Battle Routine Set! Execute!
I'm addicted to Megaman: Battle Network.

I didn't play the first game, but bought the second on a whim. I played it religiously, but never actually beat it; I was unable to defeat the game's final boss, Alpha. Lousy bugger sliced me like a cabbage.

However, with the purchase of Battle Network 3, Blue, I've had my love of the characters and dynamics of the game re-awakened. The possibilities of evolutions (Style-changes) for Megaman are incredible.

I've gotten Woodshield style, which, as the name implies, is a defensive style that has a bent towards nature programs. I got the woodshadow style, but abandoned it; not only was it dorky-looking, but it took away my Mega-Blaster for a less-efficient weapon.

My current style is the Flame Bug style, one of the hardest styles to achieve. There are ways you can alter Megaman's abilities through 'programming'. If you 'program' inncorrectly (by not following a set of simple rules), you create a bug, or error in Megaman. This comes into play when he's battling.

If you keep the bug in Megaman and level him up, you'll get the Bug Style, which gives him unique, random, and often malignant abilities. However, keep with this style, and you'll get a programming code that nullifies all bugs.

Heh; now that I've got that code, my version of Megaman has many more possible programming options, not being limited by the threat of Bugs. to defeat the bugs, you must embrace them.

Like I said, I'm addicted. ^^; MM:BN 4: Rising Sun, comes out on the 29th. (The day before Spider-Man 2 opens!). you can bet I'll be getting it.

Thought of the moment: Happy Birthday, Stephanie!
