The road goes ever on and on...
So...! It has been a couple years since I last posted something on MyO :p
I doubt the people I used to talk to are still updating their sites.
I remember back in high school (I'm a college Junior now...) I used to wake up 20 minutes earlier just to post something before school, then go to other sites and comment on their posts. I wonder if I can keep that up this time... It lasted a couple years before. I think I stopped when I went to Korea... It's like, if you skip a post, then you stop posting completely.

More Packing...
Phew. So, I finished packing. It took me about 16 hours over the course of two days. And the Committee changed my moving date to Friday. If I don't update in a week, then most likely, I don't have internet access...

Packing
So.. I'm packing. Yeah. It's taking a while. The last time I packed when I switched host families, it took me a good 12 hours. That was on a weekend. Right now, it's a weekday and I don't have much time... I have one more day left. Yeah. I'll be pulling an all-nighter for sure. XD So far, I have two boxes that I'm going to send back to the states. I'm working on the other box. When those boxes are done, I'll be moving onto my suit cases. Two big ones, one little one. Oh my god. I wish I was like that wizard from The Sword in the Stone. I'd make everything shrink and fit in my pocket. Yep.

Privacy
There are some things that I can't say here. There's a possibility that the committee who's sponsoring my exchange may read this. I mean.. I doubt it. They don't know MyO; but they could do a search on me. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I don't want to say something that'll make them take back my scholarship.
Honestly, I was going to say something bad. XD As in, a bad deed. But after six months, when I'm home safe, then I'll share more of the juicy stuff that I've done here. I don't mean my personal life 'juicy'... Damn. I'm just digging a deeper hole for myself. XD
I made this quiz two years ago. I don't agree with my result. XD

Samishii...
It's so sad... in ER. I just finished the 15th episode of season 5. It'a called, "The Storm" [part 2]. At the end of this episode, Dr. Ross decides to resign. He asks Nurse Hathaway to go with him to Seattle [or Portland] but she doesn't want to just up and leave. Then Doug starts to walk away and Carol says, "Doug. I don't want to wake up alone tomorrow." And she starts to cry. They share a long, but heart-breaking kiss. It was very sad. I know they get back together.. but the episode in itself was just a sad one.
The song "Resuscitation" by Sheryl Crow is in it. Does anyone by any chance have it? I want it...

New Host Family
I have to change host families in February. That means that I may or may not have access to the internet. Hopefully they'll have it. If not, I'm gonna have to find one of those internet cafes or internet cards or something. I noticed that the internet isn't as popular in Japan as in America. It's all about the cell phones. Cell phone websites, cell phone text messages, cell phone pictures, etc etc. It's cool though. =] All the danglies that you can add to it... yeah.
Well, instead of avis today, you get to see a few pictures of my phone:
Oh, by the way, I can't ski to save my life. I went skiing today with my class. Wearing the skis felt like I had triple L size feet. I could ski and turn on the kiddy slope. XD But once I got on the lift and went on the steep slope, yeah. It was a death wish. But I'm glad I did it. I would have regretted it. =]

Karaoke
So... I went karaoke-ing today. Since my friend, who's also an exchange student, is going back to Texas, a group of us went to karaoke to say bye bye. I've been karaoke a number times since I got here.. and I must say:
Japanese people can sing. =]
It's probably because they've been karaoke-ing so much, they know how to "play" the mic. I, on the other hand, can't sing to save my life. Rapping is easier for me. XD But I will sing once in a while. Have you been to karaoke before?
My parents have a karaoke machine at home, but it's all old Chinese and Korean songs. It's got English songs, but things like, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "You Are My Sunshine." Yeah...

Ski...
So you know how in High School you have to pass Swimming in order to graduate? Well, I don't know if you have that. I know I did in school. In Japan, at least in my area, you have to take Skiing. Forget the water and hit the snow. Right. I come from Chicago. Last I checked, no ski slopes there. I've never skied in my life. XD
Anyways, there are 5 ski days at school. Each day, we're going to take a bus up to the slopes. The first day is this Friday. Whew... I think I'm just going to wing it. XD XD

Isn't that how the quote goes? Maybe it's a little different... Anyways. No sleep for me. That's probably because I'm trying to sleep in school. Actually, I've been sleeping in Study Hall. Study Hall is held in the Library. No one else is there except for me and the other exchange student. We usually talk, but sometimes I sleep. Well, today, I decided to also sleep during lunch. Instead of going to Lunch, I stayed in the Library.
I was sleeping just fine when I teacher came in. She woke me up and asked me if I was going to eat lunch. I said no, I'm not hungry. [In truth, I ate during Study Hall.] So, she left me alone. Later on, she came back, woke me up, and told me that I can't sleep in the library while other students are reading. Like I'm bothering them. I'm not snoring, and there was only three other students. So I put up a book to cover my face and fell back asleep.
