YAY!!!
I got to see Simple Plan in concert! Hedley opened for them! As well as two other bands that . . . sucked.
The first band, the No No Spots, were the worst. The music wasn't near as bad as the singing. She was terrible. She was off-key so it sounded awful.
The second band, the Planet Smashers, weren't near as bad. They had originality. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I was into their type of music. I didn't like their clothing though. They wore jail clothes. You know the orange ones. But I have to say that the lead singer was pretty good-looking. The main thing I didn't like was their swearing and the song Super orgy porno party. I have one word for that song, ew.
Next up, Hedley! Now I love their songs. They were pretty good, got the audiance involved and everything. I don't believe they swore all that much either so I was pretty happy with the whole show.
Simple Plan rocked. They really got the audiance involved. And I mean really. They'd point to different people and say something to them. Plus they'd talk to all of us. They got us to sing different parts of songs, to jump to the song Jump, and to clap or wave our hands in the air. The show was great and the music rocked. The drummer, Chuck, ran out into the audiance, up the stairs and then back down. The only problems I had was their language. They swore and didn't talk appropriate especially with little kids there. Pierre, the lead singer, was the one saying the sick things. Plus he made gestures with his mic. Yuk! But everything else was awesome!
My sister, Ellen, and I got to be on ground level so, although we got pushed around, we got to see them really good. My older sister, Elsa, paid for the tickets. She and my other sister, Eileen, got to sit in the eighth row from the front so they got a pretty good view.
