good and bad
well, i have good news and i have bad news. bad news first just to get it out of the way. heather's husband won't install my air conditioner for me. it's not because he's not willing to though. he is, but apparently you have to "charge the liquid" (not sure what that means) and he doesn't have the machinery to do it with. guess i'm gonna have to pay the money to have the company do it. oh well.
now the good news. i found a flier on the bulletin board at work for a dodge ball tournament (just like the movie - awesome movie for those of you that haven't seen it). we're trying to put together a safeway (the company i work for) team. anyway, it's for 6 - 10 person teams (so far i have 4 definite yesses and a maybe. we still have about 2 or three people to contact). if we can't get enough from work, i know several guys (and a few gals) that would be more than willing to play. the top prize is $500. second is $200, and third is $100. i don't even care if we win anything. i just think it'll be fun to go play some dodgeball (i haven't played since my freshman year in high school). i'm tired of just sitting on my computer all day (though i do love chatting with rebecca all day long) and going to work, then doing the same the next day. i need some change.
wish us luck

random stuff
well, i missed rebecca again (by like two minutes this time according to ani and dean/ben). bah. we're going on 4 days now that we haven't been able to actually talk to each other outside of here. *tear*
oh yeah, i have some good news too. i talked to a girl i work with (well, she works in the deli, but yeah). anyway, she said her husband could prolly install the air conditioner for me a lot cheaper than the company in portland would. he might even be able to order the parts online for me cheaper. she didn't know what he would charge me, but she said it wouldn't be a lot. i'm gonna try to call him some time tomorrow to see if he'd be willing to. *crosses fingers*
it actually rained today, but it was so humid hardly anyone noticed. it was like walking through a lake. i kinda like working on days like this (work has air conditioning, and since i'm a checker, i never have to go outside - yay me). i don't have many hours this week though, but the deli manager asked if i'd be willing to pick up a few shifts there. i really really need the hours if i'm gonna be able to afford all the random junk i'll need before my trip to visit rebecca. i also still needa pay tuition...ick, but that's not until september. yay. i also just got word from the bank that i qualified for my first credit card. there's only a $500 spending limit on it right now since it's my first one. that means i'll have to start buying stuff with it and paying it off to build credit so maybe they'll raise my limit by next summer. methinks a credit card would come in very very handy on a cross country road trip.
*looks up* wow, this post is a lot longer than i originally intended it to be, so i'm gonna shut up now and go visit your guys' sites.

i lied. i said i'd go to bed when i got home, but dad got off sooner than i'd expected so i got home a little earlier, so i came online on the off chance that rebecca would still be up. guess she wasn't. *looks sad* yeah, um, my sister just walked in and made me forget what i was about to say. oh well, must notta been important, eh? i've got this coal chamber cd thing on shuffle repeat. think i've listened to it about 50 times over the past 2 days now....and i'm still not tired of it.
*eats some more crackers with chicken dip stuff* i haven't been eating much lately. at first i thought maybe it was because of all the drama that was going on earlier (maybe part of it was), but that's mostly gone now, so maybe it's the weather...i hate humidity. heat is ok (i grew up in a desert - southern california) but humidity is not. *shakes fist at everything around me* damn you washington, damn you! ok, i'm done now. time to sit back, relax, and see if anyone decides it would be a good night to be online. i won't hold my breath over it though.

message for rebecca (and anyone else that feels like reading it)
i worked some more on rebecca's picture this morning while waiting for her to come on. this is the first time i've ever tried a drawing using a wire frame model. it's really hard, but so far i like the way it's turning out. i'm trying a new style of drawing, so it's really really hard. everytime i start to draw something i think that it looks way wrong, but then i remember that's what anime is (i usually draw realism).
yeah, so anyway, i had my computer turned on with the speaker volume up so i'd hear if anyone sent me a message. no one did, then i hadda go to work. if you come see this while i'm at work, know that i love you kitten. i don't get off work until 1am your time, then i have to go pick up my dad from his work. i'll be home around 3 or 4 your time. i'll just go to bed when i get home and hopefully i'll be able to talk to you tomorrow.
all my love *kisses* good night kitten.

today
well, today was exciting (sarcasm). i knew rebecca would be working in the morning, so i went out to run some errands while she was at work. went to the college (they only had one stuffed penguin there kitten. not sure if that'll work or not. i thought they had more. oh well) i'm gonna get an air conditioner installed in my car. $500 deposit, then another $800 for parts and labor. sounds expensive, but it's actually a lot cheaper than what most people were telling me it'd cost...and it's a lot cheaper and less hassle than getting another car. then i came home and sat online for a while waiting for her, but she never came on. not sure if her connection was bad again, or if her parents made her go somewhere. it's ok though. i went to the book store and gotta few books to help me with her picture. one of 'em's called "how to draw shoujo" (some kinda anime stuff i guess) and the other is a book full of people in different poses. it's funny how a buncha naked people in an art book is ok, but in any other medium it's considered pornography. i was gonna go see "I, Robot" tonight (actually last night. this thing thinks it's a day later than it really is), but the people i was gonna go see it with bailed. they have to work in the morning, so the 10:00 showing is too late for them (it's the earliest one that's playing after they get off work tonight though). they're going tomorrow night instead (while i'll be at work. thanks a lot guys). oh yeah, almost forgot.
i was talking about music with rebecca last night and she mentioned that she loved coal chamber. well, i've only heard one of their songs before ("something told me" off the "resident evil soundtrack"), so i decided to go buy one of their cds (got "dark days"). it's pretty good. i can see why she likes them.
so, yeah, that was my day. how was your guys'?
*runs off to work on rebecca's picture*

chess
i was just curious if any of you guys play chess. i play it all the time (not much else to do online). anyway, if any of you would like to play me, i usually play at www.zone.com you'll have to download some stuff and create a name, but it's free, so don't worry 'bout that. i usually play under the name Demon_Messiah1. add me as a friend and send me a zone message to see where i'm at. i'd love to play someone i actually know. no one else i talk with knows how to play or is willing to. aww well. hope ta see ya there.

this morning
well, since rebecca was working this morning so i couldn't talk to her, i went shopping. i used to be able to just flip my knife open easily without using the thumb stud thingy, but i think the lubricant wore out or it got some sand in it or something. anyway, i went to Excalibur (the coolest knife store ever) and bought something called Tuf-Glide. it's a dry lubricant/protectant thing. i put some on the moving parts and now i can flip the blade open easily again. yay!
here's a pic of my knife. isn't she perty?
