I was actually able to finish my coffee this morning. ^_^
It's raining. I love the rain. There's this really mellow song by Modest Mouse (from Good News From People Who Love Bad News) That goes really nice with the rain. (I forget the name of the song.)Why do people get sad on rainy days? I find rain very relaxing. It's like a calm just settles over everything. Of course if it rains for more than a week I do get a little droopy. But then I just draw or write really morbid stuff and it all evens out.
Anywho, call me crazy but I'm ganna start buying Japanese splatter movies! I swear the Japanese are some crazy mofo's when it comes to gore, but damn I love em for it. (Must be cause their samurai grandparents were like taking heads and stuff back in the day.) I'm a big fan of stuff like that. Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Evil Dead... why do all my favorites have to word "dead" in em? LOL Anyway when I was little I use to be very scared of horror films then one night Dad sat me down and made me watch Evil Dead(...well, he more so dared me to watch it than anything.) and I began to learn the art of turning my fear into humor and laugh every time someone got killed. (The messier the better.) Am I sick? LOL I guess I'm, as another fan of this genre put it, "a serial killer that never was." Of course I could never bring myself to delibrately murder someone...honest.
