reverse pocky and other things...
sooo lesee.. after school i had go club!!! and i FINALLY managed to beat someone, so i got to be at his place on the go skill ladder... MWAHAHAHA!!~!!! XD;; maybe watching all that hikaru no go helped?

hahah i wish, i've only read like 12 pages of hikaru no go X_x I'm a bad person! BUT after go club, i got to go to this cool japanese shopping place! mostly all imports, i got a bottle o ramune and some reverse pocky. bascially it's like chocolate pocky except with the fudge on the INSIDE. SUPER good. and the ramune was melon of course :) altho when i opened it it started fizzing and crap... 0_0

interesting anime spotting: @ the same grocery store, they're was a tape rental place below... AND THEY HAD ANIME!!! inuyasha, one piece, (original) pokemon, totoro, spirited away, utena.. some random old anime... and... THE RUROUNI KENSHIN OAV TRUST+BETRAYL!!! the 'directors' cut anime that costs like a jillion dollars just SITTING there in a plastic case... 0_0;

of course it was all unsubbed undubbed and only for rental. hahahahah XD;;; but it was goo to see anime spreading!!

SOON WE'LL TAKE OVER THE WORLD *is whacked on the head* owie.. ok.. :0

only....2 more days until ANIME BOSTON!! i betcha all jealous now huh? XD;; sorry about that but.. yeh, I won't be updating thurs fri sat and sun.... >: D but I promise I'll put up the cosplay photos here on theO (yatta).

Now something actually funny....

So in english we were suppose to write up a fake billboard for a transatlantic flight to hawaii.... and you know in hawaii the flower necklace things are called leis? (lays.. like the chips). WELL this girl i know who sits next to me (totally KH obsessed >>;) was CLOSE to making her ad say

"get leid in hawaii!"

now if you read that right it'll sound like 'get laid in hawaii' -___-;;; alot of people cracked up tho >>;;;

ANIME SERIES COMPLETION!!
^_^ just finshed all 26 eps of samurai champloo.... it was good, for all the sex, drugs, and violence it had >>; well not ALOT, but yeah, def. not some kiddie movie... but it's still funny, fast paced, and has EXCELLENT graphics, action, and characters...

my only gripe would be the lack of continuuity most of the time.. short adventure sagas, but it basically only focuses on the 3 protagonists, jin, mugen, and fuu. everyone else may be seen in the next episode, but then dissapear (well they mention the 'sunflower samurai often too') ^_^ all in all, the show was worth it!!

And I haven't even begun my homework, hahahah..hahah.....

allergies got worse this week, I"m considering large animal sedatives ? XD

*eats large quantities of ice cream*..... it always seems to help &_&

changed theme to...... yoshitoshi aBe's haibane renmei!!!! i LOVE that show and i got some of the soundtrack and love it even more ^_^

booting rantbot XP
OMG THERE IS NO GOD!! okay.... so maybe that didn't make much sense, but just aboutl 80% of my worst nightmares and 30% of my total fears just came true.

Front page. live action NGE movie.

so I never did expect the whole thing to come alive. I thought it was just some rumors flying about the net.

But no. they actually had to go open the pandora's box. ugh, ya know, the thing is the CG pics look AWSOME! I'd really like to see some 3-d rendered and actual 50 foot tall evas running around....... but no. they have to 1) make it american and 2) have real people try and act out this anime.

So that brings up point number one. american. see, they have a pretty nasty history about the whole anime adaptaion thing, i don't have to go much farther in that field......

but what REALLY honked my horn was the characters. they don't look 16!!! they look.. iono, 30!!! the eva pilots are suppose to be teenagers, in the years where they are unsure of everything, and in an environment where even the adults are unsure of everything. but the concept sketches i can deal with since it's just pictures. BUT they HAD to a) change names and b) change the hair color. RAY?? KATE ROSE??? where the bleep did those names come from!?!? obviously, Rei became ray because they thought american audiences.. would assume that anyway, which is 100% true. I'm pretty thankful for the fact that they didn't turn her into a BOY. kate rose? way to sissy for asuka. and their hair! obviously, blue hair wouldn't work as well, i can LIVE with rei being a brunette, but we still love her original hair T_T.

but point number 2, live action is what gets me because eva, being the amazingly poignant anime it is, is perfect for an anime because you can make the characters do whateve ryou want, with the right amount of intensity. with live actors, it's harder because their human, and they might be dumb humans and they might be able to grasp how to act that way when the young boy you were suppose to take care of becomes more and more distant from you, and eventually sucked into an alternate dimension becaus of his own folly.

I wonder how hideaki anno (the original director) feels about the namem changes...

I liked the eva sketches at least.

how hot are you? well that's easy, normal human body tempurature is apprximatly 98.6 F, but since the heat in my room isn't turned on it's more like 97 or 96.. but if we really wanna know, to make sure i'm not dyin gof fever, i could always use a .. oh i don't know, a THERMOMETER which i'm sure is MUCH more reliable than.. SPYWARE. sheesh.

BUT WHATEVER!~ turns out i wasn't able to watch fruits basket ysterday, but i WILL today because i finally have some time to get stuff done >: D

*cough* okay, so MAYBE my allergies are driving me nuts, and MAYBE i haven't taken any meds fo rit for the pas 48 hours, and MAYBE i'm on the verge of sueing allergies on the grounds of pain and suffering, NONE of that means i'm going INSANE.

Okay, MAYBE. @___@;;;

and maybe, just MAYBE, I stayed up till 12 studying yesterday.

Just fyi, I am no night owl. or day bird either 0.o;;; i just wanna sleep sleep sleep...........

tomorrow is half day! actually a 2 hour shortened day!!

err.. if i'm suppose to be happy and not sneezing, i'd send out happi thoughts ^_^

gonna go watch the last disc of fruits basket today, instead of preparing for my science projet, ja ne ^______^;;
