Will the real DeathBug please stand up?
Yeah, I'm feeli'n strange right now. Nothing's going on, but I'm a bit hyper, and a bit tired. It's odd; perhaps snacking on Frosted Flakes then drinking 7-Up is a bad thing.
I love the Spong Monkies, the lil' crazy mascots int he new Quizno's Sub commercials. If you have yet to experience them, go to www.quiznos.com to view the commercials. My pathetic words cannot describe to you how cool these critters are.
Three different people have asked if I want to see "The Passion of Christ", and I told them 'no'. Why, you might ask? Because, on the whole, I don't like religious movies.
You see, if you watch TPoC, you're seeing Mel Gibson's interpretation of Christ's death. Same with any religious film. Thing is, though, we all have different views and images of how religious events took place. I don't want my own spiritual awarness and ideals to conform to someone elses just because they make movies.
I have my image of how christ died, and Gibson has his image. tHe only difference between us is that he has the cash and cnnections to show his vision in theaters around the world.
(This is in no way intended as a slam on Mr. Gibson, whom I like. Just my opinion.)
