Worst Day Ever
Well, today may just have been the most painful (mentally) one of my life. I was driving home, and, at the intersection of Bloomingdale and Lithia Pinecrest, and a Sheriff pulled up behind me, and he had his lights on.
I, of course, pulled over, and the guy pulled me out of my car and arrested me. He said that a person matching my description had robbed a gas station and fled the scene.
Now, I'm scared to death, but I also know I have nothing to worry about, really; I'm innocent.
I get in the back of his car, and he drives me to the station. I ask him what will happen to my car, and the jerk starts yelling at me; he calls me a punk, and tells me to shut up.
We get to the station, and I'm set into this cramped little room, supposedly for questioning. Fortunatly, I know my rights; I wanna' be a lwyer, after all.
I tell the guy that I do'nt want to talk unless I have someone representing my interests, and he starts freaking out on me and yelling again. Apparently, by exercising my Constitutional Rights, I'm only proving my guilt. He demands that I confess to the crime I'm accussed of, and tells me that I'll rot in jail if I don't.
Now, at this point, I'm freaking out myself, but in a different way. I'm white as a sheet, scared out of my mind, and start babbling to him how I didn't do anything.
This goes on until another Sheriff rescues me from the psycho and takes me into another room in the back. I stand in a police line-up next to some of the grungiest, nastiest looking guys I've ever seen.
As a guy in a spiffy Spider-Man shirt, I feel totally out of place.
We turn, then turn again, and I assume that a wittness selected other people, because myself and one other guy were told that we could leave.
Well, I'm more relieved than you could ever imagine, but as Im' leaving, that same sheriff comes out and starts swearing at me. He says I'm a punk, and that he's going to keep an eye out for me.
I was too scared to ask for a ride back to my car, so I walked the whole way back to it. The walk and subsequent drive home were not pleasant at all.
I kind of thought my first encounter with the real legal system would be more pleasant.

Things happen
My friend Ernesto has broken his leg, and is currently in a wheelchair; the doctor didn't want him to put any weight on it. He'll be laid up for several days.
So, we're chipping in to buy him a get well present. Specifically, Biancca Bear. And only Stephanie knows what the hell I just meant.
Anyway, I had several things to do today, and I did them. ^__^
*Wash my car
*Submit the avatars I made to the OB
*Listen to Squeez Singles 45 and Under, because I've wanted to again ever since Steph mentioned them
*Clean my room
*Get brown paper lunch bags
*Respond to my e-mail
*Post this message
Wow, I'm effecient.
Thought of the moment: Go see my avies, and use them if ya' want. I'm gonna' make more...

Weekend Update, with DeathBug
Whew...have a lot of stuff to cover, so I'd best get on with it.
First, to Li-C: cheer up, and remember what I told you last night. It's okay. ^__^
Bandit: Didja' get the PM I sent you?
Also, i e-mailed the following people, but I'm not sure if the mail went through, because it didn't for Li-C. Write me back if you got it: Stephanie, RyoTas, Myssy...well, that's actually it. ^^;
Ahem. So, Friday at around Noon, I'm coming home, and what should happen? Why, my stick shift should suddenly disengage and my car should decide to stop moving forward, on the corner of Lithia Pinecrest and Lumsden.
Yeah...two hours later, my car is in a repair shop. It happens. Butt hats not what is sadly ironic.
When I arrive home, I get a call from my friend Ernesto. Turns out he broke his leg playing in the park withh is cousins. Ow.
He needs to know if he can get a ride to/from school for a while. I hope the irony is not lost on you.
Fortunatly, the problem was a simple connection wire, so I've got my wheels back. Yay.
My father's birthday was yesterday, and there was cake. He recieved the complete Dilbert series on DVD. Fun fort he whole family, I tell you. Dogbert is the man.
And this is the last day of Spring Break. I've got schoolwork to do to prep for tomorrow, so I'm gonna' head out of here. Buh-bye.
Thought of the moment: A whole MONTH of studying for all six AP tests...what fun...

Now I'm back, as if from outer space
Well, one and all, I have returned! ^__^ *hugs*
So, how was my vacation, you ask? Well...
On Sunday morning, we arrived at Universal Studios. We spent the whole first day at the original theme park. My youngest sister, Macey, was freaked out by...well, everything. However, I quickly rode Men In Black: Alien Attack (Good), EarthQuake (Fun, but not intense), Jaws (Very fun), Back to the Future (A little dated), and...well, that was it, actually.
I was a wee bit disappointed to see that they removed the King Kong ride, though. Sure, it was lame, but it had camp appeal.
Oh, and a word of warning for the Back to the Future Ride: don't sit in the back row if you're tall. the damn thing kept slamming my head into the roof; I had a killer headache when I was done.
We went too our hotel, which was a pretty decent one my mom hooked up with through military agencies. We apparently got a huge discount, and a surprise: an entirely different suite adjoining ours. It was a large master bedroom with a full bathroom and king size bed.
Turns out we weren't supposed to get it, but hey, whatever. There was a mess in the manager’s office when my mom made darn sure we wouldn’t be charged extra for getting access to a room we didn’t request, so they let us use it. ^__^ I stayed there. Yay.
The next day, we went to Islands of Adventure. IoA, for those who haven’t been, is a vastly superior park. We explored, in quick succession, Super Hero Island, Toon Landing, Jurassic Park land, the Lost Continent and Seuss Land.
Well, here’s the breakdown: Super Hero Island kicked arse, but I’m not impartial. We barely even stopped in Toon Landing, but Seuss world was fun. (My sister got a picture with the Grinch!) Jurassic Park was interesting, and had many great photo ops. (I didn’t want to get wet, though, so I skipped the river rapid.)
The Lost Continent was…ehh, I’ve seen better.
I rode every ride in the super hero island. The best, in my totally biased opinion, was the Spider-Man adventure. It was the most innovative, in any event. The Hulk coaster was neat and all, but a roller coaster is a roller coaster is a roller coaster. The Spidey ride combined the MiB ride with Back to the Future, with several killer effects.
The lamest ride, by far, was Doctor Doom’s Fear Fall. It was such a weak little ride. Gah.
Anyway, some tips I have for you: First, the single rider line is much, much faster than the alternatives. If you don’t mind your party being broken up, go for it.
Second, don’t buy things from their gift shops. Instead, buy them from the various surplus outlets in the malls around the area. All of my souvenirs, save my pressed pennies, came from a surplus shop with cheaper prices.
Third…well, okay, there is no “third” bit of advice. ^^; My bad.
The next day, we ate at Waffle House, that great staple of American dining, and went to spend the day at my Grandmother’s house. Wh00t.
For souvenirs, I got: A set of the four pressed pennies you could get at the exit of the spider-Man Ride, an exclusive Universal Studies marvel comic, an action figure of the Green Goblin from the spider-Man movie, and the Ultimate Venom action figure/statue. Primo haul, indeed.
But now I am back. And, on my first day back, I got in a fight online with Altron Gundam. Sure, his name isn’t Altron Gundam anymore, seeing as he has a new one every time he’s banned for picking fights, but I’m not gonna’ bother rememberizing the new one. ^^;
I know I shouldn’t let it bug me, but I’m not going to let him diss the OB Yu-Gi-Oh players. Well, I’m over it, now. He’ll be banned again in a week or so, anyway.
I’m seeking a new job, and I’ve found one that’s perfect. It’s not a fast food or retail job, but an entry-level white-collar position at Progressive Auto Insurance. Strictly clerical, but I can handle it. The pay is nice, as well. Here’s hoping I get it.
Now that I’m back, I want to write to Stephanie, Ryo-Chan, and Bandit. I haven’t chatted with either of them in a while. There’s probably other stuff I should do, but I can’t rightly remember.
Thought of the moment: The Universal rides all used fire. It’s the theme park of pyromaniacs!

Quizzes!
You have an angry soul! Angry Souls arent always angry, but they cannot easily forgive and hold grudges. You probably often get in fights with your friends and family, and its difficult for you to understand. When someone makes a mistake, you dont let go easily and hold on to those memories. Your very stubborn and your rage is known to everyone. Though you never actually mean it, you can say mean things in a fight and go over board. Many people are sometimes intimidated by your anger. But you have many redeeming qualities and those are that you are quite intelligent and smart. You would make a good businesswoman or lawyer because you know how to prove your point. You cherish the ones around you, and appreciate life, even though you can complain or throw a tantrum now and then. The good things is, you keep your emotions very outspoken, and are normally a very happy person because all your rage is let on the outside. Anger is simply a state, but you, yourself as a person, are great.

You are the envision of nothingness. You are a grey angel. Your wings are invisible, and as plain as your soul, which has been stripped bare of all emotions and feelings. But because of this, you are ruthless, strong, and can't be out willed. You are always silent. Barely any words escape your lips. You are in a complete world of your own, no-one gets in. And that's the way that you like it.
You have been aorund since the beginning of the world, so you have seen all. You know all. And there is no being wiser that you. You are a god in your own eight. But choose not to be. Is it bad that I don't know who he is?
You are an individual. Ones are independant, focused, single-minded, and determined. In other words, you set a goal and stick to it. You're are a leader and an inventor. Which is all very good. On the other hand, you find it difficult to work with others and don't like to take orders. You can be self-centered and domineering. Probably why Ones are often loners. Please rate my quiz.

That's so accurrate that it's scary.
You are Form 9, Vampire: The Undying.
"And The Vampire was all that remained on the blood drowned creation. She attempted to regrow life from the dead. But as she was about to give the breath of life, she was consumed in the flame of The Phoenix and the cycle began again."
Some examples of the Vampire Form are Hades (Greek) and Isis (Egyptian).
The Vampire is associated with the concept of death, the number 9, and the element of fire.
Her sign is the eclipsed moon.
As a member of Form 9, you are a very realistic individual. You may be a little idealistic, but you are very grounded and down to earth. You realize that not everything lasts, but you savor every minute of the good times. While you may sometimes find yourself lonely, you have strong ties with people that will never be broken. Vampires are the best friends to have because they are sensible.
Which Mythological Form Are You? brought to you by Quizilla

You belong in the world of balance, where everything has two sides and everything is not always what it appears on the outside. Of course, if you have a sense of humor, you may find employment as a sarcastic comedian. If not, enjoy the choices that are presented to you through life, they will always have two sides to them, one which leads you to the light, and the other which entrenches you in darkness. Walk on with hope, my friend.

Good bye for now
I'll be on vacation for the next few days, but I'll write as soon as I get back. ^__^
So, I went to Epcot yesterday, and wandered around myself the entire time. For this,I blame Stephanie. If she was still here, she'd have come with me, so at least I'd have been with one other person. ^__^; Just kidding, Steph. :P
Yeah....I saw a Beatles cover band, and a Scottish pop group with a bagpipe. I got a ton of Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh cards (Black Magician Girl! Don Zaruug! With actual pistols!) and spoke Spanish to all the staff. It was a pretty good day, except I later realized how pathetic I was for going to a theme park and spending the day alone. At least I got German gummi bears.
And...Yu-Gi-Oh today was just plain wierd. Seriously, I couldn't keep track of what was going on. Who was on who's side? What? It was all over the place...
Well, at least we got a cool scene with Marik blowing things up. ^__^
Oh, I've finally decided to flood my page with Quizzes! Check back later tonight to see the results.
Thought of the moment: I'm selling my English Yu-Gi-oh cards and switching to Japanese...

A Nice, Happy Post
After a few depressing or brief posts, I'm gonna' talk about Yu Yu Hakusho tonight. I've been watching it for a while now, and am well into the Dark Tournament.
Well, first, Kuwabara is my favorite character on the show. He has some oft he show's best moments, and is such a total goofball, it's fun to watch. ^__^
Kurama is my second fave, but he lacks the great character moments that Kuwabara has.
I'm also totally crushing on Koto, the announcer for the dark tournament. I hope she sticks around; she's a fun character.
Kuwabara's sister is also...interesting, to say the least, but she does'nt get much screen time. IMO, she deserves more than Keiko.
As odd as it is, I really thibnk teen Koenma is cool. If he'd just ditch the pacifier, hed' be downright awesome. I want to see him fight.
Sadly, Toonmai will iend next month, and my access to YYH will be limited. Alas.
Thought of the moment: I need to take some more quizzes....

Damn it, Espana....
I still feel a great sense of loss as a result of the tradegy that struck Spain. However...
The reaction they had to these events is, to be frank, horrible. Europe will suffer because of this.
As everyone knows, a terrorist organization, now believed to be Al Quieda, bombed a train in Madrid last week. The explosion killed over two hundred people, and wounded about (I believe) one-hundred and fifty more.
This is a horrible and senseless waste of human life, and a further example of how deranged and disgusting these organizations are.
However....the people of Spain, when electing their president on Sunday, suddenly pulled a one-eighty. Prior to this attack, all the polls showed the former administration in Spain being re-elected in a massive political landslide. This administration was a supporter of US President Bush's operation in Iraq.
After this attack, the electorate flipped, and elected a socialist into office. The new President has already declared that he will withdraw all support from Iraq.
Okay, what just happened here?
1. Al Quida just changed the corse of a nation's domestic politics to their advantage.
2. Al Quida has just been emboldened.
3. The tactics that *didn't* freeze up or paralyze the US after 9/11 worked in Spain.
So....Europe is basically screwed.
If you don't see this, think about it: Al Quida got what they wanted. The operation in Iraq have suffered a blow with the removal of the Spanish forces in the coalition.
So, their new plan is simple: strike on the eve of elections. This will happen all over Europe now.
However, I don't think, as some people have speculated, that Al Quida will strike the US in October. After all, after 9/11, President Bush's approval rating went through the roof. The US is historically inclined to keep leaders during times of crisis. (FDR was elected President four time).
Seeing as Bush is the last man Al Quida wants in office, it would not be wise to strike the US prior to elections.
The countries that really need to be on guard are Great Britain and FRance. GB is a major supporter of the war effort. France has been mentioned by name by al Quieda terrorists, particularly regarding their treatment of Muslims within their own country.
It's a wee bit upsetting. Like I said before, it is terrible that Spain was attacked, and I am very saddened by it. However, they reacted thee ntirely wrong way, and the rest of Europe is in danger.
