I'm still here
An explanation of my absence: in addition to being uber-busy with the closing of the semester, my computer died on me, thus leaving me to leech off of my family's computers.
And my parents have decided I spend too much time on the computer, so if I wanna' be a computer junkie, I can't use theirs to do it.
They're probably right, but it still sucks for the moment.
So, what's been going on with me? Mostly school work. I've only got two projects hanging over my head, one of which is fairly simple. And I've only got two exams, so I'm really looking forward to the end of the semester.
I've got to send in college applications to University of Florida and University of Southern Florida soon, but Im' waiting until this semester's grades are out.
I'm also awaiting news on two fronts: the details of my internship at the State Attorney's office this summer, and when the position will open up for me at Saccino's Men's Formalwear. I'm eagerly awaiting developments on those fronts.
I've taken to tournament-level Yu-Gi-Oh! playing on Friday nights, and have done very well with my new Gravekeeper deck. I've gotten to the finals, only to lose because of a mistake on my part. (I made an overly aggressive move and left myself with no defense, which is actually totally unlike me...) I can't wait for the Lost Millenium preview this summer.
I've got an idea for an on-line web comic about a guy that works in a coffee house. It will be composed of various combinations of two different panals: him behind the register speaking, and him behind the register thinking. I just need to get my sister to draw the two panals.
Trust me, it's cooler than my explanation makes it out to be.
Even though I'm not Catholic, Im' saddened by Pope John Paul II's passing; he was a remarkable man worthy of respect.
And I'm going to see Sin City on Saturday. Crazy, no?
I can't promise when my next update will be, but I'll try to keep to a weekly schedule.
Though of the moment: I'm additcted to Butterfinger Crisp bars...
Quote of the moment: "Who created you in a laboratory? Yes, I did! Oh, yes I did!" -Killer Moth, "Teen Titans"
Song of the moment:
"I'm Not Okay", My Chemical Romance
Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say.
I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.
For all the dirty looks, the photographs your boyfriend took,
Remember when you broke your foot from jumping out the second floor?
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
You wear me out
What will it take to show you that it's not the life it seems?
(I'm not okay)
I told you time and time again you sing the words but don't know what it means
(I'm not okay)
To be a joke and look, another line without a hook
I held you close as we both shook for the last time take a good hard look!
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
You wear me out
Forget about the dirty looks
The photographs your boyfriend took
You said you read me like a book, but the pages are all torn and frayed
I'm okay
I'm okay!
I'm okay, now
(I'm okay, now)
But you really need to listen to me
Because I'm telling you the truth
I mean this, I'm okay!
(Trust Me)
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
Well, I'm not okay
I'm not o-fucking-kay
I'm not okay
I'm not okay
(Okay)
