At times like this, it's obvious
For your entertainment, here are my top five most consistant typing errors.
1. Misplaced spacing. Itsh ard to readw ords liket his.
2. Misplaced punctuation. Im' suprised if you hadnt' noticed.
3. Hitting two keys at once. TRhis ios asn exam,ple.
4. Lining my fingers over the keyboard the wrong way. This is a mistake becomes Rgjz jz q k8z6qo3.
5. Hitting the shift key too late or too soon. It's evident when I say names, like sTeven, sUsan or sAm.
I hope that was informative.
Today, I saw Invasion of Chaos packs at Wal-Mart, so I bought one. The good news is, I pulled a super rare. The bad news is, it's Reload. Reload, the most useless rare in the whole set. --; (Li-C takes credit for this smilie.)
Say it with me: Trade bait.
Boy, I'm not going to work at all next week. two normal days, then a half day, then a party day, then a field trip. ^__^ We're watching the Nightmare Before Christmas in my PC class. Why? Because we can. There will be pizza.
Thought of the moment: The fox-girl announcer in Yu Yu Hakusho is named Koto. She's kind of cute. Yeah, if I were a YYH demon, I'd date her.

Scotty Doesn't Know!
I’d already started posting this, then my computer froze. Agh. --;
I’m listening to the Mihoshi midi on the Otaku jukebox. It calms me down and gets me into a zen-like state. If anyone knows of a site with midis that will be accepted by myOtaku, please let me know. ^^:
So, I’ve been busy for the past few days, but, interestingly enough, not busy at all today.
My mom’s finally planned the family vacation, set for Spring break weekend (March 20th.) She’s renting a small condo in Orlando for a couple of days while we visit Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. Ironically, the day prior is the Spanish Honor Society’s trip to Epcot. Ahh, the joys of living 45 minutes from Orlando.
I’ll need some cash…
My pal Ernesto and I saw EuroTrip on Friday. That was a hilarious movie. ^__^ It’s got to be the best teen comedy I’ve seen in a long while. Sure, there were parts I didn’t care for (Nazi jokes are never funny), but on the whole, it was great. It also had a killer soundtrack; I want to pick it up.
This will, by the way, be the only movie this year where you’ll meet a British soccer hooligan who will discuss world politics and break beer bottles over his head in the same scene. ^__^ I love that guy.
One of the previews before the film was the one for the remake of Dawn of the Dead. That really freaked me out, in a way no movie ever has before,
I know it’s hard to tell if I’m kidding or not, but I’m dead serious: that preview scared the crap out of me.
An eight-year-old girl gets zombie-fied and mauls her father right in front of her mother. A pregnant woman’s baby becomes a zombie inside of her. It’s just scary, okay?
I’m not sure if I should see the movie, and look my fear right in the eye, or never see it, knowing it would seriously disturb be. Either way, that movie is f**ked up.
Saturday morning was the big community yard sale; yay? I had to sit and watch our sale while my mother went to other sales, thus totally defeating the purpose of selling stuff off to begin with. --;
Eventually, I got to look around, too. The whole event was a disorganized mess, IMO, and I didn’t find my yard sale holy grail: a set of the nine Beast Machines McDonald’s happy meal toys from ’99. (So far, I have 1…) I did get a Digimon card starter set for a quarter, though. I have cardboard DemiDevimon!
(Interestingly enough, the Digimon cards are the size and quality of the Yu-Gi-Oh cards as they appear in the anime, not the smaller, flimsier ones we have in real life. Hmm…)
Speaking of Yu-Gi-Oh, Ernesto and I feel gypped that they cut the scene where Kuriboh bites Noah. We really wanted to see that!
Well, at least we have my new favorite lil’ monster, the Inaba White Rabbit! Now, I knew that IWR was one of Bandit’s ‘puppies’, but I didn’t really get it. It was a rabbit, but what the hell was it perched on? What was it doing?
It is a rabbit, perched on a futuristic launch pad, which propels it though the air on a rocket-powered pogo stick. It then proceeds to pound the living daylights out of whatever it lands on.
That is the coolest thing ever.
I am a believer, Bandit. ^__^
(It’s things like this that make me question if there’s anything toxic in the drinking water in Japan. And if so…where can I get some?)
Oh, and are Yugi and Noah both total idiots? “I’m going to unleash my ultimate attack on you while you have one trap face down. No, I don’t think it’ll blow up in my face…” It was nice to see all three Dark Magicians, though. Very cool. (I’d always thought that Magician of Black Chaos was just a powered-up version of the normal Dark Magician. Live and learn.)
Teen Titans was moderately interesting, though I kind of saw where it was going. The last scene was funny, though. ^_^ Ah, Starfire; she’s hilarious.
One question, though: last week, Terra joined the team and moved into the tower. Why wasn’t she in the opening part of the episode?
Transformers-Energon: The bitch is back. Megatron returns, and promptly beats the crap out of,…well, durn near everybody. Alpha Q, Scorponok, Hot shot (Yes!)….Megs really went to town.
Also, I have officially made piece with Kicker. The way he outwitted the Ravage Terrorcons…very nice.
Ninja Turtles: They finally saved Quarry and the other monster people. Yay! And they did it in one episode, rather than the three it took to introduce Quarry and the monster people…
Do I sense a lil’ attraction between Don and Sidney?
Shaman King: It’s official: Ryu’s collar bugs the crap out of me. The cuffs are fine, butt he collar’s over-doing it so much…he’s still my favorite, for several reasons. ^__^
So, did I call it right or what? The tall one and the short one were the rogue Shaman gals, not Ryu and Manta. Kinda’ convenient that Yoh left the cave just in time.
And what was in that cave, anyway? Yoh’s grandpa made it sound a lot different than what we saw Ryu experience….interesting…
Man…I’m tired. Shout out to Stephanie and Li-C! ^__^
Thought of the moment: I need a picture background for this site….

DeathBug Solves a Mystery...
Well, I finally figured out why I've been so restless and apathetic lately. Turns out I'm tired. I feel incredibly stupid for not realizing this, but by starting to stay up later, I'm screwing up my whole internal clock. Back on schedual for me, I guess.
So, my school is running the FCAT test for the freshmen and sophomores, so I didn't have to go in until 10:55 for the past two days. ^__^ Sleep pwns.
And in other news, John Kerry is definatly going to run against George W Bush in the 04 election. All I have to say is, if Kerry's the only alternative, go Bush.
(Remember, you can't spell John Kerry without Joker.)
I don't really have anything to say, so I'll stop wasting your time.
Thought of the moment: I'm watching Yu Yu Hakushu re-runs...that's some pretty good stuff, there.

DeathBug-Accept no substitues!
Ow.
I'm so tired, I hurt in places I don't even use. It's been a rough weekend, with enough homework to....uh...well, damn...ca'nt finish my analogy...
The only reprieve I had was a trip to Wal-Mart and the comic store yesterday afternoon. Even whilst watching cartoons, I was working. ;_;
My current love is the Spong monkies, the lil' mutant Bush Babies that advertise for Quizno's subs. If you want to see how they got their start, go to www.rathergood.com, and search for We Like The Moon. Classic stuff.
I'm tired, so I'll stop babbling and do reviews.
Shonen Jump:
Shaman King: Always a pleasure. ^__^ Silva's actually cool in the manga; i think he' a dork in the anime. I must say, though, Amidamaru in Over Soul mode looks freaky...like a frog...
Hikaru No Go: Wow, Akira got whipped. Bummer. Hikaru freaked out. Cool. Some upstart punk. Can't wait to see him get beat.
Naruto: Wow, that was graphic. Poor Haku. Heck, poor Sasuke. The cast is dropping like flies, and then Gato shows up. I can't wait to see how this ends. ^__^
One Piece: It's so hard to take this seriously when the bad guys are a pair of transvestite cats and Micheal Jackson. Zoro's still cool, though.
DBZ: Boy, Cell's a whiner. So Vegeta's kicking you all over the place? Go with it! These things happen. Sigh.
Yu Yu Hakushu: 1 Saint Beast down, three to go. Times like these remind of just how much Kurama kicks arse.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Wow, Yugi beat Kaiba. By summoning Exodia. Didn't see that coming.
At least we get a new story, but I'm afraid virtual love testsers seem mundane after what jut happened. Ah, well. At least there were some funny Yugi/Anzu moments.
Spectacular Spider-Man #10: The finale to Spider-Man's showdown with Doctor Octopus, and it's a big one. When Ock's plan falls apart, he runs for it, leading to an intense heart-to-heart between Spidey and Ock in the sewers.
We also get to see the final fate of the Kiwi Kid. Nice.
Crimson Dynamo: I bought this on a whim; it's about a Russian slacker teen who finds the control helmet to a secret, formerly docile suit of battle armor. Thing is, he does'nt know what it is. He thinks it's just some super-de-dooper TV helmet. As he's watching the best and worse every channel in the world has to offer, he's unwittingly control the body of the armor, bringing it closer to him.
Did I mention that the Russian military is tracking the armor? Yeah, i'ts cool.
Jackie Chan: re-run.
Xia Lin Showdown: Pretty standard fare, except this episode had an evil Mime, who was magic for some reason. Whatever. Anything that features a mime punching himself out is cool in my books.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Man, Noah really, really sucks. How in the bloody hell to you mess up a 7000 point lead?! How'd he do it?! I do'nt know, but he did!
Anyway, I already know how Yugi's getting out of this attack. Hint: Nutrient Z.
Transformers-Energon: So, Demolisher is the new Starscream? I hope they don't drag his indecision out forever. I want it resolved by next episoide, at the most. Dangling plot threads are annoying.
Two other interesting things to note: I'm actully forgetting how much i loathed Kicker from the first two episodes! ^__^
Also, the Terrorcons seem to be talking now. It's random, and I do'nt think I like it.
Teen titans: With Terra officially on the team, is Raven still the cutest Titan? Yes, yes she is. ^^;
Destroying the Titan's base seemed like a rather mundane thing for Slade to do, didn't it? And it didn't seem very smart to be so incredibly obvious in its intent...
But at least we got a new Titan. ^__^
Shaman King: Ryo came back, so you know this was cool. ^__^ But what's up with his collar? Is he sharing starch with Kaiba, now?
Hmm...two strange Shaman girls who wanted to kill Ryo for no apparent reason? Huh, got my attention. Gee, and I wonder who that strange ghost who helped Ryo out was. :P
So..Yoh's going into a dark cave alone for a week. His grandpa sure talked that thing up, huh? Hope he's okay. This episode also shows one of the few hints that Anna really does love Yoh. You have to look for it, though. If ya blink, ya miss it. ^^;
And who the heck's that girl at thee nd with the demented critters? And when she says 'tall one and short one' bringing evil, does she mean Morty and Ryo or the two girls from earlier? Gah, so confused!
Ninja Turtles: Why isn't Leatherhead Cajun?! He can be smart, and a good guy, but he should still be Cajun!
At least we found out that he was the strange creature that escaped the TCI building. And I'm glad his partner was Stockman, and not Shredder.
Now all we have is a Triceradon on the loose...
Thought of the momeny: Echo! Echo! Echo! Boy, the Ramones were cool...I wanna' be sedated!
Quote of the moment: "It's eight fourteen and I'm ridin' down the road; I've got the wind in my hair, and the bugs in my nose! My pal Morty's with me, so I'm driving slow! Oh no!" -Ryo, "Shaman King"

DeathBug Does Dallas
I have learned more about France in the past week than I ever cared to.
My Comparative Government class is studying France. Now, like any sane, normal human, I don't like the French. However, I now have historical evidence to back up my opinion on the French, that opinion being that I do'nt like them.
I actually feel a bit sorry for them; they've been embarassed quite a few times in the last couple of decades. Then again, they're the ones that put themselves in that position in the first place. Ah, well.
Why can't the French be cool, like the British? I love the British; those guys rock. ^___^
The past few days have been uneventful; I have a bunch of homework to do tomorrow...that's about it..
Oh, yeah, the Sadie Hawkins dance at my school was cancelled. Apparently, no one was going to attend. Bummer, huh?
Well, live and learn. I've posted a bunch at Otakuboards lately. You can check out my opinions on the new Yu-Gi-Oh set (Good), public reaction to Ralph Nadar (Bad), the decay of American comics (Also bad) and the sitcom Full House (Good.)
I've also decided that, some days, I just do'nt want to hear the news. I'm a politically minded person, but once every two or three weeks, I just don't want to hear the current hot-topic political issue.
So, tomorrow, I *don't* want to hear anything about the FCC regulations, the war in Iraq, gay marriges, or the Democratic primaries.
So, with my luck, John Kerry will marry Bubba the Love Sponge in Baghdad tomorrow. Cest la vie.
Thought of the moment: New Shonen Jump! Reviews soon!

Will the real DeathBug please stand up?
Yeah, I'm feeli'n strange right now. Nothing's going on, but I'm a bit hyper, and a bit tired. It's odd; perhaps snacking on Frosted Flakes then drinking 7-Up is a bad thing.
I love the Spong Monkies, the lil' crazy mascots int he new Quizno's Sub commercials. If you have yet to experience them, go to www.quiznos.com to view the commercials. My pathetic words cannot describe to you how cool these critters are.
Three different people have asked if I want to see "The Passion of Christ", and I told them 'no'. Why, you might ask? Because, on the whole, I don't like religious movies.
You see, if you watch TPoC, you're seeing Mel Gibson's interpretation of Christ's death. Same with any religious film. Thing is, though, we all have different views and images of how religious events took place. I don't want my own spiritual awarness and ideals to conform to someone elses just because they make movies.
I have my image of how christ died, and Gibson has his image. tHe only difference between us is that he has the cash and cnnections to show his vision in theaters around the world.
(This is in no way intended as a slam on Mr. Gibson, whom I like. Just my opinion.)
Thought of the moment: Man, that Kurama is one bad mo-Shut your mouth! I'm only talkin' 'bout Kurama! We can dig it!
Quote of the moment: "Madame, I may be drunk, but you are ugly, and in the morning, I shall be sober." -Winston Churchill, one of my favorite political leaders ever, foreign or otherwise

This is the rant that never ends
Wow. I am literally wiped out by the past few days. Where to begin, where to begin…
Let’s start at the beginning; that’s the best place to start. Wednesday, I found out why I didn’t get accepted for the school play: I was too tall. I was fine with that. However, it was the way I was delivered this news that kind of bugs me. The drama teacher’s head gal, (I assume she was), told me that I was great. She said that I gave the best reading anyone had all day. There were a bit amazed that I’d never tried to act prior to that day.
But I was too tall. Bummer, huh? ^__^;
I believe my decision was that I wasn’t too tall, but the rest of the cast was just too short.
And then came Thursday. Thursday, the mock trial team had rehearsals in the Tampa city courthouse, where the competition was to be held. This would be my first time driving into Tampa. Ever seen someone pray on highway sixty?
I learned a lot of things about Tampa. First, everyone knows what they’re doing except for you. Second, one way streets are evil, especially when the building you want to park in front of is to the left and you’re only allowed to turn right. Third, despite being great at it in Driver’s Ed, I can no longer parallel park effectively.
Did you know that the parking meters in Tampa stop charging after six PM? So when I arrived at five thirty and paid for two hours….
Next time, I’m not paying. The city owes me.
Fortunately, there was a vending machine in the courthouse that sold cheese Danishes. Yummers.
As expected, we made hamburger out of the freshman team. They were good, but new. No fault against them, though.
Going home was fun; it was dark, and I took the wrong exit off of the highway. Good thing I stopped at a gas station to ask for directions; apparently, I was going in the exact opposite direction I needed to go in. It was dark…I couldn’t tell…I got home, but I missed “Friends”. Well, I didn’t see it, but I can’t say that I missed it all that much. Just let me see how it all ends…
Friday featured the last pep rally of the year. I must say, the pep rallies have declined in quality of the years; there’s a lot less stuff for me not to care about that there used to be. Our ROTC guys used to kick arse, but now…*sighs*
Saturday morning. D-Day. The Hillsborough County Mock Trial Competition. Fortunately, I read the label on the parking meter this time, and discovered that you don’t have to pay on the weekends. Yay. ^^;
The first round was rather uneventful, actually. We went up against Riverview’s first team, the team that would eventually win the day. These guys were good, no doubt, and the girl on their team was really cute. (She had hands as cold ads the grim touch of death, though.)
And before you ask how I know that, we all shook hands prior to the trial. ^^;
We went through the motions, and I delivered, what I felt was, the best opening statement I’ve ever had the pleasure of delivering. I made one mistake on the cross examination, though; I asked one question more than I should have. (You’re supposed to quit when you get the best response from the other team’s witness, to leave the best lasting impression.) It was a minor gaffe, though.
We then waited, and waited, and waited for about an hour for the judges to give their critique of the other team. They made us wait waaaayyy too long before even asking us back in for our own critique. Because they’d eaten up all of our time, they just rushed through us, so we got very little useful feedback. Sigh.
Then, the next judge comes in, and, right off the bat, things get complicated. He decides that he doesn’t like the rules regarding having witnesses regarded as experts, so he’s going to change them. Great, so now one of the basic methods that we’ve practiced for months is altered; sure screws us up when we’re being graded against the other teams that haven’t had that alteration. --;
Then, the other team…they were actually pretty pathetic. They were using an objection that didn’t exist, and I wanted to call them on it…but the unofficial “Team leader”, who’d been doing this since freshman year, told me not to.
After the third time they pulled that stunt, I decided, screw this, I’m calling them on it next time they try it. So, of course, they don’t do it again.
Then, I get to cross-examine their witness. Yay. >: ) I had a set of questions prepped, but, as often happens when it’s not your own witness, something new arose. He made a nig point of credibility in his testimony, something I hadn’t expected him to do. Why hadn’t I expected him to do this? Because this particular witness wasn’t credible; he’d glossed over many important details of the law.
So, when he went on and on about how he’d followed the law, which was a rookie thing to do, given the witness profile, I hammered him on it, with his own affidavit. (Affidavits are like depositions, or testimony given prior to the trial. In this competition, everything you know about the witnesses comes from the affidavit)
I hammer him on this point, using his own character against him. It didn’t go off as smoothly as I’d planned, but, considering that I had implemented this strategy just seconds before stepping up there, it was pretty good. He’d made a very rookie mistake, and I took him to task on it.
Then, something better happened: when his own lawyer went up and asked him to clarify a few details, he had to ask to see his own affidavit! He had to basically look at the “script” to see what he had to say. Looser. ^__^
Then, our “Team leader” goes up to cross the other side’s witness, and she makes him look rather bad. This gal was clearly their strongest witness.
Finally, lunch. ^__^ Subway: eat fresh!
Then, we went to watch the last trial of the day, featuring the looser team we’d just gone against. Hey, guess what? They were even worse this time. The guy who I’d taken to task earlier gave one of the worst opening statements Id’ ever heard. He was monotone, robotic, and his eyes never looked up from his cue cards. It was so bad, I had to leave.
In the lobby, it seems that I wasn’t alone in my assessment; three whole teams had fled. Remember that girl I’d thought was cute? Apparently, one of the guys on her team was her boyfriend. How do I know? He kept putting his hand up her skirt. Yeah, and I wasn’t even the one who pointed this out. Ick.
Our “team leader”, in this interlude, said two things of note. One, I found dryly ironic. One pissed me off.
First, he said to someone that we’d defiantly done better in the first trial than in the second trial. Ah, no, WE did better in the second trial; YOU just got your hieney handed to you. Perspective, man.
Then, he said later how Bloomingdale’s team “Was a lot better in my sophomore year. That was defiantly our best year.”
Excuse me? How dare you disrespect your teammates like that! I don’t care how long you’ve been doing this, you show respect to your team! And, to make it worse, he says this while talking to another team’s coach. I was ready to shove him out a window. Gahh…
Deep, cleansing breaths, DeathBug…
Then, award time came. I didn’t win anything, but, despite what I actually told others, I really didn’t expect to. Props to Dawn for winning Best Witness, and props to Freshmen kid on the other team whose name I forgot for winning Best Witness, twice! The guy who was groping his girlfriend in the lobby won best attorney, and that team won the entire competition; I guess they’re good attorneys, even if they can’t keep their paws off one another.
Then, I received the biggest slap in the face I’d had all day: remember that really crappy team that we pants in the second trial? The one that was so incredibly bad in their second trial that the room was evacuated?
They won second place. What. The. Bloody. Hell?!
I am still furious about this. This team sucked! Everyone knows they did! They ran over their allotted time, they acted like robots on the stand, and they had to look at their “Script” in the trial. How did they place at all?! They were the worst team I saw all day, and I’m going to have a chat with our student coach tomorrow morning. Something is seriously wrong with this.
I might have said something then, but decided not to for two reasons. First, while there, I represented my school, and didn’t like the idea of acting in such a way without everyone else’s say so.
Second, I raced out of the building to avoid traffic.
See, a huge parade was taking place that night; traffic was a nightmare. Remember that episode of Invader Zim when Zim and GIR were lost in the city? That’s what it was like. Parades bring out all the freaks; that’s one of the reasons I hate parades. I finally got out, and got almost home, but locked myself out of my car in the gas station parking lot. ^^; By this point, I’d reached a Zen-like state, where absolutely nothing could bother me. My Dad came an unlocked my car.
I drove home and watched cartoons until I lost consciousness.
I awoke this morning feeling better about the whole thing, but…there was an article in the paper about the competition. It was basically a posh piece for Riverview, even quoting that God-forsaken opening argument. It named and quoted everyone from Riverview…and didn’t even mention the other schools.
Talk about adding insult to injury.
I bought two new comics this week: The Pulse and Abadazad.
The Pulse #1: JJ Jameson, the guy who runs the Daily Bugle newspaper, has come to realize that he’s loosing credibility by constantly bashing super heroes, so he has his ace reporter team up with a B-list super hero to head a new feature regarding heroes, called, guess what, the Pulse.
This is a great comic, and it’s got to be one of the best portrayals of JJJ I’ve seen in years. The way he pitches the job to both the B-list super heroine and his reporter was great, and a bit comical.
Abadazad: JM DeMattis is one of my favorite comic book writers ever. So when I heard that he was writing his own series, I bought a copy. While this is basically a set-up issue, it’s done very well.
Katie’s little brother loves the fantasy series Abadazad, but after he goes missing, her life falls apart. Years later, she’s approached by a strange woman who tells her that her brother is alive, held prisoner by the villain of the books in Abadazad itself. Apparently, the books are based on real events. As predicted, the issue ends with Katie being transported to this place.
It’s not superheroes, but it’s still good. Read it if you see it.
Smallville: This episode was so…average. Why does every single person Clark and Lana get involved with end up being a psycho freak? Two in the same eppie, even! And, of course, a dangling teaser in the last two minutes. Sigh.
Angel: Evil puppets are strange, because they’re both funny and incredibly creepy. This episode was no exception.
However, seeing a puppet Angel go Vamp was hilarious. I hadn’t loved puppets this much since they canceled Greg the bunny.
I finally saw the first episode of Xia-Lin Showdown, and was relatively pleased. Just one question: what’s up with Jack? Jack Spicer, the evil villain? So…he was just always and evil kid with robots and no motivation? A bit lame, I’m afraid.
Yu-Gi-Oh: So…Kaiba got pwned by Noah. Yay. It’s always nice to see Kaiba loose. However, I’m curious…if Noah’s so great…why’d he need the Big Five in the first place? And why’d he let Lector duel Kaiba? Meh.
And why the heck is Shinato a robot? He’s a seraphim!
Imp’ really ready for this storyline to be wrapped up. We all know the status quo won’t change, and Yami Marik is a much more interesting villain than Noah. Are we done yet?
Transformers: Energon: So….Cyclonus was alive, huh? And now he’s a traitor? Could of told you that. I’m much more interested in seeing how Demolishor reacts. However, this episode marks the first time I didn’t want to strangle Kicker, so I guess that’s notable.
Teen Titans:….Okay, that was weird. I expected a whole metaphor for puberty, but what’s with the storybook? And did they just leave Plasmis on the loose? And how’d he get out, anyway?
I’m much more looking forward to the return of Terra, who I thought was unfairly written out. (So, Robin’s girlfriend is on the team, but Beast Boy’s girlfriend runs away? Yeah, that’s fair.)
Shaman King: Wow. Faust VIII is messed up. Seriously. And Yoh lost! Gasp! And Ren’s back! Shock! And I’m totally frustrated with the sequencing of this episode!
Don’t get me wrong; it was good stuff. However, Yoh’s struggle against Faust was fairly predictable. Within the last three minutes of the show, EVERYTHING dynamic and important happens, and it leaves you hanging. I felt a bit…jarred.
Ninja Turtles: Lame.
Thought of the moment: I want to congratulate you if you actually read all this.

The eve of reconstruction
OB is back, baby. ^___^ It's gonna' take forever for me to get re-adjusted, so I'm putting it off until this weekend. ^^;
Tomorrow, I've got to drive into the city and go to the Court House for the final Mock Trial runthrough. Then, I go back on Saturday for the actual compettition. ^__^
Well, I auditioned for a school play yesterday. I didn't get a name role, but I'm invited to be part of the chorus, or have a walk-on role.
I won't do the chorus, though; I can't stand dancing in unison. ^^;;
I was so proud of myself on Monday; I got everything I needed to do done. Lawn mowed, homeworek done, room cleaned, bathroom scrubbed, car washed...whew...
Hmmm....I think I'm done with this post. I just wanted to say "hi". ^___^
Thought of the moment: I need a new hair style.

He'll live...he always does...
I think I shall give you all a brief overview of a day in the life of DeathBug...I don't really know why...perhaps I hate you.
Anyway, so, I wake up at a quarter to six and shower, as the radio I've got next to my medicine cabinet playa the Best of the 80's. I'm dressed and pressed by five after, and log on-line for about thirty minutes before driving to school.
Once at school, I have breakfast and kill time until seven twenty. Then, I go to first period, AP English. This is followed by AP Spanish, and AP World government. Then comes Astronomy, then PC Support three and lunch. I finish my school day with World Religions and AP Macroeconomics. Whew...
After class, I either go to the Mock Trial practice, or the YMCA. After that, unless I've got something else to do, I go home and finish my homework. I help my mom with dinner, then, after cleaning up, have the rest of the evening to myself. I usually either watch TV or go on-line, or both.
Man, I'm boring.
Hmmm.....there was something else I wanted to do, here....but I can't remember what it was...it will come to me later...
So, I got comics, manga, Transformers, and video games this week. I went on a spree at the mall. ^^;
Let's see...
Spider-Girl #70: Poor Carolyn Trainer. She was so sexy in Amazing Spider-Man #409...Mark Bagly was a master...but she apparently has not aged well. Alas, alas.
Well, this issue was a fairly standard super-fight until the last page. Hmm...apparently, international crime lord Black Tarantula, seen a few issues ago, is in love with Spider-Girl...probably because she was willing to beat the crap out of him to save someone else's life. Things are about to get interesting, that's for sure.
Quote: "I just want to kill you and move on." - Dr. Jade
Secret War-Book One: Nick Fury, head of SHIELD (Think the CIA for Super Heroes) inds out something interesting: the costs of maintaining all these various weapons that typical super villains use far outweighs their earnings.
Therefore, someone's banking thses guys. And if someone's doing that, then trhese aren't criminals anymore, they're terrorists. The big question is, who's doing this?
Quote: "Regurgitant-my favorite." -Agent Woo
Ultimate Six #6: The Avengers versus the Six on the White House lawn....wow. Doc Ock versus the Wasp, Iron Man vs. Sandman, Thor versus Electro, Spider-Man versus Kraven anf the Green Goblin versus Captain America. Although I like what I see, I'm really ready for this series to wrap up, which makes it pretty convienientt hat the next issue is the last.
Quote: "Captain, even though you and I are beside the point of all this, it is my honor to kill you today."- The Green Goblin
Spectacular Spider-Man vol 1-The Hunger: Venom's back, and, in addition to being a schitzo, he's attacking cancer patients. Spidey tracks him down, only to find...Venom's dying?! A kick arse story...
Quote: "I want to go home."-The symbiote
The Death of Gwen Stacy: Back in the early seventies, Garry Conway made comic-book history by actually killing a supporting cast member, in this case, Spider-Man's girlfriend. The Green Goblin did the deed, tossing her off a bridge like he would do to MJ in the movie thirty years later.
While tame by today's standards, it's still pretty good, and one of the must-read spider-Man stories.
Quote: "I loved her, Goblin! And you, you took her away! Filthy, worm-eating scum!" -Spider-Man (I guess that was harsh language for comics in the 70's.)
The All New Tenchi Muyo vol 3: Well, the past two volumes had been pretty harmless, but now things get...well, dark. Dark Washu, Washu's mischevious cyber-clone, challenges the gang to a series of tests to determine which is the superior Washu.
Of course, Tenchi and the gang win, but the nefarious Dr. Clay rewires Dark Washu, posessing her and making her an evil killing machine.
Evil chaos insues.
In the end, Washu and co. undo Clay's programming, but Dark Washu is nearly destroyed. Fortunatly, Washu saves whats left of her and uses it to create her new assistant, Tama-Chan. Huggles for everyone.
It's automatically cool because it's Tenchi Muyo.
Quote: "A gang war wouldn't be any fun without some risk, would it?" - Dark Washu
Transformer: Terrorcon: Divebomb- Hmmm....Energon is a very interesting line; not only did it produce a Velociraptor Transformer that I can't stand, it actually produced a hawk transformer I think is pretty awesome. Divebomb's got a very ninja-ish look to him, and is pretty neat-looking, sitting on top of my monitor.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Worldwide eDition 2004: Finally! ^___^ So far, I think the game's pretty nifty, but there's a few problems. first, the pasword system is gone. ;_; Second, the lower-tier duelists are easy to defeat. Third, it's a wee bit slow. Other than that, if you liked WWE, you'll probably like this.
The cards it came with were cool, ecept for "Fairy King Truesdale". Slate Warrior will be very popular.
Kinetic Soldier....gains 2000 attack points whenever he fights a warrior...*glares at KS* I loathe you...stop mocking me!!
Deep breaths....
Jackie Chan Adventures: So...that's it? The whole Demon mask plot wrapped up in thirty minutes? Kind of lame, actually. And weren't they going to do something with jade being Quen of the shadowkhan? They sure hinted at it enough. I don't think this is really the end...
Quote: "Whoa! Terakudo has legs!" -Jade
Xia-Lin Showdown: Eh, this show's okay. Even though I have no idea what's going on...
Yu-Gi-Oh: Gah, do Kaiba and Noa ever stop talking? And if Noa's some super whiz-kid braniac...why'd he need the Big Five? Noa's a loser.
And where the heck did Marik get to? He's not the kind of guy you can just forget about....
Shaman King: Finally, a new episode! And a new psycho, too. I don't know the deal with this Faust VIII guy, but I like 'em. Seems to be a evil freak, too. Good times.
Ninja Turtles: Clip show. Next!
I saw a really crappy horror movie...Halloween 3: Season of thw witch. Mike Meyers was not involved; it seems the plan was to make a new horror movie with a different plot every year, but apparently that did'nt work out.
The movie didn't have anything to do with witches; rather, a toy company that made Haloween masks was going to kill everyone wearing one of their masks...for some reason. seems to me like that'd hurt business, but...meh.
I advise you to never, ever see this movie for any reason. In fact, I'm going to spoil the ending for you, just so you're never even curious enough to watch it: the hero fails.
Well, I tired of typing, and I've got e-mails to respond to, and sleep to..get...so, I'll leave ya'll.
Thought of the moment: What would Jesus do for a Klondike bar?
Quote of the moment: "Is it just me, or does every one of your plans involve some horrible web of lies?" - Apu, "The Simpsons"

Wasn't that fun? Let's try something else
Well...I hope everyone had a happy Valentines Day. Even if I think it's a sham, there's no reason for everyone else to be as bitter as I am. ^__^;
I'm currently very shaky...suffering from OB withdraw...I need to post! Post!!
I'm rather tired at the moment, and a bit curious....
Does anyone actually read or enjoy the stuff I post? I mean, the TV, manga and comic reviews? It's a bit of work, and I won't want to do it if no one cares. So, if you actually do, then just let me know. Let me know what you like and dislike, etcetera.
I'm tired, and I'm not gonna' post now, but just let me know if anyone actually reads or enjoys my rantings, 'kay?
