i forgotta tell you guys
while i was at rebecca's house i finally saw a decent anime. i also figured out why i couldn't stand the stuff before. the only things i'd seen before were what she called 'classical anime' where the scripts didn't seem to fit very well and the sound was always choppy and the way people talked was too unnatural. anyway, i watched hellsing 1-19 (pretty good though a few parts got annoying - like when arucard stood and talked about finally having a vampire worthy of his power instead of just fighting it) and 3 ghost in the shell things. not sure if the ghost ones were episodes or little movies by themselves, but it was all right. the art was pretty awesome if nothing else. i liked the second one best (giant tank with some dead guy's brain hooked up to it trying to kill his parents because of what they made him live through. i love that tank. it's so awesome...oh yeah, the story was good too..hehe).
