Hey!
I just got back from walking from the tain station *it was about a 20 minute walk*. A selection of students (Who helped with the year orientation) got to go on a reward excursion to the state's parliment house and miss a whole day off school =D.
Th parliment house itself was pretty boring. They just talked about ickly politics for one hour... yeap. It was also a tribute to some Australian military general who was a hero in WW1.

Atfer the whole speech and everything, we had a tour of the house, and by then it was 12.45, lunch time! So, we walked around the city and stopped at a city walk called Southbank. Everyone was a bit annoyed because there wasn't a McDonalds around xD, Me and Melisa included. So she and I had sushi instead, and fed little ricegrains to a pigeon who we named pigey lol.

We had an hour break to look around and we saw somethign cool. From the outside it looked liek a giant inflatable jumping castle that was also a maze! ^_^ but.. it wasn't lol.
Inside it was dark, and they had all these wacky stuff in there. There was an animated mat that you could step on (Themed under the sea). We were stepping on the jellyfish, and they glowed hehe.

There was also this projecter. You place a cardboard number on the bottom and it shows up on the screen. THEN, When you make a shape with your hands (On the projecter that then projects it onto the screen), that shape is created and bounces off onto the screen! It's reallly cool! (Sorry, best despription I could give of it ^^;;)

Soooo that was my day hehe. HOpe yours was just as enjoyable. Now I am off to play some Zelda on N64. See ya!
