of him. *

(He fell down and tried to fight the paralysis. The demon knocked him to the edge of the building and he shot a fire at his neck. The collar shattered and the demon turned to the girl.)

?: ! Don't you dare turn on me ... *

(She backed away and the demon came to her. She tried to use a different spell, but it knocked her staff out of her hand.)

?: ! *

Rei: !

(He got up and ran over to the demon and bit it on it's neck.)

?: ! ' '

(The demon thrashed about.)

Rei: ><

(He then flipped over and threw the demon off the roof.)

?: ... You actually won ...

(She went over and picked up her staff.)

Rei: -o I didn't think I could have ... - -

(his level went up by four.)

?: ... This is a first ... - -

Rei: What is?

?: Loosing control of my monster ... - -

Rei: Well, at least it's gone. - -

?: ... * Yeah , but I never thought I'd loose to a level much lower than I ...

Rei: Don't think of “you” loosing ... it was more of the “demon”. ' '

?: ... - -

Rei: Well, I've done what I've done. You can take the treasure.

?: I already got it ... - -

(He struggled to keep the wolf form, running low on magic.)

Rei: One moment.

(He changed back and a little window popped up.)

Rei: ? ' '

(He read it.)

Rei: ... Looks like I've mastered a few abilities. ' ' ...

?: So you have ... - -

Rei: Hey, what was the treasure? ' '

?: The treasure ... a stronger clothing that increases my speed. Why? - -

Rei: You don't seem to happy about it.

?: Please, - -* I got what I wanted ...

Rei: So, we still have our deal?

Rei: Don't tell me you've forgotten. '

?: Unfortunately ... - -

Rei: You know, our deal? If I beat you, I could join you.

(She used her magic and restored his health.)

(She raised her staff and used a spell that raised her defense. She equipped the new rare item and it was a black, witch like outfit.)

?: (smirks) Even my magic is different ...

Rei: (Why did I do this?) '

(He pulled out his swords)

?: Let's begin,

(She used a fire spell and shot fire balls to him.)

Rei: !

(He lept back and threw his swords at her. She dodged, but took a sword to her shoulder.)

?: ! >< ... - -

(She drew out the blade and tossed it aside.)

Rei: ! ... '

?: A good toss, but it'll take a little bit more to take care of me ... - -

Rei: I'm out of options ...

(He then transformed into his wolf form)

?: As am I ... - -

(She knocked her staff on the ground and lightning was brimming from her staff with power.)

Rei: ! '

(He quickly shot fire at her. She absorbed it into her staff.)

?: Useless ... I am not like the demon you fought. *

Rei: ! (I don't think I can win this.) '

(She used the lightning from her staff and shocked him.)

Rei: Augh!! > <”

?: I told you ... I warned you. This is why I work alone ... - -*

(She ceased her magic.)

Rei: I can't do anything ... go ahead ... finish me. - -'

(She stared at him for a moment and then lowered her staff.)

?: I had high expectations ... - - To think I wasted time on some one much lower than I ...

Rei: Fine ...

(He stumbled to his feet.)

Rei: I won't give up until I exhaust myself.

(He ran over to her in attempts to bite her. She let him bite her and stood still.)

?: Satisfied, child? - -

Rei: ...

(He released her.)

Rei: So ... I guess I leveled for nothing?

?: Not quite ...

(She knocked him back with her staff.)

Rei: ! ><' Hey!

?: Your decisions are quick to change ... First you wish to find a team of your own. Then, you wish to join me. Then, you find someone willing to join you and eager to help you. Then, you still chase after your desire to join me for what? Power? - -

Rei: Not power. I just want to be recognized and not be avoided. - -

Rei: No, I don't want to be a shadow. I want to be a player.

(He looked over the edge of the roof and paused for a moment.)

(She used a healing spell to heal both Rei and her.)

Ester: Well, come on, Rei. - -* We've spent enough time here with the “Ice queen”.

(She logged out.)

Talon: Don't take it too hard she's just a little upset. She'll be fine by the morrow. - -

(He logged out.)

Rei: I feel bad about letting them down. '

?: Look, if you're going to regret this I can cut the deal right now. - -

Rei: Hmm ... - - I'm a level twelve and still have no team. And, no one wants me to join their team.

(He looked around the town.)

Rei: And barely enough money to upgrade any of my weapons. - -

(He sat down on the steps to the gate.)

Rei: Why does everyone treat new players like they have a plague or something? - -

(A young player entered into the game. She had purple hair and eyes and was a wave master. He had never seen her before.)

?: Hmmm ... - - What rare items in this town ...

Rei: ? ' '

(He stood up and removed his hood. He had silver hair with wolf ears. And he had blue eyes.)

?: ' '~? Who is he? (mutters)

Rei: (I wonder if she's new here ...) ' '

?: (A werewolf player ... he must either be good or just lucky.) - -

(She walked past him.)

Rei: ! W-wait! ' '”

?: ! You're talking to me?

Rei: Um ... yeah ... I couldn't help but notice that your a little different from the other players. ' '

(He slipped on his hood and stood up.)

(She raised her staff.)

(He pulled out two copper swords.)

(She swept her staff beneath his feet causing him to fall back.)

(He landed and held up his swords defensively.)

(She used the other end of her staff and injured him at his shoulder.)

(He pulled out a potion. Her staff glowed and she casted a ice spell, freezing his hand with the potion to the ground.)

?: This is a waste. - -

(Her staff glowed again as she chanted.)

Rei: ! W-wait! ><

(She paused a moment, she stopped her chanting, but the staff still glowed.)

Rei: You can't kill me. ><”

?: (laughs) ^ ^ You're joking. - -

Rei: I'm not.

(He removed his hood.)

?: ! You again ...

(She lowered her staff and it stopped glowing.)

Rei: I figured I could come here and take the challenge. But, your too strong. - -

?: No, I'm just more skilled. - -

(She extended her hand to him.)

Rei: ' ' ... one moment.

(He tried to free his hand from the ice. She tapped her staff on the ice and it shattered.)

?: Yeah ... apparently you have a lot to learn. - -'

(She helped him to his feet. The crowd dispersed and she turned to leave.)

Rei: I don't know her name ... but she's a strong wave master. '

Talon: As I figured from the fight with that wave master.

Rei: I don't understand why you're mad at me. '

Talon: She's just jealous. ^ ^' Rivals with that wave master for a long while.

?: Well, how ironic is this? - -

(She appeared out of the shadow.)

Ester: Rare items can boost a character's stats ... you can also get some awesome rare costumes that will sell for a fortune. *

Rei: (Ester has a short temper with this wave master.) ' '

(She walked off and two knights came out of hiding. With a quick turn, she deleted them.)

?: My patience is running thin.

(She went on ahead.)

Rei: (What have I gotten myself into?) '

Ester: * Let's get there now!

Talon: ! ... - -'

Rei: (She's so pushy when it comes to competition. ' ... And she seemed so nice. ')

(They went ahead to the next level of the mansion and found many bats came to them, taking their magic.)

Talon: Crap! Ester! ><

Rei: ! “

(He then pulled out an elixer.)

Rei: Here take this ... in the mean time ... '

(I hope this works)

(She opened it and used it to regain most of her
magic and quickly casted a lighting spell which rid of all the bats.)

Ester: -o Thanks. - -

Rei: I try ... '

(The floor collapsed beneath them and they grabbed the vines before falling.)

Ester: What the?! This isn't part of the level! ><”

Rei: It isn't?! “

?: Sorry to cut your journey short, but I don't need anyone getting in my way ... - -

Ester: You?! *><

Rei: You didn't have to do this!”

?: Why? - - As much as I would like to see the potential in you Rei, I can't afford such minor annoyances. ' '

Rei: Is that important that you risk our lives for an item? > <”

?: Don't worry, you would have fallen into the basement and that's it. - -

Rei: That still would've been quite some damage. > <'

?: Not enough to kill you ... ^ ^

(She turned to leave.)

Rei: ? Oh, come on! You can't just let us stay here! > <”

?: You're right ...

(She raised her staff and used an ice spell to turn the vines into ice.)

Talon: ! Ah! ><

(Ester and Talon slid down and fell into the basement.)

Rei: That's not what I mean! “

(He let go and dug his hand into the wall.)

?: Well, I could have left you there, but if I help you, you don't get any stronger ... - -

GUILT (Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin) is a group of deadly manmade parasites that start to infect patients as the story advances. There are seven strains that the player encounters in the game:

Kyriaki (ÊõñéáêÞ) - A lamprey-like parasite that makes lacerations to organs.
Deftera (ÄåõôÝñá) - A mobile tumor that comes in two types which attack each other on contact.
Triti (Ôñßôç) - A triangle shaped membrane mass that slowly petrifies affected organs.
Tetarti (ÔåôÜñôç) - A virus that comes in three types and affects the liver. Creates poisonous abscesses.
Pempti (ÐÝìðôç) - A gelatinous liquid mass that infects the lungs and targets the nervous system.
Paraskevi (ÐáñáóêåõÞ) - A fibrous worm-like virus that also makes lacerations as it moves. It first starts out in the intestines. When threatened, it moves through the body until it reaches the heart, where it will then kill the host.
Savato (ÓÜââáôï) - A spider-like virus that wraps a web around the heart and drains it of energy, thus personified as death incarnate. This strain is the most deadly and can move at incredible speeds.
Strain names are transliterated Greek days of the week, starting from Sunday.
