I'm so bloody happy right now!!
Screw the job, screw the cards, and screw the comics; there's another reason why I'm stoked: Julia agreed to be my girlriend. I'm bouncing off the walls, and not just because of all that Dr. Pepper I drank.
After an okay movie (Raising Helen) and a cool dinner atr Subway, I was dropping the lovely lady off at her abode, when I decided it was now or never. So, I simply asked her, "Would you like to be my girlfriend?"
She replied, "Would we have to do anything? I've never been a girlfriend before."
Damn. I was lucky to have gotten the question out, and I was really in no shape to define terms. I mean, it was a cultural thing; I just took it as understood.
Well, after a few awkward (on my part) minutes oof clarifying, she agreed.
I am the luckiest person on planet Earth, and also on Marklar and Cybertron. And Pluto.
On to other matters: even though I had the B&N cafe thing going for me, I went all over the mall again, applying for ever more jobs. I'm kinda' sick of that place, actually.
Also, I found a card shop off Highway sixty that would trade in Yu-Gi-Oh holos. I can trade the useless (to me) holos in for some good stuff. I've got my eye on: Tribe Infecting Virus, Heavy storm, Airknight Parsheth, Mudora, and a few others.
And, I went to the comic store, and picked up four books: Ultimate Spider-Man #60, Spect. Spider-Man #15, Spider-Girl #75, Marvel Knights SM #3. Of them, I recommened MKSM the most this month. Good twist in a good story.
