being shy sucks...
well, i finally got the nerve to ask annie out...i sat in my room holding the phone for almost 10 minutes just staring at it trying to dial the number. and then when i finally hit the numbers, her phone was dead (didn't pay bill for this month), so i bought some flowers and went over to her apartment to see if she wanted to go have lunch or something, but she wasn't there. her roommate said she spent the night at her aunt's house and would be back some time later tonight. i left the flowers there as a surprise for her when she gets home. hopefully she says something about 'em, otherwise i dunno when i'll get enough courage to ask her again. nikki at work said they had no idea when she'd be back, but i hope it's by tomorrow morning anyway. annie wanted to play poker with us and i'm setting up a game for tomorrow (we both have the day off and chris's place is available), so hopefully we'll getta game going and she'll be able to come. she's never played with us before, but says she's good...we'll see tomorrow. i hope she really is good...i'm tired of playing with idiots...hehe.
