For Real!
Merry Christmas!
It's actually the 25th here. Not the 24th... Therefore, I say "Merry Christmas" and Happy Holidays to those who don't celebrate it.
Well, here's some info about my stay in Japan...
I have a tattoo on my lower back. In Japan, tattoos are taboo. Especially on women. So... Hot springs, spas, basically anywhere, I have to be careful. I've been to a few hot springs and spas, but that's because I've hidden my tattoo so that the staff doesn't see. There were a few times when I was caught.. I was almost kicked out of this one spa, but my host mom convinced the lady into letting me stay. The next place was the gym I go to. They didn't threaten to kick me out; instead, they offered band-aids so that I could hide it. [When I bent over, my tattoo was exposed...]
Yep, that's one of my many experiences here. XD
