   3/7/05 - Renaissance Fair
Last Saturday I went to a Renaissance fair with a friend of mine. They needed some volunteers from my school to help serve at the feast, so my friend dragged me along. I was the only non-drama person from my school. Meaning, I was the only one not in drama class... It was kinda fun actually. There was jousting and I got to dress up in my halloween costume... It being the only thing I owned that may resemble the kind of dress they wore. But having my cloak over it, you couldn't tell that it was a halloween costum really. =^_^= So it was all good. I got a flower from a victorious knight from the jousting competition. Some guy came over and handed me this pretty flower and said "James ----something said you inspire him from a far."

I took the flower and just went, "Um okay? Thanks!" =^_^=

"He killed me so I had to give you a flower."

If your not sure what I'm talking about then I'll explain. The one who dies in the battle is to give the victors lady the flower. My guess is the knight did not have a lady there so he chose me to give it to. It was rather nice really.

Anyway, that's about it... hope everyone had a suitable weekend as well.
