The Mystery Behind the Lack of Visible Membership (Part 2)

Now you might be wondering why there is a part two when the last update clearly revealed the reasons behind the lack of visible membership for the official Desbreko FanClub. Well it all happened on a dark and stormy night when one of the founders was approached by a prospective fan. Excited at the prospect of the first new member to join they were aghast to learn that the person had indeed attempted to join only to receive a failure notice from the e-mail host!

Aaryanna, the president of the company immediately set out to investigate this matter. Her first interview was none other than indifference as she was the one tasked with checking the e-mail once a week for potential candidates to join the Desbreko FanClub. After a bit of hedging the truth finally came out. It appears that due to school indifference occasionally forgot to log in and thus inactivated the account. A matter that she asserted was quickly corrected upon her realizing that she had forgotten.

Unconvinced due to her edgy behavior Aaryanna decided to check into it further and she was absolutely shocked by what she found! Immediately Aaryanna confronted indifference who at first denied it and then finally broke down in tears.

“You don’t understand!” She wailed! “By the very law of our great and glorious club I am forever denied the great Desbreko! And when I saw how witty and funny Charles was I began to wish I had a fan club for him too!”

At that point she became incoherent and was taken away to receive treatment. In light of this shocking turn of events, instead of dismissing a highly valued member of the club we have instead decided to expand the club. This startling turn of events has made Aaryanna realize that the club is missing something vital. And that is something to look forward to as in the next month as a result of this incident a new and exciting section will be added to the Desbreko FanClub. Be sure to keep an eye out for it! ^_~

Let The Updates Commence!

Well we’ve been promising you that we would be updating and that happy day has finally come. Part of the problem is that having been a member of OtakuBoards for five years, Desbreko has a very illustrious career and his fan base has been constantly growing for the past five years. So there’s a lot of information to report on! Some of it new, like the Happy Anniversary wish in the previous post and some of it a bit older.

But we thought the very first thing we should address was not only adding an updates page to the official site, which is now there on the left hand side navigation bar, but to also figure out why his fans didn’t trample the founders in an eager rush to join the fan club. So with that in mind we bring to you the first update! An investigation done by all four founders and written by Aaryanna with helpful input from SunfallE, Mariskah and indifference. The Mystery Behind the Lack of Visible Membership

Well it’s finally time for the very first update! That’s right all of you out there who were thinking this was just a fad, well I’m here to show you that it’s not. ^_~ To begin with, we, the founders, had decided to wait until a few members had joined so we could introduce new members along with the updates. And believe me, we have quite a few updates, so you’ll be hearing from us for a while.

Anyway, when it became apparent that everyone was not rushing to join the official Desbreko FanClub we decided to do a top secret investigation to determine what was scaring all of his fans away. After promising all of the participants in the investigation that their identity would remain a secret we finally got the answer we were look for.

Now we can’t give you the exact details as to how many people we talked to or the exact words they used but we can sum it up for you. And to make it easier we decided to put the results in a survey format.

98% of the girls we talked to were afraid to join as they feared that their current boyfriend would be insanely jealous once they realized just how wonderful the great Desbreko was. So they had decided to keep their adoration a secret. The remaining 2% didn’t know who Desbreko was so we gave them the link to both the fan club and OtakuBoards. ^_~

90% of the guys we talked to were of all things afraid that by being a member their girlfriends would dump them to chase Desbreko once they realized who he was and how magnificent he is. So though they admired Desbreko they too decided to keep their adoration a secret. That and they said admitting you wanted to worship another guy gave the wrong impression to the ladies. 6% didn’t know who Desbreko was so we also gave them a link to both the fan club and OtakuBoards. The remaining 4% denied knowing who Desbreko was. How do we know they were pretending they didn’t know him? I think that when someone says “I don’t believe someone that cool could exist!” And then turns around and quickly stammers “I don’t know who you’re taking about!” It’s fairly obvious they are pretending.

So there you have it! The mystery has been solved. ^_^ Be sure to keep checking back as we promise that more updates are forthcoming. ^_~
