im baaaaaaaack
well, not quite. im in NYC on my cousin's computer [she lives in queens]. bah, she had SOOOOO much spyware it wasn't even funny. 50 trojans. 10 adware apps.

needless to say, i cleaned it up for her *squee*

i had SO much fun :P i even wore my "computer liberating" headband, aka my naruto headband. yeah

afterwards, i got to go to this awsome game/LAN/internet cafe place, played plenty of DDR, ect ect *smile*

forewarned is forearmed: i'm going to rhode island, visit some old friends, tag along with my dad as he does grown up business, head to long island, see some relatives, prior to that maybe goto boston, see other relatives, and maybe vermont, to see mountains.

because of all that i won't have internet unless i steal it [it's kinda challenging actually] and so i won't be able to get to your sites.

NOW for my excuse why i haven't been to them earlier: i'm packing. i'll be gone for a good week to 2, so yeah, i'm packing alot of crap to keep me busy ^_^;

zero, stop giving me that "all you've been doing was playing maple story and throwing clothes in a suitcase" look. Finding a way to fit a bokken into a small space is NOT easy work nyo >_>;

i'll give everyone love and hugs when i get back, and i'll view everyone's site regardless if they even updated >_>

shipped my review off... I didn't think it was quite good, the rough draft was definitely crappy, i had to put it through the reviser SIX times to get something decent. which is not best.

so yeah, stupid 48 hour countdown.

REVIEW TIME!!

I finished watching Peace Maker Kurogane, pretty good, but mostly on the mediocre side. I basically kept watching it since it was interesting 'nuff ^_^

well, anyway, that means i'm writing a review... hope no one steals it at the last minute *whimper*

NEON GENESIS EVANGELION "KAWAII" MANGA INITIATIVE:
"Newtype is translating and publishing a serialization of the Japanese manga, "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days." Watch for it in the next issue. Like the title suggests, this manga is light-hearted to an extreme. The Eva pilots are put in a happy-go-lucky world where "choosing the right girlfriend is more important than saving Earth."

What I say: T_T this scars me. the show is SUPPOSE to be all ANGSTY and DARK and ... DISTURBING. well, I guess this vision would be just as disturbing.. i remember at the end when there was that "alternate world of happiness" I was jumping up and down on my couch screaming... ^_^; original artist and writer i hope?

DISTRIBUTE LEGAL ANIME WITH BITTORRENT? AnimeOnDVD is reporting that ADV Films will begin testing the use of Bittorrent for distributing legal anime-related downloads (such as trailers). The first release is a trailer for MadLax and can be found here (special software required). Thanks AoD.

What I say: completely defeats the point of bittorrent! that is the tool for the masses of those who don't want to pay for it. we get trailers by bittorrent REGARDLESS! [coughnarutomovie2trailerlol]... Good luck ADV! [note: i already downloaded the entire Madlax series by bittorrent. take that adv! i still plan on purchasing merchandise, just to be a good consumer :p]

^_^;;; 2 days ago, as many of you will have known, the HP book came out. well, like the crazed fan I am, i went to the bookstore with 5 of my other pretty crazed fan friends as well, waited, didnt get -my- book because i orderedit thru amazon [damn yew!] and had to wait for the next day. did that stop me from finishing it before my actual copy arrived ? behold my sequence of events:

11:12 PM: started waiting in line, read shoujo beat.
12:01 AM: 4 of my friends out of 6 received their books they did -not- order thru amazon,
12:20- 6:30am:Shared a book with my friend, got to around chapter....23, then vision began to blur, konked out for an hour and a half.
8am: woke up frantic, i had 2 more hours to finish the last 100 pages [out of 600].
9:45 am: Finished the book, ate something, went to sleep.
4pm: woke up, realizing 2 things:
1) I should NEVER EVER in the future stay up nearly all night. I just can't ;_;
2) I missed my kendo class!!!

30 minutes later -my- copy of the book arrived :)

company's gone
so my company left 2 days ago, and now MORE company came today ;_;

is my life completely made up of entertaining guests!?!!?!?

hahah, nice tos ee everyone again. my cosplay is coming along fiiiiine ... i think. ^_^ I'm -almost- done handsewing the jacket, once i get the cuffs and stuff done, it'll be done!!! then the obi, pants, where is my goddamn turtleneck? and shoes ^_^;
