My art is cute... ?
So, today was the day we voted on t-shirt designs for our anime club! We started ordering club t-shirts online last year, and thought we needed new ones. I submitted a design at the last minute, somethin' simple. Did it last night, for all of three hours since I had forgotten about it until then. Well, it didn't win the vote, but it was very popular among the club. Apparently my little semi-chibi samurai guy was pretty cute. And two people said it looked like Ichigo from Bleach... not sure why.
Also, we decided who was going to Homecoming to represent the club. And no, I was not one of those people (praise Buddha). For more crap on homecoming (talkin' to you Korey) go read the bottom.
Anyway, we've got some German foreign exchange students around campus for a while, and a few of them did a guest-speaker bit in our economics class. It was cool, learning all about the German youth of today (heh). Did you know the Euro is worth 1.40 dollars?
More crap tomorrow (maybe not), so see you all... er, both of you... then.
@ Korey: Blah blah blah, I don't think I even know anyone who's going to homecoming. There's just no point in me going. Not only would I be by myself, but I'd be bored and awkward, and steadily growing more and more depressed that I'm there alone. So drop it. It wouldn't be a good experience. I don't even enjoy that kind of thing!
Oh yeah, I wanna get one of those cool little music things too... how do they work? (Don't answer that, I'll figure it out)

My Duty... ?
Yes, I suppose it is my duty to keep this thing going... even when nothing interesting is happening.
Soooo... classes are good... especially math. I guess our teacher is just awesome, but I'm doin' great. Not that I had a problem with math, but it's going smoother than usual lately. And I recruited a new anime club member from that class! Bwahaha!
Speaking of anime club (and duty, for that matter), our club apparently needs two representatives at homecoming next week. Now I don't normally go to that kind of thing... I can't stand 'em actually... but if none of the other three officers want to either, it'll come down to a vote... and I might be forced to go. Which sucks. And Korey, I know what you're gonna say... so spare me >_< I don't dance and I don't do crowds. Homecoming = dancing in large crowds. Fuck that. (Oh, pardonez moi!)
Anyway... we've got Wednesday off school for... some reason... ah, parent/teacher conference day! But Mom probably won't make it 'cause... hey wait, did I tell anyone.. ? Holy crap I didn't...
Yeah so, my mom is enrolled in Seminary. She won't necessarily be an ordained minister when she's done... but she really wanted the religious experience... or something... ? Gah, I could care less. All it means to me is that my mother is in school at the same time as me and my sister. Sheesh.
Damn, this turned out ot be a pretty long post. Whatever. More information tomorrow... or Wednesday, whenever I get around to it.
P.S.: A question to those two of you who read this: should I start including songs in these things like everyone else? I think I used to... back in my old profile. I gotta look myself up and find out...

Is not!
Love Hina is not hentai! It's only borderline. Heh. A friend of mine (Dylan) gave me all his Love Hina manga (9-14) which he originally got because I had 1-8 and let him read 'em. Anyway, he got tired of 'em and gave 'em to me. My fellow anime club officer (Kathryn) claims that Love Hina is hentai, but what does she know! It's romantic comedy, it can have however much near-nudity it pleases.
An unusual amount of parenthesis and "'em"s in there. Bah.
I've discovered in Art 3 that I kinda suck at charcoal drawing. I blame it on the fact that you can't erase it. Not all of it anyway. Anyway, we checked on our stock market project in economics the other day, and I'm already making a profit! Or I would be, if I actually owned $40,000 to buy stocks with. Apple and Microsoft both went up considerably (imagine that), Dell went up a little, and Blockbuster dropped by two cents. That's from 9/11 to 10/2. Why did I invest in so many computer companies? She did say to invest in things we're familiar with...
Anyway, that about wraps it up. Aside from earning ranks and achievments on Halo 3, I haven't been doing much. How many of you can claim to be a Sargeant Grade 2? Didn't think so.

Yes, I'm alive.
Hey all. No, I didn't die. I got a severe case of Halo-itis. It's goin' around. Be careful.
On that note, HALO 3 IS THE FA-REAKING SHIZNITE!!
Ok, that's out of my system. Anyway, schoolwork is piling up, but I think I'm handling it alright... we started a stock-market project in Economics today. It goes until December, everyone monitering the stocks they bought via the newspaper. Meh.
Not much to talk about really... oh well.
Before I go... Steph - hope you're doing better by the time you read this. And remember that you're a good person. A great person in fact.
Good bye (for now...)

Recent Developments
Yeah, creative title right? Bah.
So, cool news first. A friend of mine had a paintball gun he didn't really use anymore, so he gave it to me for the bargain price of fifty dollars! w00t. If that sounds like a lot to you, consider that the gun was originally $170. Anyway, whatever the price, it's certainly better than the rental guns at the field...
Also, our Anime Club officer's meeting on Tuesday went well. We've decided on Tuesday's for all meetings this year, as one of our officers can't make it any other day. We adressed the fact that we're running out of anime to watch... we saw a great deal of it last year, and though we will have new members (freshman), the majority have been with us at least one year. If we could, we would watch whatever anyone happen to have... but we can only watch A)anime we have permission from the publisher to watch and B)anime without excessive violence/sex/skimpy outfits/swearing/etc. Which narrows down the list. No Bebop... pooh.
Anyway, the shitty news. School work is predictably overwhelming. I'm already starting to lag behind... because I procrastinate. And ignore parts of class. I have bad focus. ADD. So sue me. Though Art class is going good so far. All three of them. My Drawing/Illustration teacher said I have great perspective... that's cool I guess.
Well, I guess that's about it... uh... [insert witty ending here]

Wednesday
Isn't that a great title? Anyway...
School started on Monday, and I have to say, this year looks to be a combination of awesome and "OMG, I can't take this anymore!" I like my teachers. Got some cool ones, some funny ones. Always good to have funny teachers. But the work load this year is going to be painfully large.
As for the paintballing that took place over the weekend... ouch. Let me just say that night play isn't all it's cracked up to be. Foggy lenses and thorn bushes don't go well together. I got surprisingly few bruises this time... one bad one on my arm. And a lot of mosquito bites. They didn't even start itching until almost two days after. Anyway, we've got a ton of extra paint, so we're going back sometime soon to waste it all.
Well, I'm an anime club officer this year (secretary, if you were wondering), but no one knows when club is starting. Managed to find our sponsor, and she said that the officers were supposed to decide. So I found Katherine, our president, and talked to her. She says the officers are meeting Tuesday to decide that and various other things. w00t.
Well, that's all to-

Around the Corner
Yes, indeed, school is just around the corner. Today was the 'Round-up' for our school, where everyone goes to get IDs, schedules and parking permits. Lines up the proverbial 'wazoo'. Also finished registration for ACC courses. Advanced College Credit. We'll see how that goes. Had to drive all the way to Austin to submit the damn forms.
Anyway, I'm excited for this weekend. Signed up for a big paintball event at Tactical Paintball in Harwood (If you don't know where Harwood is, doesn't matter. No one does.). This month's event is based off of the movie Tears of the Sun, though it hardly matters. There'll be at least 100 people, all of us fighting a big team game from 5 pm to 5 am Sunday morning. Free food too. Yeah. Friend of mine might be going, but since he didn't pre register he'll have to pay fifty extra bucks to play. Sucks for him.
That about wraps it up... by the way, you should have that bump on your neck looked at. Could be cancer from the radioactive particals on side B... nasty stuff.

Just a quick update today... not much really going on, but I feel I should say something.
So, finally saw Blade Runner the other day. Realized that it was a Ridley Scott classic and I had never seen it, so I hopped over to Blockbuster. Heh. Funny thing though... I didn't realize it was based on the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Phillip K Dick, which I had read a few months ago. Go figure. Also saw Black Hawk Down, which I found while looking for Blade Runner, and realized I had been wanting to see as well. Even better, we got 300 on DVD. w00t.
Got a good look at our new school building today. The parking lot is still a mess, but damn it looks good. Almost makes me excited for school. That's a lie. But I am excited to see all my friends with some regularity. Hopefully I'll have a few good classes too.
That's it for today I suppose. Insert Disc 2 to continue installation.

Squeadlies and Meadlies
Man, it's been a busy week. Haven't gotten to update for... ten days. Sheesh.
Anyway, Friday was my seventeenth birthday. w00t! Now I can practice magic outside of school! I'm gonna go take the apparation test...
Harry Potter fantasizing aside, I did get Guitar Hero 2. It is everything it's cracked up to be. I play it so much my fingers hurt. For anyone who's familiar with Strong Bad or Trogdor, the title of todays post will make perfect sense.
Well, Camps over, so I've got nothing to do but wait out the rest of the summer. Our school has finally built a new building. The old one was over thirty years old and falling apart. So I get to have my senior year in a nice new campus.
That's all for now. See you... whenever.
AND THE TROGDOR COMES IN THE NIIIIIGHT!

Deathly Hollows
Big news! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows just arrived in the mail! We pre-ordered it some months ago. I'm excited.
In other news... it rained one hell of a lot yesterday. Had to take two detours to get home because of flooded roads. Which means that the camp staff party that was going to take place today is delayed until tomorrow. I may or may not go, but it's at my cousin's house a couple of minutes away, so I can go back and forth as I please. Meh.
Does anyone who reads this (all two of you) play Oblivion? Talkin' to you Sess. I just reached Mancar Camoran, the big boss guy. Goddamn, he's hard to kill! Keeps healing himself as I try to finish him off. Oh well. I'll get it eventually.
Now excuse me as Harry Potter consumes my attention for the next several hours.
Replies-
@ Korey: Yeah, it's a shame. But the camper's too young to understand exactly what happened. He just misses his brother.
Oh, by the way, side C is a wormhole that traps you within for eternity. Hope you like the color blue.
