ey wats up?i kno this is gonna sound wierd but i watched my 1st episode of death note yesterday and now its my new favorite anime!^^so ne1 that has info on or just plain out thinks that death note is awesome sign my gb or post a pic!8ter XP

Refered to L, is rated the worlds greatest detecetive and is somewhat the leader of the Kira investigation group. Since L first met Light(Raito) he has been suspecting him as 'Kira'. But sadley did not have proof enough to say Light was Kira. Even when the evidence stated Light was not Kira he still believed on his theory. However L could not prove his guilt, and in Chapter 58, Light tricks Rem into killing L for his own personal gain, making her believe that she must kill him for the sake of Misa's life. L's last sight before death is Light triumphantly smiling over his defeated rival, and in his last moment he confirms to himself that he had been right all along.Ironically, despite Kira being L's opponent, at the core, Light and L shared many things in common.
