   Yay, I guess
Well, my birthday came and went; my buddies and I saw "Once Upon A Time in Mexico"; it wasn't great, but it didn't suck, either. (The movie, I mean.)

I got abit peeved that the ticket-lady didn't bother to check my ID, what with OUATIM being rated "R" and all...

Went to the comic store and swapped the lousy Transformers: Universe comic for Ultimate Six #1, and a discount off of "The Best of Twisted Toyfare Theater", vol. 1. Expect a review soon.

Also, the guy at my comic shop is interested in hosting Yu-Gi-Oh games. I told him I'd be willing to help out. Of course, yhis is a win-win scenario: he gets more customers, I get a shot at cards I otherwise wouldn't get. Yay capitalism!

On the subject of Yu-Gi-Oh...I designed an evil deck, as in "the theme of the deck is evil cards". I might post it.

Gah...I get to spend all day today working; I'm typing this on my lunch-break. Again, I am reminded of how much I hate the play "Romeo and Juliet". C'est la vie.

Thought of the moment: Tybalt pwns you.

   Happy Birthday to me?
So...I finally got my computer to work...I can now log onto myOtaku from it. Yay! Expect more updates.

Shout-out to Solo Termaine: The Transformers: Universe comic sucked. Don't get your hopes up; you're not missing anything.

(I don't flame things in my actual reviews, but since you were interested...)

So...tomorrow's my birthday, and, as usual, any plans I had for a party/celebration fell flat.

Oh, and my homecoming date cancelled.

But at least I get the set of Trigun DVD's. :)

Thought of the moment: Man, Blue Gender sucked...

   Comics comics comics!!
Heh heh...got quite a haul this week...

Ultimate Spider-Man #43

This issue is a narraction from the POV of Shield Agent Carter, who was tracking Doc Ock last year. Apparently, shortly after Spidey put the hurt on the good doctor, another creature was released from the Hammer Genetic Testing Facility. Spider-Man, of course, saves the day.

Worst part: The Doc Ock story was a year ago...this is a good issue, but feels out of place.

Best Part: agent Carter's view on guys like Octavious and Osborn. Good stuff, and a logical viewpoint to take.

Spider-Girl #64

Part 4 of "Marked For Death", the sG version of "Hush"< is a bit of a breather after the all-action issue last time, but there's still plenty of stuff going down. A new crimelord is making his way to New York; meanwhile, May does'nt know what to dowhen one of her classmates is revealed as a mutant. As Spider-Girl, she's approached by the assassain Mister Nobody, who claims to be working for government special ops. now. He gives her info on Kaine, which she quickly makes use of.

Worst Part: This issue features the single most ugly panel in SG histroy....aside from that, it's all good...

Best Part: The last page. Mr. Nobody pwns you.

Transformers Universe: Abduction

A year after the events of "Beast Machines", a group of Autobots returns to Cybertron. Their homecoming is interrupted when several of the bots gathered are teleported to a nightmare world. Several prominent baddies oversee their capture, but most of them are robots that were already dead! The bad bots put their captives in a horrible Collisium called "The Pit", where they're made to fight to the death so that Unicorn can feed on their Sparks...eww...Meanwhile, on Cybertron, an unlikely champion emerges.

Worst Part: The art...what's wrong with these guys?! Obsidian, Rattrap and Tankor look nothing like they're supposed to. What's the deal?

Best Part: Obsidion's back! Yahoo! Now, if they'd just write him in character...oh, and bring back Inferno, Dinobot, Jetstorm, Thrust/Waspinator, Rampage, Nightscream, Botannica, Strika....

Spectacular Spider-Man #4

Spider-Man's wrestling with the Venom symbiote, who's still trying to posess him. With the help of the Fantastic Four, they et the bugger off, but the slimy critter escapes. Meanwhile, Eddie Brock is coming to terms with the fact that the symbiote no longer wants him. Spidey tracks him down, and Brock makes a rather unnerving announcement.

Worst Part: The drawing of the Thing...he don't look strong...just fat....

Best Part: the flash of the symbiote's memories that Peter recieves.

Eden's Trail #1-4

Early this year, Marvel published an anime mini-series with the inventive "Marvel-scope" format; the issues were elongated for art purposes. Thanks to the magic of the dollar bin, I picked up most of it.

On a dessert planet (Think Trigun), a youngf woman named Tila owns a prosperous bar. When a gang of thieves tries to rob her, an enegmatic stranger steps in to save her, but destroys the bar in the process.

This sets off huge series of events which I wish I could tell you all about...but apparently, it went on longer than four issues. Darn it, I thought I got them all!

It was a very enjoyable series with likeable characters; Il'l render a better synopsis when I read the whole thing.

Worst part: Untapped potential. All of the characters are unique and interesting postions, but not much detail is given to how they got there.

Best part: Aside from the amazing art, Id' have to say the characters. We've met Tila, Latch, Unit, Magpie, Pod, and the totally-insane Yune; all are unique, and each have shining moments. My fave scene is the opening of ish 2, where Magpie is about to be hanged. Priceless.

It was a *very* good week...

In other news...everyone else has a cool background thing going on with their sites...anyone know how to do that?

It's the weekend...yay?
Well...it's Friday...and I have so much work to do in two days it's not even funny. Gah...

On the plus side, I got some wicked comics yesterday; expect a review soon.

Nothing else to say, really.

Thought of the moment: I wanna' download some songs...will I get sued?

I have Friends now? Wha-?
So, I think it's time I let loyal views know what my current situation regarding this page be:

For some unknown reason, I can't log into my acount on my own computer. Until I fix this, I have to leech off of the family computer to post updates. Also, that lends me to little time to add Friends and view other sites.

So, if you're a friend of mine and I haven't added you or commented at your site, it's not that I don't care or that I'm insensative, it's that I'm not physically able to. In all likelihood I'm visiting your site, but having problems connecting, and therefore can't post. Such is life...

Also, for this same reason, I can't really browse the myOtaku sites very much, so if you want to be my friend, comment or sign the guestbook, so I know you've got a MyOtaku site in the first place.

(I didn't even know I could add friends until this morning...)

Also, don't ever expect to see fan art here, ever. I suck at art.

Now, time for a shameless self-promotion! (100% Shame free!!) Go join my RPG group at yahoo. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/digitalinvasion/

It's a Digimon RPG, but only original characters are allowed. I worked vewy hard on it.

Yu-Gi-Oh fans, look for an essay of mine about the card game soon. I'm actually going to present an opinion. (What?! Is he mad?!)

That's about it for today...I have guestbooks to sign...

Thought of the Moment: Just because I live in Tampa Bay does'nt mean I have to know who this Coach Gruden guy is! Leave me alone!

Quote of the Moment: "Look at it this way, you don't have to be evil! You could rent yourself out as a children's ride, you don't have to be all-whups!" -Spider-Man, regarding Doctor Octopus

(For those in the know, Doctor Octopus is the villain in Spider-Man II, coming to thaters next summer!!)

   It's all good
My spirits have risen quite a bit since yesterday; I feel alive again. W00t!

Anyway...nothing important actually happened today; I'm just in better spirits. Maybe life doesn't suck after all.

(Sadly, I still notice all the happy couples...I hate them...)

So, today "Blue Gender" officially lost me. I've been nuetral on it for a while now, but it just got freaky. I can see Tony acting that way, but the little girl? She was so chipper it was annoying, and it instantly made her my favorite character on a show where everyone takes themselves too seriously, and characters die way too frequently. Bleh.

(I'm 22 eps in, so I might as well watch the rest, but it's going in my discard pile of anime, along with the original "Mobile Suit Gundam", post-Cell DBZ, and "Ultimate Muscle".)

Oh, new comics out tomorrow! Spider-Girl (Marked For Death part 4) and Spectacular Spider-Man (The Hunger part 4)! Yay! Too bad I won't get them yet. :(

Oh, and one of my Yahoo RPG characters is trying to kill himself. He's been goin 'that way for a while...it's very twisted, actually. You'd have had to have read the whole thing. Poor clone psycho.

That be it, really. Current status: Lonely but still chipper! You cannot stand up to my chipper...ocity...I'm done now...

Thought of the moment: All my time at the gym's starting to pay off; too long enough. Im' a child of the Internet; I demand instant gratification, darn it!!

   Bleh....
First off, let me clarify that if you've visited this site, it doesn't automatically mean that you're bored and lonely; it's just a strong indicator.

Anyway, today was odd, and bad. Usually, bad days don't bother me; my keen senses of humor and perspective, coupled with my sunny disposition, keep me upbeat, despite other events. Today, though...

First off, I broke the passenger's side rear view mirror off of my car. I had washed my car yesterday, and because it's the rainy season in Florida, decided to parl it in the garage so if it rained that night my car wouldn't get all streaky. (To make matters worse, it didn't even rain.)

While backing my car out, I paid very close attention to the driver's side, the side closest to my mom's minivan. So, of course, the other side breaks. It wo'nt be a hassle to fix or anything, but it's generally a crappy way to start the morning, know what I mean?

The thing that really bugged me was that it was such a stupid mistake. Just plain stupid. Anyway...

For some reason, today I felt totally unmotivated in class. "What's the point? They just keep assigning work...who cares if it's done?"

Ocassionaly I start talking like that, usually when we go too long without a holiday, but for some reason, you could have lit my hair on fire today, and I don't think I would have been motivated to run and scream in a horrible panic.

Then...girls...For some reason, my current lack of a girlfriend kept smacking me in the face. It was wierd; I just felt alone, and a bit unloved. I do'nt know where the heck that came from.

And then came lunch...I don't have the same lunch as any of my friends, dso I eat alone. Normnally that's fine; no one messes with me, I don't mess with them. But today, some punk freshman decided to start something. I shot him a look that could scare a banshee, and he got the message. Ironically, I'm not confrontational when I'm upset; I'm actually more likely to spar when I'm in a good mood.

Oh, I failed a Microeconomics test. That sucked, especially because I passed the previous one with ease.

And apparently everyone at the YTMCA choose today to be selfish with the equipment. It says not to rest on the equipment between sets! You're not the only one in the freakin' gym, you steroid-crazed freaks!!

And now I'm here, venting. I feel a bit better, but I'll probably be in a funk for the rest of the day. I better be back to normal by tomorrow...

Thought of the moment: Girls are most likely insane....I need to gets me one...

   Well, how do?
Yeah...this be my new site. Yay!! Don't expect it to be udated very often, though, unlessa lot of bored lonely people take an interest in it. I'm not sure what, exactly, I'll put here, but I'll figure it out.

Thought of the moment: I want a Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon....
