Long Overdue
Song for today is Guarded by Disturbed.
My my, how long has it been? Couple weeks? Whatever. Seems our little trio of posters has ceased to update. Well, I'm gonna start again, and maybe I'll stay active this time.
Not a lot to talk about really (which has partially contributed to the lack of activity). My Xbox 360 had a system error about two weeks ago, and I had to send it in for repairs. The repairs are done, but I still have to go pick it up from the UPS place. No one's ever around when they deliver it! Anyway, in the 'in between' time when I didn't have my beloved console, I busted out good ol' Kingdom Hearts 2 and did some power-leveling. I've surpassed my old best of lvl 75 bow about nine levels. Still going. Gotta power up Final Form. Heh.
Ino ther news, my math teacher loves gadgets. He's always getting new electronics to test out in class. recently he got a set of some kind of 'student remotes' that allow us to input an answer to a question in the corresponding quiz program. So of course, we had to have a day to play around with them. We played Math Jeopordy, and my team dominated. I don't mean to brag, but it mostly because I was there... you see, my classes collective IQ seems to be somewhat below average. To put it simply, with a few exceptions, they're all idiots. I'm not exxagerating, trust me. To put this in perspective, with me pressing the answers and doing most of the brain work, our team was a good two hundred points ahead of the next highest.
Egotistical moment over. Moving on.
The future is looking grim! With no scholarships and an application essay hardly even considered, it looks like I'm on my way to Austin Community College for my first year. Now of course, this means I can get required basic courses out of the way and transfer to a four year college next year, which isn't a bad idea at all. It just makes me feel stupid.
This is turning out to be a depressing post. Let's end it.
