Yeep?
I really ought to get around to updating the looks of this site, but I've been really tired as of late. Cest la vie.

So, this morning, I got two letters of recomendation from two of my teachers. The particular teachers choosen were selected because they, in addition to having known me for a while, are also department heads. Looks good, I must say. ^__^

I'm meeting the admissions director for the Hillsborough Community College Honors Center on Monday. Yay, I guess. I've got to snag my transcripts Monday morning. The fact that I'm talking with a college admissions lady is blowing my mind.

More and more, lately, I've been faced with the fact that I'm on the threshold of entering the Real World. I saw the Lion King when it opened, but it's ten years old now. They're re-doing the cartoons I grew up on. It's scary, and I haven't actually, truly come to face this fact yet. And I don't plan to, not just yet.

My school is planning a Sadie-Hawkins event. For those unknowing, it's where the girls ask the guys to said event, and pay. It's a small balancing of kharmic accounts, you might say. I'm torn. On the one hand, I approve of the concept. Make the gals pay, for once. ^__^;

On the other hand, I'm scared to death that I might not actually get asked.

To add to my romantic depression, it's almost Valentine's Day. You can't tell by listening to me, but I'm actually one of those people who believes that V-Day is a fake Hallmark Holiday (C) made up just to push merchandise on the unsuspecting masses.

It's also a day for those annoying couples to shove their happiness in the face of those still single. Grr.

Today, in Mock Trial, this smart-ass sophmore punk really torqued me off. Seriously, he's correcting me on procedure, and generally giving a lot of attitude. So, I guess showing a bit of leeway to the alummni, who've actually DONE THIS BEFORE is out of the question? Cretin.

Thought of the moment: YGO WWE 04 comes in a little over a week. ^__^
