anime boston
CON REPORT TIME!!!! ^_^ so i got to boston by train with my best friend and her mom..... and we got our costumes on (i was piyoko and she was dejiko of Digi charat, i'll get pictures as soon as i can, promise!). Meandered about a bit, and then...

ANIME NAME THAT TUNE: most the of anime name that tune games ont he east coast cons are run by an individual known as cory who is known for chucking 'super cool' (also known as pixie sticks) at the crowd... all the contestants won some DVDs, the champion got this HUGE bag full of tofu record goodies X_X JEALOUS!!! and umm... yes, the songs.. there were alot of hard ones.......... and 'narutarded' ones as cory puts it. (american cardcaptors opening? ew!)...... i guessed the zoids opening correct, and a .hack song!!!! fweeeeeeeeeee :)

Also, I did alot of *coughshopppingcough* at the dealers room.... the dealers room...

was big. VERy big. and i bought alot of things... Xd;;;; like the nerv messenger bag i wanted for a year... and naruto headband.. and umm.... expensive imports... XD;;; but they weren't allowed to sell pocky for food!!! so if you wanted some, you had to go outside and pay the dude standing there with a santa sack full of pocky

there was a little mini rave too (under the title of dance) ^_^ it got a little hot but very fun! we all love glowsticks non?

Saturday: Saturday was the yoko ishida concert day!!! ^_^ she sang a bunch of songs.. and did some para para dancing.... I didn't go to the para para workshop, but i saw people play..... dance... err.. BUT I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS!! hahah, but she was a great singer. also on saturday was the masquerade, and i believe it may have been the shortest masquerade in history.. an hour and half!! there were alot of walkons and no shows... but som eo fhte skits were FUNNY>..... ^_^they played the AMV winners too! the best in show.... was surprisingly NOT a comedy amv (most of the comedy sucked anyway). it was a rather... ermm... dramatic *cough depressing* amv with full metal alchemist (so THATS how it won1) and completely spoiled 90% of the show.

needless to say, i closed my eyes ^_^;; went to the second dance again... and dealers room again..

and bought keychains :) so now I'm home again... after a rather uneventful flight.... with some homework to do...

IT'S MY BRITHDAY, W00T!!

*cough* odd things i saw at anime boston: a guy with a ukelele singing 'cruel angel thesis'. a guy on bungie stilts that can jump 5 feet off the ground. edward scissor hands cosplayer.... a guy with a staff that was decorated with previous badges from other cons.. (otakon 1995!!?)
