This is the first midi in a new year of Now Playing, so I thought I'd do something a bit special. I tried and tried to think of what song to use, and I was drawing a blank ... until I thought of this.

GinnyLyn, though you may not know her, is a good friend of mine. She's probably as good as any friends I know in person, and her birthday is coming up on August 19, so I thought it would be perfect to use the Chrono Trigger song To Far Away Times. Not only does it relate to being the first of the next year's worth of midis in the sense that Now Playing is going "to far away times," but I also think of Ginny whenever I listen to this song. Mainly because of the little present I gave her for her birthday last year. ... But I meant what it said, and listening to this song helps remind me of it and all the great times I've had talking with her. And I hope it does the same for her.
