I had a dream last night. I dreamt I was playing Super Smash Bros. with Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma. The character select screen looked like SSBM and I selected the white outfit Marth -- my best character -- while the other two selected Kirby and Ness. But then we were playing on the old Brinstar level from the first SSB, and Kirby and Ness had their SSB movesets. Even in my dream, the level appeared exactly like it does in the game, down to the slopes of the terrain and the floating platform over on the right. I took care not to let Kirby use his airborn down+A to knock me straight down into the lava while fighting on said platform. It was a great fight and we were all evenly matched. I was sad when it ended (I don't remember who won) and I woke up.
I haven't even played SSBM for a few weeks, let alone the original SSB. Yet I can have a dream where things appear exactly as in the game, and the game's physics even act the same. It kind of makes me think I've played the games too much. Like, way too much.
